As I was taking a bath earlier, all that occupied my mind was how I had the power of the Celestial Wolf. I began to think that Rion must be right, that what we knew from history could be wrong. The Celestial Wolf couldn't possibly be in deep slumber in the Undersea Tower. People must have believed the wrong story all along.
I thought it could be a dream, just a one-time thing, or a power lent to me by the Goddess only to get my revenge.
But when I felt the power still running through my veins when I woke up, I knew it was etched into my soul now. It didn't leave, and I doubted it ever would.
It felt mine. It felt like something that had always belonged to me.
