Taking advantage of the gorilla struggling to free itself from the thorns, Qin Jian scrambled with hands and feet, climbing back onto the Gorilla's massive head.
The little beauty's magic had been ineffective, making Qin Jian realize the Gorilla's freakish defense. The only thing that could hurt it now was the log jammed in its nostrils!
If he could drive the log into its skull, no matter how strong it was, it would die from brain damage.
That was Qin Jian's plan as he climbed onto the Gorilla's enormous head.
The Gorilla's long, dense fur now became Qin Jian's best handhold. Grabbing fistfuls of hair, even as the Gorilla thrashed wildly, it couldn't dislodge Qin Jian.
Qin Jian's newly acquired agility also allowed him to narrowly dodge the Gorilla's claws several times.
"Roar~~~" The Gorilla was frenzied. It leaped dozens of feet into the air. When it landed, it crushed countless trees. The ground shook violently.
Qin Jian nearly fell off.
But now, Young Master Qin was face-to-face with the Gorilla, gripping its fur. Its huge eyes radiated a bloodthirsty glare, sending chills down Qin Jian's spine.
Without hesitation, Qin Jian clenched his fist and punched straight at the Gorilla's eyeball, delivering a solid blow.
Clang! A loud crash echoed. Qin Jian felt intense pain in his fist. Hitting the gorilla's eyelid felt like punching steel plate.
Only now did Qin Jian gain a direct understanding of this mutated monster's defense.
Putting all his weight into his kick, Qin Jian stomped hard on the half-exposed log.
Squelch! A sound like a bayonet piercing flesh. The log drove another small distance into the Gorilla's nasal cavity. Cascading blood drenched Qin Jian's head and face.
The Gorilla groaned in agony.
The fragile flesh inside its nostrils suffered severe damage, making its entire body tremble with pain.
Qin Jian wanted to stomp a few more times, but a surge of intense heat suddenly erupted in his chest—a massive, scorching flow. It felt like he was being roasted over a fire.
Immediately, this heat surged through his limbs and bones. Though dispersed, it still burned Qin Jian to the point of delirium.
Even so, Qin Jian's large fist, accompanied by the whistling wind, continued to pummel the Gorilla's eyeball relentlessly. The thud-thud-thud sounds were unceasing, thoroughly shocking the green-haired girl's soul.
Qin Jian felt something desperately trying to burrow into his chest, while something inside his chest seemed to struggle to break free, swelling intensely. It gave him a feeling of impending doom.
Suddenly, a blindingly bright light burst from his chest, enveloping both Qin Jian and the massive Gorilla.
The girl was utterly dumbfounded. Everything before her eyes surpassed her expectations.
Gorillas were physical attack beasts, incapable of even a hint of magic. Yet this brilliant light clearly resulted from a powerful magical spell.
Could it be... the person I summoned is a Mage?
Crack! A crisp sound, coming from the depths of his soul, made Qin Jian involuntarily stop his actions.
In that instant, he suddenly felt completely clear and smooth. All his previous discomfort vanished, as if all the restraints within his body had been shattered.
The Gorilla clutched its head, lowering it and remaining motionless. Qin Jian could clearly sense an ethereal connection forming between himself and the beast before him.
Tentatively, he punched the Gorilla a few more times. This previously savage monster remained utterly still. Instead, it peeked at Qin Jian through the gaps in its fingers with its two eyes.
What on earth is going on? Just as he was about to turn his head to ask, Qin Jian suddenly felt darkness overwhelm him. He plummeted straight from the Gorilla's body, landing on the ground with a splat.
In his slumber, Qin Jian seemed to see a vast river appear within the world of his body. Flowing within this river was an indescribable liquid, filled with power and mystery. This river traversed his entire body, forming a great cycle, flowing endlessly.
At the river's source was a small, round sphere spinning rapidly. With each rotation, the river's flow accelerated, and his consciousness grew clearer.
Though he didn't understand why, Qin Jian knew this sphere would be his most important thing in the future.
He didn't know how long passed. When Qin Jian slowly awoke, he almost jumped up again.
Reaching down to touch, he found both his clothes and his chastity intact. He relaxed.
However, the mutated gorilla sat directly in front of him, its massive legs spread indecorously. A huge bulge hung between its thighs, drooping on the ground like a pile of feces.
He was facing that very bulge, nearly making direct contact.
The pungent, acrid smell assaulted Qin Jian's nose, churning his stomach. He scrambled to his feet, warily confronting the King Kong before him.
The Gorilla frowned slightly, its eyes full of grievance. Its enormous, upturned nostrils wrinkled repeatedly.
After observing for a while, Qin Jian felt something was off.
The previously domineering, savage Gorilla had transformed into a docile lamb. The look in its eyes seemed to hold a hint of pleading and ingratiation.
Although the log jammed in its nose had been pulled out, making its face appear even more ferocious, Qin Jian sensed an inexplicable connection between himself and this behemoth.
A flowing energy in his chest felt like it could control the Gorilla's life and death at any moment.
"You're awake?" A familiar voice, tinged with exhaustion and surprise, came from behind him.
Qin Jian turned his head and nearly stopped breathing again.
The green-haired beauty lay slumped on the ground, wide eyes fixed on him. The scant animal hides covering her couldn't conceal the boundless spring scenery. From Qin Jian's angle, he could see the deep, fair cleavage clearly.
The girl's red, weary eyes showed she had just woken up. Clearly, the previous battle had exhausted her.
Glancing back at the motionless Gorilla, Qin Jian cautiously retreated towards the girl.
"Huff... Huff..." The Gorilla looked deeply wounded. It let out a series of soft sounds from its mouth, gazing innocently at Qin Jian.
