Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Standing Up for Someone

Aunt Li was so angry that her face turned red: "Do you know that you've all broken the law?"

"You've wantonly slandered and spread rumors about the descendant of a hero, incited netizens to carry out cyber - violence against Emily, and caused Emily's mother to have a recurrence of her heart disease and be hospitalized. You all have to bear legal responsibility!"

Sophia was still struggling desperately: "Who do you think you are! Do you know who I am?"

"My aunt is the director of the Public Security Bureau. Even if I break the law, it's my aunt who will judge me. It's none of your business!"

Hearing this, Aunt Li sneered and said to the police officer beside her: "Have the people arrived?"

The police officer nodded: "They've been here for a long time, waiting outside for your questioning."

After saying that, the door of the meeting room opened, and a serious - looking woman walked in.

As soon as Sophia saw this woman, she regained her confidence, and her eyes lit up immediately:

"Aunt! It's these people. Quickly arrest them all! They're threatening me!"

The woman slapped Sophia so hard that she saw stars and roared: "Shut up, you stupid girl!"

Then she turned to speak to Aunt Li in a humble tone: "Director Li, why have you come?"

As soon as she said this, Sophia was stunned, her face full of disbelief. She stammered and asked:

"Director Li? Which Director Li?"

I looked at her and smiled faintly: "Of course, it's the Director Li of the Provincial Public Security Department, your aunt's superior."

Her face instantly turned deathly pale, and she collapsed weakly on the ground, looking completely desperate.

Aunt Li snorted: "I heard you have a good niece. She's done all kinds of bad things in your name! Why didn't you answer Emily's call when she reported the case? Is this how you do your job as a police officer?"

The woman was sweating profusely and glared at Sophia.

But she still argued: "We've never received this case. I've never known about it."

"It must be the people below who didn't report it! I'll go back and check as soon as I can. As soon as I find out, I'll punish them severely!"

Aunt Li's assistant also walked in with a computer.

Aunt Li gave her a look, and she knew what to do.

The cyber police locked in on the source through a large number of negative posts about me, and the login account of this source was associated with a hidden social media account of Sophia.

This proved that Sophia was the instigator and operator of this cyber - violence.

The cyber police also found a large number of photos in Sophia's phone and computer.

All of them were secretly taken photos of me and my mother by Sophia. She selected and doctored them.

There were also chat records between Sophia and her lackeys.

[Sister Sophia, you've done such a good job of doctoring these photos. It looks like they really have an improper relationship.]

[Sure enough, you're amazing, Sister Sophia. You can turn a lie into the truth.]

[Let's see if I can ruin Emily's reputation this time.]

Not only that, Sophia's lackeys also forwarded the rumor posts in various groups, adding fuel to the fire with extremely vicious words.

[Forward these posts on Twitter and hire more trolls to make them trending.]

[Forward these posts on Facebook and post them in more large groups.]

Seeing these, I felt no waves in my heart. Instead, I found it extremely ironic.

Aunt Li was very angry and kicked Sophia to the ground:

"How could there be such a vicious person like you! She's your classmate, and you did such a thing to slander and spread rumors about her!"

"How did you educate your child! You used your power to protect a criminal. This is dereliction of duty!"

Facing the iron - clad evidence, Sophia looked ashen. She just stammered and argued: "I was just joking with her. It was just a girlish joke."

And her lackeys panicked and blurted out everything: "Don't arrest me. I was just following Sophia's orders."

"Everything was done at Sophia's instigation. I was forced to do it."

"It was Sophia who was jealous of Emily's good grades and said she wanted to ruin her reputation. I was just standing by and watching. I didn't do anything."

Sophia was furious: "Bullshit! Weren't you all very enthusiastic when you cursed Emily? Didn't you take the money when you slandered Emily for stealing the watch?"

"It's all your fault! You just had to go and play that stupid racing game. Now, because of this little bit of money, such a big thing has happened. My dad will kill me."

Now the lackeys didn't support Sophia anymore. When the disaster came, they all ran for their own lives.

When the classmates in the class saw that the situation was serious, they also started to shift all the blame onto Sophia.

It was a complete mess.
