Chapter 11 - Hyacinth's Language

Henry seems a little sad; his facial expression feels like he is about to cry. But then he raised his head and put his hand on his head while putting his face down on the table. He let out a breath with all his emotions, "Damn witch, make my emotions go wild…"

He rubbed his hand on his hair again and again to calm himself down. "Anyway… how will I enter James' soul… Hmm… Éloïse can help…"

He raised his head and stared at the cup of coffee, and then held it to drink it… He takes some sips, and the cup gets empty. He put it down and started thinking about the stuff he was going to do until that young girl came back.

She let out a gentle voice, "Sir, was that all?"

Henry narrowed his eyes toward her and then sighed emotionally, "Oh yeah, that was all… By the way, how much for this one cup of coffee and a tea?"

She nodded then, with a gentle smile on her face, "34 Aurex."

Henry nodded and took out two plastic-covered notes of 20 Aurex and gave them to her. He put it on her hand while standing up. "The remaining is your tip for seeing that old witch again and again, young lady…"

Then Henry, without hearing her, took his step toward the door of the cafe to leave. He opened the door and left the cafe while putting his hands in his pockets. The young girl who took their order kept staring at him in a little shock, and then she went back to her work.

Henry was walking in the main Plaza center, staring at the sky. His eyes landed on the glass roof of the plaza, which was fixed in parts by big iron rods. Wait, the plaza is covered by glass; I never pay attention… Caelvara is more and more beautiful as I explore…

He kept walking until he reached the center of the plaza near the fountain. He stands in front of the fountain and starts staring at the water on the fountain's top. Is it inspired by the Lunévare empire…

He took out his left hand from his pocket, and after sitting down, he put it in water, then he saw something written on the bottom of the fountain. He takes his hand out of the fountain and then touches its surface with his fingertip.

He then put his finger in water, and just like that, his hand got deeper in the water, and then he touched the ground. After touching the ground, he started running his hands over those written words. Though he can't clearly see those words because of the unstable water.

He found out that those words, which were written at the bottom of the fountain, were carved in the ground. So it's possible to touch them and feel what's written at the bottom.

He starts memorizing those words as he feels them with his fingertip. And after some time, he stands up and shakes his hand in the air to clear the water from his hand. What kind of language is this that doesn't feel like Krathic language…

He then turned toward the Maison des Parfums Moreau shop…

In Maison des Parfums Moreau shop…

Éloïse is sitting on the counter's table, closing her legs, her elbow on her lap, and her chin resting on her palm. She feels calm and gives off a vibe like she was waiting for someone to come.

Henry didn't ask or say anything to her; instead, he went to the counter and spoke in a hurry, "Leo, give me a paper and pencil."

Leo looked confused on the side of the counter. But then, instantly, he took out a paper and a pencil from the counter and put them in front of Henry.

Henry grabbed that pencil in his left hand and set the paper, then started writing the words he had memorized on the paper. As he was writing, Éloïse was staring at the paper to find out what he was writing.

Then, as he finished writing, she was completely shocked and stood up from the counter. She put her lace-gloved hand on Henry's hand, and Henry suddenly stared at her with a blushy face. "W—What are you doing…?"

She then pushes his hand aside, "Be aside… You are in the way." Then she grabbed the paper in her hand, leaving Henry confused and flushed completely.

Henry's eyes start burning with anger, and he stares at Éloïse with anger. "Hey, you give it back… It's none of your business."

She didn't pay attention to him but instead started smiling after seeing that language written on paper, "Bingo, I find Hyacinth's language… Hahaha." Then she turned her eyes to Henry while holding her hat in her hand, "Where did you learn this language…"

Henry, who was angry a little while ago, found himself dumb and confused, and then, with an awkward laugh, "Oh that… that language was written on the bottom of the fountain in the main plaza… Do you mean to know what is written in these ancient words…?"

Éloïse Laughed and whispered with a clear and gentle smile, "Nope, I don't. But…" She stopped for a moment and then sat on the counter again. "Hyacinth knows about this… She is, after all, the creator of this language…"

Henry seems completely shocked, and his eyes are wide open as he speaks in a hurry, "Waguri!? Is this language written by Takeda Waguri?"

Éloïse, confused, "Takeda Waguri? Who's Takeda Waguri?" She put her chin on her palm and stared gently but confusedly at Henry.

Henry laughed weirdly, but then he resolved the mess he spoke, "Oh, I mean… Hyacinth."

Éloïse seemed confused, then she asked with interest, "How do you know that witch…?" She was clearly interested in Henry and ready to hear what he was about to say.

Henry seems to be tired and lost, but then he controls himself and speaks with pride in his tone, "Well, she is my mother."

Éloïse and all members who knew Hyacinth seem shocked after hearing Henry. Éloïse stood from the counter again in a hurry and whispered with a shocked voice, "What the fuck… Are you for real…?"

She put her hand on her hat and took it off. Henry scratches his cheek while sweating with awkwardness. "She isn't my biological mother… She just raised me as her son for 7 years, and then she gave me away to the Cathedral of Velgravia."

Éloïse looked shocked as she listened to Henry. She sighed with narrowing eyes, "I'd love to hear your backstory."

Henry looked serious and then bent over the table. "Anyway, I need your help." He put down the pencil on the table under the counter drawer. And after that, he stood up tall and looked into the golden eyes of Éloïse.

Éloïse smiled and put her hat on the table. "Of course I will. But…" she smiled with depth on her face, "But it'll turn out to be helping me…"

Henry smiled with a serious face and whispered, "That's what I'm talking… We both will be using each other."

Éloïse didn't reply but took her hat and went outside the shop while staring back at Henry. Henry remains in the shop.

At midnight, near 11:00 PM in Ordre du Miroir Noir underground base…

In a room of the tavern of Ordre du Miroir Noir, James was bound in ropes on a hanging wall. His clothes were soaked in blood. But he kept smiling, narrowing his eyes around the room. "Hahahaha, well, well, I'm a gold gem for all of humanity… Hahahaha."

The room was empty; only he was in the room, bound in ropes on the wall. He kept smiling until Henry, Éloïse, and some other members of the order entered the room.

As they enter the room, James starts laughing, "Hahahaha… Well, look who it is. Madame Éloïse Moreau. And the royal guard of Princess Amelia Griffith, Henry."

Henry came into the room and then smirked, "You know better than anyone why I came to you. Don't you?"

James kept laughing and didn't answer. Éloïse came in close to him and whispered, "Untie him and then bind him to the chair."

Those members of the order lean in close to James and start untying him until they get bound in blood ropes and their necks get broken by the force of the ropes.

Éloïse, shocked and serious, put her hand in the pouch, which was bound to her clothes near her waist. Henry takes out his gun and is ready to shoot. The air around them gets thicker, and danger approaches both of them to attack.
