Chapter 20 - Drekk Prepares.

The news about the attack didn't travel past the orc territory as they had the advantage of smothering information, so the goblins were at their mercy in more ways than one.

This made whatever got out entirely up to the orcs, which was why Drekk deemed them a threat—no one should have this much power.

This must also be why they allowed them to occupy this territory in the first place, because goblins were closer in biological makeup to them than any other species out there.

They had to find a way to keep them under their thumbs, but Drekk knew this could potentially be a problem long-term.

Drekk walked out of the building that held him, one unlike the rest of the mines in the sense that it was still standing.

But this site had no mines or workers in that sense, as these goblins were training.

It looked a lot more like a military camp, as each goblin was bestowed a weapon to wield even though it was composed of stone.

Drekk was the only one with a metal weapon despite its deplorable state. It was a sign of his authority, and only the strongest of goblins were accepted into this place.

Drekk was glad this happened because it would show the rest of the goblins they weren't safe just because they decided to cower in a corner and stick their tongues out to lick anyone's buttocks they could find.

Drekk understood the repercussions of this, but he had to wait for orders from the Goblin King before doing anything. Still, he had his goblins watch over their parameters.

Drekk could now push them further—he had that right due to the developing situation.

He had assigned some of his strongest goblins to watch their border, not that the orcs recognized it, as they saw it as their own territory.

A goblin walked in. The goblins in this place were different in the sense that they spoke in full sentences.

"Any news?" Drekk asked, but the goblin shook its head. This goblin was missing its right eye, with a scar across it.

"I am afraid not, but it looks like there is an orc sighting in our territory," the goblin responded.

"An orc sighting?" Drekk was confused, because he should have known about this since he had goblins watching their parameters.

"Yes, boss," the goblin responded, but Drekk didn't look bothered by this.

"It looks like the orcs have found other ways to enter our territory without being spotted," Drekk pointed out.

This could easily translate to an act of war, but Drekk knew his warriors stood no chance against an orc army.

However, things would be different if they could capture the orc that had carelessly wandered into their territory.

That would show the orcs that they wouldn't just lay down and get screwed over.

"Trogzit, where is this orc?" Drekk questioned.

"It appears it has arrived where Murkfang and Gribnox are, boss," Trogzit responded, but this drew a suspicious brow from Drekk.

First, they kept the promotion under wraps, but this was a bit too suspicious—even he could put it together.

"I see," was all Drekk said, but these words were laced with disgust.

Murkfang and Gribnox knew they couldn't deal with this orc lightly, because there had been an attack on one of the mines under their control.

This couldn't be allowed to stand, but the advantage of leaving no casualties meant there were eyewitnesses.

And they all said the same thing—it was an orc responsible for that assault on their mines. And now, one had conveniently appeared here.

Borg had requested to meet this goblin. He had a feeling it was the same one the whores spoke about.

Murkfang was skeptical, but Gribnox had no problems showing Byung off. He went from disliking Byung to loving him in less than twenty-four hours.

Byung joined them, and Borg just stared at him. He didn't look any different from the other goblins physically, except for his slightly longer ears.

"You're Byung?" Borg asked, because what he was looking at wasn't all that impressive.

If anything, Byung had a body just like the others—small and puny.

There was nothing impressive about this goblin physically.

"Yes, I Byung," Byung responded, but this was Byung's first time with a male orc ever since his birth.

"Are you the one with the high-quality semen?" Borg questioned right away, but Byung had no idea what to say regarding this.

He didn't want Murkfang or Gribnox to know about this either, which was why he made no comment.

Even though Murkfang already suspected he had done something right for the orcs to entertain him for that long, never did he consider the quality of his semen being a factor.

"That is enough. Leave now, we don't want any trouble," Murkfang interrupted, effectively ending that conversation.

"You're yet to listen to my proposal," Borg's voice was sterner than before.

"We are not interested in whatever it is you have to offer," Murkfang said, but Gribnox quickly added with a whisper.

"... Except a woman."

"I know about your settlement which was attacked," Borg said, and the second he did, both Gribnox and Murkfang tensed up.

"I know because one of our orcs has gone rogue," Borg quickly added upon noticing their body language.

"Do I have your attention now?" Borg questioned with a smirk.
