Chapter 75 - Chapter 75: Probing

After observing for a while, Uchiha Yato confirmed that Shimura Danzo currently couldn't use Susanoo.

Who knew whether Uchiha Madara had methods to let others activate Susanoo?

Uchiha Yato then ended Tom Cat's probing of the black-clad man.

He directly activated his own Susanoo.

A massive skeletal framework rose from the ground.

The imposing aura was indeed awe-inspiring, but since everyone present was extraordinary, the intimidation effect was limited.

Uchiha Madara now genuinely felt the urge to go to the scene and fight Uchiha Yato at his peak strength.

But he knew this was just an impossible dream.

Even if he could go fight Uchiha Yato, his aged body wouldn't allow for such vigorous activity. If you really want to fight Uchiha Yato, this might truly be the last dance.

At that moment, Uchiha Yato's voice rang out.

"Since you claim to be Lord Madara, why don't you summon a Gundam? Let me see."

Although Uchiha Madara didn't understand what Yato meant by "Gundam,"

he still argued firmly, "Your strength isn't worthy of me using Susanoo against you. I'm only here today to test your abilities."

Truth be told, Uchiha Yato was genuinely amused by Madara's current attitude.

The older one gets, the more stubborn they become—always trying to glorify themselves.

Yato wasn't fond of such awkward exchanges either, and he carried his own pride.

"Enough talk," Yato declared. "Take these two strikes first!"

The massive, ash-white skeleton, which had been standing motionless, suddenly stirred.

Its hollow eye sockets seemed to flicker with an eerie glow, sending chills down the spine.

Even more astonishing, the Susanoo now wielded a gleaming longsword, its blade radiating a cold, menacing aura.

In the blink of an eye, the Susanoo swung the sword with thunderous force, slashing down toward the black-clad figure.

The blade cut through the air like lightning, unleashing a fierce gale that howled as it surged forward.

The surrounding air seemed to tear apart from the strike, producing a sharp, whistling sound.

This was the true demeanor of the Uchiha Clan—confident and full of vigor.

Madara couldn't help but admire this side of Yato—capable and proud.

He was more than willing to engage in a playful exchange with Yato using his agility.

Though somewhat affected, Yato didn't slow time too drastically.

Otherwise, the strain on himself would be immense.

After a fierce exchange, Yato leaped back, preparing to unleash a Fire Release technique.

Just then, the black-clad figure spoke up.

"I have to admit, kid, you've got skill."

"But your swordsmanship is terrible—like you've never trained at all. Just wild slashing."

This was indeed one of Yato's weaknesses.

The Uchiha Clan had master swordsmen, but no one had taught him how to wield a sword while piloting a "Gundam."

Yato wasn't about to concede verbally.

"Don't worry about it. I'm still young—plenty of time to refine my skills."

This remark was a veiled jab at Shimura Danzo, though the primary control now lay with Madara.

It irked Madara slightly, but since Yato's words held truth, he had no solid rebuttal.

Madara's plan this time was simple: if possible, beat Yato into submission, reveal his grand ambitions, and then turn him into a pawn.

But clearly, Yato's growth had been rapid—he could already hold his own against Madara's puppet in an 80-20 split.

Shimura Danzo would've cursed: "Thanks a lot, Madara, you bastard!"

At this point, Madara was already considering retreat.

This was just a test, after all. He didn't want his relationship with Yato to sour completely. Moreover, the previous skirmish had already made the people of Sunagakure somewhat alert.

If they got entangled with those small fry again, things would become troublesome.

The black-clad man spoke, "Your skills aren't quite there yet. Train harder."

"I'll come for your life next time when you can actually defeat me."

"Consider this a lesson for now."

Uchiha Madara's plan was to exhaust Shimura Danzo's Chakra, unleash a large-scale Ninjutsu, and then have Black Zetsu escape with the unconscious Shimura Danzo.

Having followed Uchiha Madara for years, Black Zetsu understood his intentions and decided to lend a hand.

Immediately, he summoned numerous White Zetsu clones lurking nearby to cause interference.

A fierce gale erupted around the black-clad man, lifting him off the ground as it gathered immense power.

The black-clad man's fingers danced rapidly, signaling the preparation of a formidable Ninjutsu.

"Wind Release: Great Wind Rising."

A colossal, sky-obscuring Tornado surged forth like a raging dragon, barreling toward Uchiha Yato with unstoppable force!

Wherever the Tornado passed, sand and stones flew, and howling winds threatened to tear the world apart.

Carrying boundless destructive power, it lunged at Uchiha Yato, as if determined to devour him whole.

Coupled with the interference from the White Zetsu clones, Uchiha Yato found himself momentarily in a tight spot.

Using Fire Release risked the flames being blown back by the wind, harming himself.

But not using Ninjutsu might allow the black-clad man to escape.

This piqued Uchiha Yato's interest.

He muttered to himself, "Do you really think I only know Fire Release?"

Reacting swiftly, Uchiha Yato completed his hand seals and slammed his palms on the ground. "Earth Release: Wall of Cat Heads."

A massive, mountain-like earthen wall abruptly erupted from the ground!

The wall towered into the clouds, as if a behemoth had emerged from the depths.

Even more astonishing, the wall was intricately carved with countless cat motifs, some alert, others mocking.

Yet, this seemingly whimsical wall displayed astonishing resilience.

The violent collision between wind and wall distorted the surrounding air, producing deafening roars.

But no matter how fiercely the Tornado struck, the wall remained unshaken, the cat carvings still vivid—even appearing more lively under the gale.

When the assault finally ended, only the mocking feline expressions remained, adding a touch of absurdity.

Uchiha Yato felt this wasn't enough.

He had to hit them harder!

"Drown in the genjutsu of the Mangekyo Sharingan!"

Uchiha Madara knew full well that if he fell under Uchiha Yato's genjutsu now, he would lose control of Shimura Danzo.

That would mean utter defeat—something he could never allow.

So, Uchiha Madara issued an order to Black Zetsu.

"You take this one—Uchiha Yato's genjutsu!"
