I had not seen Donald since the previous day after Cassandra's accident, and I knew that if I stayed away from him for so long, she might feed him with the truth and would make him turn against me, which was why I needed to come in as quickly as possible to make my story straight.
When I got into the mansion, I noticed that Donald was not in, and for some reason the house was completely empty. I walked up to the apartment where Cassie stayed, but it was empty as well, and I wondered where he might have taken her.
