Ha-Joon Just got ready for bed.
But then he heard something, that sound again, faint soft almost melodic ''Uncover the power'' he bolted from his bed, puts his sweater on, grabs a flashlight, and went to the attic above his room.
The more he stepped closer the more the sound became clear, ''Uncover the power'' then he saw it again, a soft glow coming through the attic hatch. Heart hammering Dotes motes sound in the narrow beam until he spotted it-the brown Book.
He open the chapter headed The world full of magic: Nightmire

After taking the book, Ha-Joon returned back to his room.
Moonlight seeps through the window, casting shadows on the wall. Ha-Joon settles on his bead legs crossed, and he let's out a deep sigh.
He flips the book open and a faint musty smell of aged papers drift upward

Ha-Joon's alarm rang at 6:30. He swung his legs out of bed washed his face, brushed his teeth.
Next he puts on his uniform- White T-shirt and black trousers and belt, he combed his grey hair.... puts on lip balm ( to moisturize the lips) and polished his shoe till they shone.
Once he was dressed, he slipped the brown book into his backpack ''I'll show Joy this book I found'' Ha-Joon said with a grin '' she'll be thrilled, I must show her''
He headed downstairs for breakfast. The kitchen felt strangely quiet and everyone was half asleep. Everything's strange.
Min-Ju lay face-first on his pancakes, his black hair covering his eyes, Beside him Ji-Woo sat slouched, starring at her phone blinking so hard to stay awake. Across her Mr. Kim leaned back in his chair, arm crossed, eyes shut.
Mrs. Kim stood over the stove and yawned flipping eggs.
Ha-Joon slid into his stool, he blinked confuse a couple of time, before starring at them in disbelief.
''Why is everyone so tired...?'' he asked.
''Didn't you all sleep last night...'' he added.
Mrs. Kim shrugged smiling and said '' We're all just tired''
'' I stayed up late at night... watching a movie'' Ji-Woo said making up excuses.
Ha-Joon's eyes narrowed '' That does not mean all of you watched the movie yesterday without, you never do that''
''Were you all out somewhere or something?'' Ha-Joon added his suspicion rising.
Mr. Kim and Mrs. Kim shared glances, while Ji-Woo forced a laugh, Min-Ju peeked through his hair not Dearing to get up.
'' I asked you guys a question''
Then Ji-Woo quickly changed the topic '' Ahh.. Ha-Joon-ah didn't you say you were going to Joy's house? It's getting late.''
Ha-Joon blinked '' oh right- I forgot thank you for reminding me''
He stood up, leaned down and gave Ji-Woo a peck on the cheek, then to Mrs. Kim. He turned to his father, but Mr. Kim glared at him but then smiled.
Min-Ju didn't eve stir, he stayed lay face down on his pancake, hair slapped over his pancakes, pretending to be asleep.
When Ha-Joon leaned in for that quick cheek kiss Min-Ju let out a soft theatrical snore as if saying ''back off'' just loud enough for Ha-Joon to move back.
''Stupid Min-Ju...''
''Ha-Joon-ah don't worry . Ji-Woo is always there for you'' Ji-Woo said smiling.
''Oh yes that's why I will always say I love you..'' Ha-Joon replied and they let out a laugh.
Ha-Joon glanced back to Min-Ju and shook his head '' Good bye everyone'' He said swung his backpack on his back and made his way outside.
Mrs. Kim sighed as they watch him skip outside. They turned to each other and sighed.
''That was close... I don't know why they called us yesterday'' Mrs. Kim said and Ji-Woo nodded.
''You can stop pretending to be asleep now Min-Ju'' Ji-Woo said patting his back and he groans.
''Leave me...''
'' we have to be careful..'' Mr. Kim said his voice cold and rough.
'' Yes we have to be...'' Min- Ju said and they all nodded.
