On a rainy night, Lainy was walking home after her late-night tuition class.
It was a dark and stormy evening, and she had just moved into this neighborhood, unfamiliar with its secrets.
The most terrifying thing she didn't know was the legend of the "Black Vampires."
A group of mysterious beings, they only came out in the moonlight — and no one dared to step outside after dark.
As she crossed a lonely bridge, she heard a soft whimper. A puppy, small and shivering, lay in pain.
Without thinking, she ran to it and held it in her arms.
Little did she know, this would be the moment her life changed forever.
Suddenly, a group of strange, pale people appeared in front of her.
They had glowing eyes, sharp teeth, and hauntingly beautiful faces.
She froze. Her heart pounded.
Terrified, she asked,
"Who are you? Ugly-looking cartoons?"
(Okay... maybe sarcasm wasn't her best weapon.)
They didn't answer. Their leader hadn't arrived yet.
One vampire stepped forward, baring his teeth — blood dripping from his fangs.
She was scared. Deep inside, shaking. But she stood tall and said,
"This isn't a play. Remove your weird makeup and costumes. It's not Halloween yet."
That made them angry.
The group growled and moved closer.
They were just about to bite her when—
He arrived.
The ground trembled.
The clouds shifted.
The real boss.
The vampire king.
His name: Mathew, but everyone called him R.K. — the Real King.
He raised his hand and summoned a glowing barrier between Lainy and the other vampires.
He looked straight into her eyes and asked:
"Little girl… Are you stolen?"
She blinked in confusion.
"No! I was just going home. I saw a puppy, so I stopped to save it…"
He nodded. "That's… surprisingly touching. But tell me — who will save you now?"
The other vampires laughed.
Lainy's bravery cracked. She got scared. Really scared. Her eyes welled up.
As her first tear hit the ground—
A whisper echoed.
A black mist came out of R.K.'s car.
He raised his hand, and everything stopped.
The other vampires stepped back.
Lainy turned to run, but one of the vampires held her wrist.
The Real King stepped forward.
He leaned down and whispered in her ear:
"Little girl… don't come back here again. Or you'll face something worse than death."
