"No, no, I can't do it."
Faced with Nawaki's plea, "Tsunade" burst into tears, her anguish and inner turmoil plain to see in her eyes.
Everyone present was moved by her performance. Even Anya praised Xiao Xue's acting skills—she clearly had the talent to be a rising star.
"If you can't do it, then quickly issue the order to withdraw the Konoha ninjas. I promise, as long as they leave the battlefield, I'll spare your younger brother's life." The crazed ninja who had found salvation for his team began calming down.
Tsunade raised her right hand shakily. All eyes were on her—just one downward sweep of her arm could stop the fighting and even save her only younger brother.
"Let go already."
"That's right, give the order."
"There's no need to keep fighting. Saving your brother is more important."
Even the audience in the stands couldn't help but shout these words aloud.
"Sister... no!" Suddenly Nawaki shouted, "You'll always be my dearest sister. My dream has always been to become Hokage, but now I see I won't achieve that. Konoha has fought so hard to win this battle—how could I let it all be for nothing just for me? I was meant to become a hero of Konoha—I won't let my death be the reason it falls into disgrace!"
After saying this, a burning seal appeared in Nawaki's hands. At first glance, it was unmistakably an Explosive Tag.
Tsunade cried out in horror, "Nawaki, don't!"
"Boom... boom..."
With a deafening boom, Nawaki and the Burly Man were engulfed in the explosion. Blood rained through the sky, and Tsunade screamed in agony, as the battle erupted into chaos.
A long silence hung over the scene. Audience members wiped their tears, clearly moved by the tragedy. No wonder The Fifth had such a painful past.
Shortly after his grandfather's fatal battle with Madara, both his parents had died too—and now his only sibling had fallen on the battlefield. Looking at it this way, every family member he'd ever had had died for Konoha, leaving him completely alone.
On the raised platform, Tsunade could no longer bear watching the final scene. Sobbing uncontrollably, she threw herself into Anya's arms, pounding his chest, "Why did you have to film this? You're ripping open my heart and making me relive the pain!"
Anya gently patted her back, comforting her. "I didn't know much about Nawaki, but I know his dream was becoming Hokage, a hero of Konoha. He shouldn't be forgotten. Now you've inherited his will and become Hokage yourself—who could be more fitting than you? Believe me, if he really saw this moment, he would feel proud and cheer for you."
Tsunade stared dazedly at Anya and asked softly, "Do you really think so?"
"Yes. Besides," he whispered softly, gently wiping away her tears before pressing a tender kiss to her lips, "you're not alone anymore. You have me, and our beautiful daughter, Hakuto—our future together. This pain from the past holds hope for tomorrow—it makes us cherish what we have today. Believe me, our future will be brighter."
Tsunade showed a soft and vulnerable side for the first time. Hearing Anya's words, she hugged Yugao's neck and curled up in his arms, quietly watching the stage play unfold.
Behind them, Yugao's eyes revealed a hint of envy beneath her mask. Boss, you're truly amazing—even I was moved just watching, let alone Tsunade who was right in the middle of it.
Still grieving her brother's death, Tsunade had no time to mourn before quickly taking command of her unit in battle. With the battlefield situation heavily favoring Konoha, the war tipped decisively in their favor, ending with Konoha's victory.
As the Konoha ninja exited the stage, four shinobi wearing different Kage hats appeared in the center of the arena. Looking closer, they were actually the other Four Kage from the allied nations.
The Mizukage spoke first: "Konoha is too strong. No single nation can defeat them alone."
The Tsuchikage proposed, "Then we should unite."
The Kazekage agreed, "I support this."
The Raikage clapped his hands together, "Great! Let's form the Four-Nation Coalition and destroy Konoha. We'll name it Hurricane Operation. Let us blow through Konoha like a storm scattering fallen leaves!"
The audience gasped in shock at this scene—"Heavens! Tell me I'm not seeing things wrong—Four Nations united?"
"Is this real? During the Third Battle, our Konoha faced an invasion by the four great nations?"
"That can't be true. This must be just some made-up nonsense from the play. If such a coalition really existed, Konoha would've been wiped out long ago during the Third Battle."
"Don't be so sure. Don't forget, there used to be [Mount Hakuto (Konoha's Sacred Protector)] protecting Konoha—it's gone now."
"Yeah, that place is now called the Deadly Poison Valley. Could it be...?"
"Ah, stop guessing already. Just sit back and enjoy. The Third Battle happened over ten years ago. So many details have been forgotten. Anyway, I remember that the Five Kage Summit eventually brought peace and ended the Third Battle."
After the Four Kage finished discussing, Shizune's voice rang out as narrator: "Act Five: Ending the Third Battle."
Below, the Director grew nervous because from this moment on, it would be a full-scale display of Konoha's power—but the performers entering the stage now were untrained shinobi, the ones Anya had insisted on including.
From the very beginning of the play, these shinobi had been scattered around the venue, completely surrounded by blackout curtains. They saw nothing, heard nothing, and didn't even understand the purpose of their protective gear.
Shikamaru even dozed off.
The Director hurriedly urged Tenzo, "Come on, start setting up the stage. Just simply recreate some buildings in front of Konoha's Main Gate."
"Simple?" Is that all?
Tenzo grumbled unhappily. With countless structures around Konoha's gate and only limited chakra left, replicating even just the main gate was already pushing his limits.
"Don't worry. I'll help you."
A familiar voice echoed inside Tenzo's mind.
Startled, Tenzo remembered the sudden burst of chakra from earlier. Clapping his hands together, he began forming hand seals.
With Anya's chakra boosting him, a brand-new Konoha Main Gate suddenly materialized right at the center of the stage.
As the gate completed its formation, the previous Four Kage instantly appeared at the location.
Samiu, wearing the Raikage's hat, stepped forward and declared, "From today on, I will personally flatten every inch of Konoha land."
Gaara, disguised as the Kazekage, hovered in midair, gathering sand around him. "I shall be the one to send you to your grave."
Kankuro, playing the role of the Tsuchikage, coughed a couple of times, cleared his throat, and bellowed, "Today, you leaf ninja will learn the true meaning of fear!"
Temari pretended to be the Mizukage. Muttering under her breath, "Why do we always have to be the bad guys? Just because we're not from Konoha…" she sighed before obediently delivering her line: "After today, Konoha will become nothing more than history."
Tsunade stood alone before the great gate of Konoha, as mighty as a war deity. "Over my dead body!" she roared. "The ninja of Konoha will lay down our lives to defend our homeland — we shall never retreat, and we will crush every invader who dares attack."
