Larissa's POV
It was quite a boring morning for me. There was absolutely nothing to do and all I did was sit there by the window, staring out at the field..
Memories of the night before had my body rushing with shivers of fear and relief. We were so close to getting caught.
It made me wonder if it was something I would like to do again, sneak out to meet my kids…
I knew that I couldn't do that very often, it was a very risky thing to do currently.
I got a message from Joanna that members of the court were going to testify regarding who tried to poison me.
I was quite sure they would all point fingers at Lady Evelyn but a part of me knows that she would sneak her way out of this again like she always does!
I took a deep sign as the door swung open and Joanna stepped into the room.
'My lady, the court is ready. We should be on our way."
"Joanna, do you really think that lady Evelyn would get out of this?"
Joannes nodded her head in reply, just the answer I was expecting.
