Chapter 2 - chapter 1: The Mistake of Heave

Before the heavens were built… before the fires of Hell were lit…

God created something far more sacred: the soul.

Each soul had its place — some meant to rise into light, others to sink into shadow. Balance was perfect. Until…

One soul was born in the wrong place.

A light… born in Hell.

They called him Shin.

Even the flames knew he did not belong.

Even the shadows whispered: "This is not one of us."

His heart was warm. His eyes glowed with purity. And every creature in the Pit mocked him for it.

"You were meant for Heaven, Shin! What are you doing down here?"

"Even the fire avoids you!"

"Your soul is too clean… you're broken."

Shin grew in silence. He hid his pain. But deep inside, the question burned hotter than the fires around him:

"Is there really… a place called Heaven?"

And one day, the voice of God answered:

"Yes. But you were not placed there."

"You were born in Hell… and this is where your feet stand."

"Then why… do I feel different?" Shin asked.

"Why does everything in me scream that I don't belong here?"

God was silent for a moment that felt like eternity. Then, a path was offered.

"If you truly believe you are not of this world, then prove it."

"There is a place between Heaven and Hell — the Spirit Realm."

"You will be sent there."

"But once you arrive, you will forget everything."

"You will not remember Hell, or this conversation."

"You will not remember who you are."

"If the light inside you is real… it will shine even in darkness."

"And if you prove your worth… you will be raised to Heaven."

"But if you fail… you will return to where you came from."

Shin stood alone in the black winds of Hell.

His heart beat like a forgotten drum.

He looked up — into the nothingness — and nodded.

He accepted the trial.

And with that, the gate opened.

Light unlike anything Hell had ever seen burst forth — not to destroy, but to send.

And Shin… was lifted.

Not fallen. Not escaping. But chosen.

He was sent to the Spirit Realm — with no memory, no identity, and no promise… except one:

"Prove yourself… and your destiny will be yours."

To be continued…
