Chapter 3 - 3 I DON'T WANT HER

BRANDON SALVATORE

Kingpin and Amaya are locked in a kiss that they don't notice my arrival, I clear my throat, not once, twice and they break, looking up at me.

"Why are you interrupting me?" Kingpin ask.

"I need to have a word with you," I say.

"It can wait, I'm in the middle of something," he says and wants to continue the kiss.

"Unless you want to continue whatever you were doing outside the gates, you might want to reconsider coming with me. I'm not asking neither am I patient."

He exhale, of course I mean it, I'd make him stay outside. "Excuse me," he says to her and stands, glaring at me. I lead the way and next, we're outside.

"What?" He ask.

"Amaya, why did you bring her here?"

"Are you serious? No one said anything about not bringing a guest."

I scoff. "I don't like the idea that she's staying here. Book a hotel, you're equal to the task and have the money, take her there, I don't want her here."

Kingpin folds his hands. "Are you serious? We've not seen each other in years and this is the first thing you tell me?"

"I'm not going to change my mind."

"Bullshit!" He snaps and pushes my shoulder. "What the hell is your problem? What are you so afraid of?"

"Annie! My fucking sister. I'm afraid of she getting involved in this shit, our shit. Get your act together and come up with a plan, I won't have you endanger my sister."

"Screw you, if Franklin says I stay, I'm staying."

"Leave my father out of this," I say.

"Fuck you!" He snaps and turns, walking away. I exhale when he's gone. I just don't want any trouble. Amaya is trouble, I can feel it.

I walk into the house and head for Annie's room, as I open the door, Amaya is seated beside her, they're talking.

"Hi," Annie waves at me and I fake a smile. "It's time for you to rest, Annie. Leave Amaya," I say.

Amaya raises a brow. "Seriously?" She ask. "You're just going to order me out like that?"

"My sister needs to rest."

"Your sister isn't a kid and can speak for herself."

I frown, she would manipulate Annie, she was a bad influence. "I said leave, now!"

"Or what?" She stands and Annie exchange a confused look between us. "What are you going to do? I'm sure you're aware who my father is, he'll kill you if you try anything funny, he'll wipe your entire family and linage, you know what he's capable of."

I nod, was she threatening me. "Leave or I'll drag you out."

Her eyes widen. "Do it, I dare you!"

"Stop!" Annie stands to her feet. "You don't have to be so worried about me, Brandon. I'm not a child anymore. Amaya and I were just talking, but since you think she should leave, you should ask politely."

I take a step inside, glaring at Amaya. "Get the fuck out of Annie's room."

"Bastard!" She curses and rushes at me, trying to attack me but I hold her in place, force her down on her kneels and glare down at her.

"You're nothing, Amaya. You'll be leaving by morning with Kingpin, you'll get out of our lives, because a whore like you is bad influence for Annie."

"Brandon!" Annie walks up to me and pulls me back, standing between I and Amaya. "You shouldn't have said that, it's unfair how you treat women, even my friends complain. I'm not a child who needs to be monitored, stop trying to control my life," she points at the door. "Leave, get out."

"Not without Amaya," I say and she raises a brow. I mean it and she knows it isn't a fight she'll win. She turns to Amaya and whispers that she should leave.

Amaya glares at me. "You'll regret this, I swear you will." With that, she walks pass me, quacking my shoulder.

I look at Annie, she's avoiding my gaze. "I think you should leave, I do not want to talk to you."

I nod. "I'm just taking precautions."

"Fuck you!" She spat and I won't lie, I'm taken aback, Annie never curses at me, she loves me, so much and I know it. "And your precautions," she adds and walks to her bed. "Get out of my room, now!"

What has come over my sister? She always trust me to handle everything, she believes I won't cause any trouble but here she was, angry, pissed and even ordering me out of her room. I exhale and turn to the door, walking out and closing the door behind me.

I grab a bottle of whiskey and head to the balcony, I'm supposed to be alone and yes I was until Franklin showed up, I thought he wanted to talk but I was wrong. His fist shot out, colliding squarely against my jaw.
