Doma walked leisurely through the moonlit town, the black cloak behind him dancing in the wind, making him look as if he were about to break into a dance. While playing with his bamboo dragonfly with great interest, he was conversing with Akaza in his mind.
In the mountains far away, Akaza was diligently punching trees in the forest as part of his daily routine. Upon hearing the message, his expression didn't change at all, his pace and movements remained steady, and he only replied with a faint "Mm." After sadly getting used to Doma's occasional antics, he felt it was no big deal, and his mind no longer fluctuated.
"Oh my, it seems Lord Akaza has been doing well? That's so reassuring."
"Have you missed me lately, Lord Akaza?" Doma jumped up and snatched the bamboo dragonfly that was about to fly away, smiling without a care.
"Mm," Akaza still replied briefly. He found that dealing with Doma wasn't as difficult as he had imagined. Just a few perfunctory "mm-hmms" and "ahs" could keep this guy giggling for a long time.
