Watching the brother and sister disappear, Doma tossed the violin in his hand up and down, thinking about what to do next. The night was still young. "Boo—I really want to find someone to play with." Doma pouted slightly and decided to go chat with Miss Nakime.
Having made up his mind, he showed an innocent smile again and walked towards the center of the Infinity Castle with light steps. The corridor under his feet began to move rapidly, and the surrounding rooms shifted like building blocks, taking him further and further away from where Nakime was.
Doma tilted his head in confusion, then showed an interested expression. "Is Miss Nakime trying to play a game with me? Ah, this is getting more and more interesting."
"This is the first time Miss Nakime has actively played a game with me. It seems she's become more lively and cheerful under my influence!"
"My efforts all this time have been useful. It's so moving~" Doma wiped away a non-existent tear from the corner of his eye and began to run and jump enthusiastically along the corridors, stairs, and wooden platforms of the Infinity Castle. It feels like a high-class game of hopscotch!
His carefree laughter echoed around, lingering for a long time. But halfway through the game, the movement of the buildings suddenly stopped. Doma paused, looked around in confusion, and his sharp eyes spotted a familiar figure faintly behind a distant window.
Purple clothes, crimson hair, the posture of a noble lady...

"Wow, it's Lord Kokushibo!" Doma's rainbow eyes instantly bloomed with a brilliant light. "Ah—is Lord Kokushibo actually in the Infinity Castle tonight?"
"This is so delightful!"
"Did Miss Nakime send me here on purpose? How thoughtful~ It seems I'll have to be more concerned about her in the future." Doma immediately changed direction and walked towards Kokushibo's location.
"Lord Kokushibo said I am his important comrade and that I should visit him often so he would be willing to become good friends with me," Doma thought. "It's just a pity that Lord Kokushibo has been very busy before, so I couldn't see him." He sighed with a dejected expression, then immediately perked up. "Is it finally time now? I'm so excited~"
Kokushibo, of course, had a residence in the Infinity Castle. It was an ancient-style mansion, surrounded by a wide, flat area with many black cylindrical pillars. Doma passed between the towering pillars and knocked on the door of the mansion.
A moment later, the door opened silently, and a winding wooden path appeared, leading him to a room. "Lord Kokushibo, pardon the intrusion. It's Doma~" Doma said cheerfully.
"Enter," a deep and serious voice came from within.
Doma pushed the door open and saw Kokushibo sitting with a dignified posture beside a Go board, his sword, with its eye-covered hilt, placed flat beside him. "You are here... for what purpose?" Kokushibo looked up at Doma, his six eyes unblinking, majestic and solemn.
"To visit you, of course, Lord Kokushibo~" Doma smiled, his eyes curving. "I haven't had time to properly get to know and communicate with Lord Kokushibo, which is a great regret." He looked down at the Go board. The black and white stones were scattered across it, having already filled more than half of the board. "Huh? Is Lord Kokushibo playing Go? By yourself?"
Kokushibo didn't speak, just nodded slightly.
"How about I play with you?" Doma clapped his hands and asked with an expectant expression.
Kokushibo was silent for a moment, then said, "You may." Although he disliked Doma's casual and spontaneous attitude, a guest was a guest, and he should maintain proper etiquette and grace.
Doma chuckled and sat cross-legged opposite Kokushibo. Meeting the other's direct stare, he blinked his eyes innocently, then adjusted his posture to a proper kneeling position. Oh my, Lord Kokushibo values etiquette very much. I'll have to pay attention in the future~
Paying attention to every detail and being good at self-reflection is the only way to become good friends with everyone! Doma nodded in confirmation. He had always been this kind of person, which was why he was so well-liked now.
They cleared the stones from the board and started a new game. For a time, both were silent for a long while. Mmm, it's rude to talk while playing Go~
Kokushibo placed his stones very slowly, often needing a long time to think, just like his cautious and steady way of speaking. He sat as still as a stone statue; even the high ponytail behind his head didn't move an inch. Doma, on the other hand, played very quickly, basically needing no extra time to think. In fact, his Go skills were not bad at all. With each move, he had already thought several steps ahead, thanks to his clever brain that was good at calculation and strategy.
However, his ideas were very wild and unrestrained. Unexpected ideas would often pop up, and then he would grandly change his mind, ultimately leading to disastrous consequences... In short, playing Go with Doma was an ordeal.
This was what Kokushibo was thinking right now. Although their Go skills were not far apart, and it was a match of equals, the beginning was always good, but the ending was often maddening.
For example, when Doma had the advantage, completely arousing Kokushibo's competitive spirit and making his brain work at high speed to lay out a meticulous strategy, ready to turn the tide—Doma would suddenly have a stupid idea, abandon his previous great advantage, and start making a series of blunders. Then, before Kokushibo could even exert his strength, Doma would have played himself to death.
Kokushibo: ...
Another example: when Kokushibo was about to complete his net-like layout, feeling the excitement of an impending victory, and eagerly looking forward to cornering his opponent—Doma's brain would suddenly leave the building. His moves would become abstract and incomprehensible. Then, before Kokushibo could even finish his setup, Doma would have killed himself again with lightning speed.
Kokushibo: ...
Although sometimes Doma would have a flash of inspiration, come up with a bizarre strategy, and suddenly unleash his power before his formation was even set, crushing his opponent... that in itself was not a very interesting situation. To be leisurely placing your stones, calmly thinking about how to lay out the game, and then suddenly have your opponent turn into a mad dog and steamroll you...
Kokushibo: ...
He couldn't sit still anymore. He couldn't play this game for another moment. He had thought that nothing could move him anymore, but his centuries of self-cultivation were so easily broken. But... watching Doma enthusiastically start a new game, Kokushibo fell silent. A guest is a guest, and should be treated with respect... One must finish a game of Go from beginning to end. Leaving in the middle... is a very rude act.
Thinking this, he slowly picked up a stone and placed it on the board.
Kokushibo was angry, but he didn't show it. On the surface, he was still solemn and calm, his posture unshakeable.
"As expected of Lord Kokushibo. Calm and steady, a very reliable person," Doma thought. He, on the other hand, was finding it hard to hold back.
I want to talk!
Feeling wronged...
