Chapter 8 - Chapter 9 – Girls Don’t Like White-Haired Curly Guys

[Su Xiaoqi: Zhuqing, I appreciate the gesture, but you really don't have to do this. I honestly didn't do that much.]

Su Xiaoqi had no problem accepting points from Lu Linglong and Nami — he gave them advice, they gave him part of the reward, fair exchange.

But Zhu Zhuqing's reaction actually startled him. He didn't think that what he said to her earlier was worth *that* many points. If he accepted it, the others in the group might start viewing him in a strange way.

It was like he was operating an excavator and suddenly unearthed something extremely valuable — sure, it could make him rich overnight, but he didn't dare take it. After all, he was a professional and ethical excavator operator.

**\[Gintoki Sakata: Zhuqing, Gin-san doesn't mind at all. I *love* freeloading off beautiful girls.]**

**\[Zhu Zhuqing: I hate white-haired guys with curly hair.]**

**\[Gintoki Sakata: Hey, hey, hey! Do you all have something against curly hair? Damn it!]**

**\[Nami: We don't mind curly hair. We *do* mind sleazy, white-haired perverts.]**

**\[Lu Linglong: Nami's right. It's your fault for constantly making dirty jokes.]**

**\[Gintoki Sakata: *Kisama*! Gin-san calls that humor. Don't you get it? Humor!]**

**\[Zhu Zhuqing: Su Xiaoqi, what you said earlier meant a lot to me. Honestly, it's no exaggeration to say it gave me a new lease on life. Just treating you to a meal isn't nearly enough to repay you. Other than points, I don't really have anything else to offer.]**

**\[Gintoki Sakata: No, no, no! Gin-san thinks you *could* give yourself to him. After all, he has Saiyan blood. Your kids would be super strong!]**

**\[Lu Linglong: Are Saiyan kids really that powerful?]**

**\[Gintoki Sakata: Of course! Especially when mixed with Earthling blood. You'll see when you watch *Dragon Ball Z*. Gin-san is so jealous. *Kisama*…]**

**\[Su Xiaoqi: Gin-san, can you not make trouble for once?]**

**\[Su Xiaoqi: @Zhu Zhuqing, don't listen to that curly-haired idiot. How about this: If you really want to thank me, forget about the points. Could you do me a favor instead?]**

**\[Zhu Zhuqing: Of course. Just tell me — as long as it's something I can do, I will.]**

**\[Su Xiaoqi: Can you go to your local blacksmith and have them make me a set of weighted wrist and ankle bands? Let's say 10 kg each. I'm just starting my training, so I'll increase the weight later.]**

**\[Su Xiaoqi: You could also get a lighter set for yourself — maybe 3–5 kg to start. Any more might be too much for your body, since you're still growing. Once I upgrade mine, you can use the older set.]**

**\[Zhu Zhuqing: Okay.]**

**\[Gintoki Sakata: You're copying Kakarot's training method, aren't you?]**

**\[Su Xiaoqi: Yeah. I don't have anyone here to spar with, so this is my best option. It'd be even better if I had a gravity chamber. By the way, can your world build something like that?]**

**\[Su Xiaoqi: My money doesn't work in your world, but I checked the bank earlier and I do have a bit of gold. Funny, really — this world has no people, but lacks nothing else.]**

**\[Nami: !!!]**

**\[Nami: I'll ask around for you. Can I have some of that gold first? Hehe.]**

**\[Gintoki Sakata: No way! Gin-san will take care of that for you. With gold, I'll never have to keep charming old ladies just to survive. I won't need to work ever again!]**

**\[Lu Linglong: I'll ask around too then.]**

**\[Su Xiaoqi: Great, I'll leave it to you. If it's possible to make a weighted outfit, I'd like one too. I'll send over my measurements later.]**

**\[Zhu Zhuqing: I'll go to the blacksmith now and ask for you.]**

---

**\[Su Xiaoqi: Thanks. I'll go grab something to eat and find a place to stay.]**

*"Those guys in the group are actually pretty interesting. Too bad Sakuragi Hanamichi hasn't spoken yet — I bet things would be even more fun if he did."*

Su Xiaoqi smiled as he closed the chat group window. Having this group meant he wouldn't feel so lonely in this new world.

As night slowly fell, Su Xiaoqi picked up some water and food for dinner from a nearby supermarket, then checked into a high-end hotel.

*"So this is what the rich life feels like… it's really quite addictive."*

Lying on a massage chair, Su Xiaoqi enjoyed a kind of luxury he had never experienced before.

He used to live in a cramped 4-person dorm barely over ten square meters, with nothing but the stink of his roommates' feet every day.

But now, he was in a presidential suite of over a hundred square meters, surrounded by high-end amenities, truly tasting the joy of wealth.

This world was strange — even though there were no people, utilities like water, electricity, and gas still worked perfectly.

Just as Su Xiaoqi was about to cook dinner, he received red envelopes from Zhu Zhuqing, Lu Linglong, and Nami.

Looking at the table piled with food, he chuckled wryly. There was no way he could finish all that by himself.

After sending each of them a thank-you message, Su Xiaoqi began eating his very first meal in this new world.

But as he ate, he suddenly realized something — he'd finished *everything* on the table and didn't feel full at all.

*"Looks like my Saiyan bloodline has seriously increased my appetite."*

He quickly figured out the reason and was grateful that food was free here — with an appetite like his, he'd be broke in no time otherwise.

After cleaning up the table, he flopped onto the couch and turned on the TV out of boredom.

*"Tch, just as I thought — nothing on."*

Su Xiaoqi clicked his tongue in annoyance. But then a bold idea suddenly popped into his head.

*"Could I use the group's travel function to repopulate this world?"*

Once that thought appeared, it wouldn't leave. And the more he considered it, the more feasible it seemed.

He could invite those who were struggling in their own worlds to migrate to his — after all, this world lacked nothing. Land, housing — it was all here and ready.

But the more he thought, the more he realized the biggest hurdle: how to actually bring all those people over in the first place.

*"Forget it, not something I can solve right now. I'll think about it later."*

Getting off the couch, Su Xiaoqi took a shower and walked to the window, gazing down at the silent streets and city.

*"This feeling… it's going to take some getting used to. From now on, this is my world."*

*"Mom, Dad, are you doing okay? I'll live well in this world, so please don't worry about me. If I ever get the chance, I'll find a way to come back and see you."*

*"Good night… my first night in another world."*
