Chapter 30 - march out

At the foot of a mountain stood a small army, comprised of tens of Crimson Bone demonesses and hundreds of mindless Bloodling demons. A few meters before them stood their master, and his mate, a meter behind him.

He stood tall and firm like an unbreakable pillar. His golden bracelets glimmered as the dawn sun shimmered over the mountain and shone down on him, illuminating all his lustful glory, and his obsidian hair and white pants swayed elegantly as the morning abyssal wind flowed through the blood trees of the Outer Cradle.

One of his glowing tails lay stretched out behind him like a slumbering serpent, and the other coiled around the waist of Alexandra ever so tightly, with its tip resting on her lovely folds, absorbing the comforting warmth they radiated.

veal's eyes sparkled with authority as he scanned them. They were the demons he had subdued under his lordship in the span of time since he returned from the Saint World.

His army.

They weren't as special or numerous as the army of the demons he was about to go up against... but they were enough for what he needed them to do, and that was to be a distraction. To draw the focus of the two vital rank demon's army while he and the throne vixen faced them directly.

A great number of them would die, or perhaps even all, but he didn't care, for they were expendable, no different from the patches of weed that scatter the Abyss. After all, they were just Bloodling and Crimson Bone demons, something that the Abyss produced trillions upon trillions of every day. Within a few months, he could find their replacement.

And he was no different. Just another expendable. Nothing special. For there were also trillions like him, demons of noble blood being born and killed every moment in the all-encompassing Abyss.

His body started pulsing with the aura of a Vital Rank demon, and it immediately washed over his army like a tidal wave. Under its weight, their bodies shivered with fear, and they subconsciously lowered their heads even lower; some of the mindless demons even buried their heads into the ground.

Then he spoke in a low tone of voice, almost whispering,

"Today, you are to march into my enemy's encampment." He paused. His slumbering tail woke up and rose above. He then took a deep breath before continuing in a menacingly seductive tone, "And kill. Kill anything and everything in sight. Rip them apart."

His voice then lowered.

"No doubt many of you will die... won't ever have the pleasure of tasting my cock again, a dim and sorrowful fate. One which I cannot alter… but those of who survive will have the blessing of being branded with my crest. Becoming one of my mates and forever be coiled by my tail."

The demonesses' eyes that dimmed at the second half of his melodramatic speech lit up at the end. 'Becoming Master's mate!' That thought glimmered in their demonic minds. They even started imagining themselves standing next to Alexandra, with his second tail coiling around their waists.

Their hearts burned with determination to survive and to kill most of the master's enemies.

Seeing their eyes, he nodded internally. He had successfully planted a seed within their dullish minds that, when it bloomed, would give them enough courage to charge at the thousands of demons they were about to face.

Even though he had conquered their minds and they would obey his every command, there were still things that could override his command, such as primal instincts, flee or flight…

As for the Bloodling demons, his speech wasn't really for them; they lacked intelligence and would follow his command regardless of whether he ordered them to jump into a fiery pit.

He then turned to his mate, pulled her into his embrace, locked eyes with her, and her eyes gazed back into his with eternal love and want. He gently caressed her left cheek with his right hand and whispered,

"You too are to march with them." Hearing his words, her eyes dimmed slightly, knowing that she would be apart from him. He saw it, but ignored it before continuing,

"Your hands are still clean, still pure and holy. This can't go on… You are to go and stain them red."

She remained silent for a moment before saying,

"I will go and rip your enemies apart till the entirety of my body is painted red, so that you may feel more kinship when you gaze at me," her voice laced with love and determination. If it were a bloody banshee he wanted, she would become that. If it were a demoness like that Vixen he wanted, she would mold herself as such.

He said nothing at her proclamation, only his eyes flickered with unknown thoughts. Then he hugged her waist tightly before raising her slightly off the ground, pulling her into a deep and demonic kiss. Their tongues twisted around each other, and his tail vibrated her clit, sending that familiar, indescribable pleasure through her body.

A few seconds later, she let out a muffled squeal in his mouth, and her eyes rolled back slightly while her folds sprayed love juice.

After they separated, he placed her on the ground and uncoiled her, then whispered in her ear,

"Make sure to stay at the back of the army."

He then turned, facing his army and,

"Follow him." He pointed at a spot a few dozen meters in the sky.

They followed his point.

They saw nothing, just the familiar, filthy, cloudless crimson sky, until a second later, something started flickering at the spot, from invisible to visible. Until it was finally visible.

It was a giant bat-like demon. Near the end of the Crimson Bone rank. It was crimson in color, like the sands of the bloodied desert in the Inner Cradle. It had a wingspan of about five meters, and it had four giant horns on its head.

it was a demon with the ability to conceal itself, becoming completely invisible and masking its aura. He was Veal's eyes and ears.

And if it weren't for Veal discovering it when it was a stupid Bloodling, he wasn't sure he would have been able to spot it, much less subdue the demon.

It gazed down at the demon army below it with calm eyes, but it didn't cast its eyes toward Veal, not wanting to look down upon his master.

It then flapped its wings, taking off toward a certain direction.

The demonesses and the bloodling took off in that direction.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Alexandra also flashed past him, leaving behind her lovely scent.

He glanced at their figures vanishing into the endless trees, before turning into an afterimage, in a direction not far off from theirs.
