Elion climbed to the third floor and opened the door to his new home.
Many others who did the same probably let out admiring sighs. Indeed, the view was not bad:
It was a wide, spacious room decorated in white with a few gold and orange accents.
The room had its own bathroom and toilet, as well as a small kitchen.
There was also a tall wooden wardrobe and a long beige table.
Most importantly, however, there was a huge double bed and panoramic windows with a view of the palace in the distance.
When Elion saw this picture, however, he only said:
"Damn..."
You can really understand him because the trick of jumping onto the ceiling and landing in a somersault won't be possible to repeat. This meant that one of his cherished goals was impossible to achieve.
Although... There is still hope for a training ground of some kind. Hope really does die last.
Finishing his thoughts, he began arranging his few belongings around the room.
After putting everything in its place, he took off his clothes and lay down on the bed with the Annabelle doll. The sun shone through the large panoramic windows, directly onto the guy, who was curled up in a ball and hugging the doll.
This continued for several minutes until the guy muttered, looking at the doll.
"What am I going to do all day?"
Of course, there was no answer, but the guy continued.
"I could eat at the nearest restaurant or buy groceries and cook for myself. Then, I could start designing a new exercise machine and buy parts for it. In the evening, I could have a second workout and, before bed, check the dorm for a library... Not bad." Elion thought, already coming up with a good plan. He began to gently stroke the doll.
"Hmmm... I wonder when classes will start." The guy muttered.
Then he suddenly blinked a little harder.
"Ah... It's today. And It's probably about to start... Yes, I should hurry."
He suddenly remembered and reluctantly began to get ready.
...
Elion left the dormitory dressed somewhat casually and headed for the academic building, a ten-minute walk away.
Ten minutes later, he arrived. After the welcoming ceremony, everyone dispersed to their classrooms, leaving the central square in front of the building empty.
When there's almost no one here, it looks pretty nice. He remarked, noticing the wide open space.
The floor was made of large beige marble slabs. Judging by how clean it was almost immediately after the ceremony, it was clear that cleanliness here was carefully monitored.
There was also a large fountain made of white marble, and the water in it was a clear azure color. Benches and trees with petals of different colors were scattered about, mostly green.
It feels like you've stepped into a fairy tale... The man noticed the blue and orange leaves on the trees and shifted his gaze to the main building.
It was large, but not overly so. Classes were held there, and there was an auditorium. Other buildings stood in two rows around it, but Elion couldn't remember what they were used for. However, they were built in roughly the same style.
The main building stood out with its noble white and beige color. It consisted of three floors and an open space where the roof should have been. Some kind of classes were probably held there as well. On the building itself, as if it were a fresco, was a full-length image of the Wanderer Vessiliy. He wore an old-fashioned hat and had long, curly hair and a slightly graying beard. His appearance gave the impression of a wandering sage, and his posture resembled that of a prophet or seer.
The building also featured blue and orange elements, as if they were symbols of something. These elements formed mystical patterns and symbols.
All of this is great, of course... But where should I go? Elion stood at the entrance and read the sign.
Good luck with your research, young heroes. Why can't old people come here too? He asked himself.
He continued reading.
Welcome to the Prophet Vessiliy Educational Expedition Center... Had this guy decided to collect all the titles? Wanderer, sage, prophet, hero—who's next? Saint? The guy shook his head and began thinking about more pressing issues.
...
A noisy classroom.
Students of different ages and from different social backgrounds.
In this place, they were united by an important goal, and they undoubtedly considered themselves important because of it.
Everyone chatted loudly, sharing their impressions of the grand ceremony and anticipating further exploits.
Some sat with old friends, some made new acquaintances, and the boys sat down next to attractive ladies and glorified their heroic nature.
More than fifty students engaged in lively discussions until...
*Boom!* The classroom door flew open and slammed shut with a loud bang.
Some students jumped at the sudden sound and stared nervously at the open door.
"..."
After a few seconds of deafening silence, light, unhurried footsteps could be heard.
"Tap... Tap... Tap... Tap..."
A guy with long hair and a beautiful coat entered the classroom.
He instantly attracted the attention of everyone in the room and slowly walked past them, his head slightly raised.
When he reached the teacher's desk, he stopped and glanced around the room.
The long rows rose one level with each step, and the back row was completely empty.
He glanced quickly at the rows, ignoring the people sitting in them, and shifted his gaze to the panoramic windows to the left of each row.
He began to slowly climb the steps, accompanied by a strange silence and interested glances.
*Tap. Tap... Tap... Tap...*
He slowly rose and carefully looked out the windows. He stopped in the middle of the classroom and looked at the windows more carefully. It seemed as if he were making some strange calculations.
Finally, having made up his mind, he continued up the stairs at a leisurely pace, his expression unchanged.
*Thump... Thump... Thump.*
Then his footsteps fell silent. He sat down in the back row, in the seat closest to the window, and began to bask in the sun's rays.
When he finally sat down, whispers began to spread through the classroom. But before anyone had time to discuss this oddity, a figure jumped up from his seat and headed for the back upper row.
Elion sat looking out the window, still wearing his coat. He basked in the warm rays and seemed pleased with his new seat. His thoughts, probably about something wonderful, were interrupted by a bright, ringing voice.
"Hi, can I sit with you?"
Elion didn't want to answer, but he was forced to shake his head from side to side; otherwise, it would have been even more problematic.
"Hehe. Thanks!" The voice said, and the person sat down next to him.
"..." Elion showed his natural reaction and blinked in shock.
