Chapter 10: Limited Sayonara.
Nico wakes up in the sick bay, he turns and looks around as he sees on his left Midori, he asks her what happened and why he's in the sick bay. She says he slept off or rather passed out and when we tried to carry you out so we could go back to the ship, we felt your body and your temperature was hot like me, she winks.
Nico bursts out laughing, "I had the weirdest and scariest dream, I saw this woman and...and...I can't remember anything, I've forgotten, What the fuckkkkk!!!" Nico says, Midori can't help but laugh, in her life she's never forgotten a single nightmare, so how come Nico forgot his own?.
"What made you suddenly sleep off?" Midori asks Nico. He says that the song the preacher was singing, was the song that his mom used to sing for him, to put him to sleep, what a coincidence.
Meanwhile, Jojo wakes up as she thinks back, to why she passed out she remembers seeing someone in Nico's head, the same crying lady in Nico's dream, but she wants to forget about it.
She heads to the library to read a book. She picks up a book called "A lady and Trees". The book talks about a woman who had her entire family killed and then buried in the ground with seeds to grow trees, the book has no characters because no one has a name, and after her family is killed, the woman kills herself and is said to be reborn and the book ends without anything left, The author is unknown.
Jojo has read the book over and over and over again, and still doesn't get it, it has over a thousand pages and still has no meaning. She says that for a book to have a thousand pages, it should at least be worth it, because it tells the same thing over and over and over again, in almost every page.
At the dock of Adventure Town, Iris, Gold and the Cowboy are discussing about going to Lodidora to find Ava. Iris says that, Paulina, Percy, Rocky, Nico, Gold and the Cowboy are going to Lodidora, while the rest of them will head to kaku Island to stop the War and that if they don't find her, they should wait there and when the rest of the crew is done stopping the war they'd head to Lodidora to pick them up. If the Kaku group needs help, Lodidora group would come over to Kaku to assist, and if Lodidora group is still searching while Kaku group is done, then Kaku group will come to Lodidora to help.
The Cowboy agrees, Gold nods, Iris tells the Cowboy to wait in a hotel, the others are coming, he agrees then he apologizes' for not introducing himself earlier, "The name's Adam Jonessy, Let's complete our mission!" He says with a bright tone.
He heads to a hotel to wait while Gold and Iris head to the ship to explain what's going to happen, The Lodidora group pack their things and head to the hotel where Adam is staying, Nico is feeling better now, his temperature has reduced now.
The Kaku group say their goodbyes and set sail for Kaku Island. When the crew enter the hotel and then get to their room, they plan how they'll go to Lodidora. They'll catch a train to Orion.
Orion is a state in the country of Henui which is the country where Adventure Town is. The State is the one nearest to Dango, a neighboring country to Henui.
Dango is a neighboring country to Lodidora but there's an airport in Orion, so from there, the gang would catch their flight to Lodidora.
Midori can't help but think of what's going on in Kaku Island, maybe a close friend or family member is dead at this point.
Jojo tries over and over trying to understand the book, but she just can't get it, she tries to even read through it's existence, to find out who exactly made it, she thinks maybe it could be a manifestation, to make people question their existence and maybe commit suicide.
Nico looks outside his window and tells himself how cool the town is, and says that after he finds his mom, he's going to move into Adventure Town and just relax with his future wife, if he's ever going to get married.
He thinks back to what his dad said to him before he left Morgan and then laughs, he hears a knock on his door. "Who's there?" Nico asks, He hears a reply from Paulina, saying that she's bored and she wants to do something with Nico.
He opens the door and she enters. "Yo!" Paulina greets him with a pretty smile, she asks him whether he wants to know his ability and whether he manifests or he's a vessel.
Nico doesn't waste a second and says yes, She laughs and asks her for his hands, he pulls them out and then she holds them, she begins to glow with aura and so does Nico. For the first time in his life, he sees and feels aura, he sees that his aura is red which matches his hair, what a coincidence while Paulina's aura changes color. He finds that to be really peculiar.
Her eyes brighten, after a book and a pen appear beside her the pen begins to write effortlessly in mid air, Nico's hair is in the air flying, his braids untie and fly out in the form of an afro style hair, her hair remains intact with no problems.
The aura stops, the book floats towards the both of them, they both read it, and Nico and Paulina's expressions are in shock and amazement.

"Date of Birth: Thursday May 17th 20xx"

"Life Energy Output Type: Vessel"
"Life Energy Output: The Winner "Ability: No matter the circumstances, Nico Stars will always win!!"
Chapter 11: Two sides of the same coin.
"DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!", said Paulina as she looked at Nico after looking at the book and finding out what his ability is. Nico looks like he just saw a naked old woman, he has no idea what to do.
Paulina tells him sorry for his hair and promises to braid it to a better style, Nico doesn't give a shit about that but only cares about his ability, he immediately asks her to play rock, paper, scissors with him. She agrees.
He pulls out rock while she pulls out scissors, maybe it's a mere coincidence, they play over and over and over and he keeps on winning, till then he loses. Paulina knows he lost because he wasn't playing anymore, so it doesn't count as a loss.
Nico realizes that he only wins challenges that he's involved in and obviously he won't win in an obvious way, Paulina grabs his hands like before, their aura's begin to glow, the book and pen appear again and when the pen is done writing, the following was stated:
The ability, The Winner is an ability that let's Nico Stars to win no matter what. Example, When Nico was younger his primary school had an inter-house sport event, he was in the Noon house and had lost a race but his team had won the inter-house sport event making him a winner.
It may not seem as though he won but if he sees anything as a challenge, he'll win it, Nico hadn't cared about the race because he only wanted to eat that day, so he could've won even though his ability wasn't activated but he lost while his team won because he desperately wanted his team to win, he saw the whole thing as a challenge for his team and not for him, so you could say he shared his aura with his team to help them win.
"It is true, I never gave a shit about my race, I only wanted my team to win" Nico said in a normal manner, Paulina nodded with her usual pretty smile.
Nico asked her what her ability was, she told him she was a manifester, her Life Energy Output is called The Constitution and the ability works by her creating a law and the book makes it come to pass.
"Then how did it tell you somethings about myself??, that has nothing to do with laws" Nico asks her with a confused/annoyed expression, She tells him that she created a law that let's her to know some info about him it e.g his blood type, age, Life Energy Output e.t.c. and for it to be written down in The Constitution so that the both of them can read it.
Nico is awed, his brain is literally amazed by how cool his and Paulina's abilities are. She tells him to come to the bed and sit down, she sits behind him and begins to braid his hair. "I'll give you some dreadlocks, you'll look so much more attractive, tee-hee, I'm not trying to say you're not attractive right now, I just wanna braid your hair 'cause I'm hella bored" She says with a cute laugh after.
"You said you're a manifester right?, Percy said you're a vessel, so who's wrong?" Nico asks as she adjusts his head so she can braid it properly. "Percy was drunk then, if you didn't notice, I'm a manifester bro" she says while thinking what the rest of the crew are doing on the ship.
Nico asks her where Iris went to, the moment he got on the ship, She doesn't get the question, He tells her that when he got on the ship he got tied up immediately and Iris disappeared, where did she go to. She says Iris was carried away by Sanjay quickly to seem as though she disappeared to get him scared.
Meanwhile on the ship, Midori can't sleep as she thinks of what really drove her to commit suicide, it was really dumb to have wanted to kill herself because of what was going on, on the Island, something doesn't add up.
"AND WHAT THE HELL IS THIS ARMOR!!!!" she shouts with annoyance, she says all the things happening now are really stupid and don't make sense, so why are they happening, the world feels very weird these days or rather everyday even before she was born, as if a great evil has been planning since the dawn of mankind to wreak havoc in the lives of all.
"Suicide, Armor, Death and War, what the fuck do they mean to me!!!, why the hell did dad have to be a gangster, I know for sure people are dead, a lot and there's nothing I can do, I don't even wanna do anything I just wanna be happy but thanks a lot dad for being a mother fucking gangster!!!", She screams this all into her pillow, she wants to get to her Island and see the war stop, when the war ends there'll be peace but many more problems are bound to happen.
She thinks maybe she should join the crew, and not return back to her Island, she'd not die right??, maybe she would because the guild has probably done some things that'd leave a mark on their name and might affect her, wherever she goes she's not safe.
she goes to the bathroom and looks at the mirror and kisses her reflection, then she says "I gotta accept the fact that the world's not a safe place and I gotta enjoy what I have for now, I'll find out what really made me try to commit suicide, I'll stop the war on my Island, I'll help Nico, that pretty boy, find his mom, then I'll kill my dad…..maybe or I'll let him go to jail or summm'n, that's better, smile and get some rest, you hot daughter of a bitch". She leaves the washroom with a the most "WTF" face ever, she finds what she did weird, what of if the mirror has germs, "OH JESUS!!!" she screams, then runs back to her room.
The next day has arrived, Nico looks in front of the mirror in his room and sees his new dreadlocks, he smiles, he sees Paulina sleeping so sound on his bed and can't help but just want to hug her and thank her for braiding such nice hair for him.
He picks up his phone to check the time, it's 7:20 am, and the gang's going on the train by 10, he goes outside and knocks on the others doors to check if they are awake. none of them are awake to no surprise except for Adam.
He greets Adam warmly, Adam does the same, "I heard that you saw my mom in Lodidora" says Nico, Adam nods, Nico asks how she looks, Adam says she looks a bit older, little stretch marks but all and all she's still pretty, Nico laughs but thinks to himself whether or not Adam wants to become his step-dad because of the compliment.
"I want to become stronger, so that I can find my mom faster but I'm having a little bit of trouble" Nico says with a faint smile after, Adam looks at him and asks him whether he'd like some training, Nico's face is like "whaaaa!!!" but then he's brain reminds him that Adam is a cowboy, cowboy's know how to fight with their hands, legs, guns and knives, so he can trust him. Nico agrees to the training and then he and Adam head out for training.
"You see Nico, I'm a master martial artist, I know and have mastered all forms of martial arts whether it be Taekwondo, Judo, Boxing, Kick Boxing, Wrestling 'er even Street fighting, I know all forms and you see Nico with great power comes great responsibility, I can't keep all the wisdom and power to myself I must spread it, so lemme help ya out" He says with a wide smile that should let the toothpick in his mouth to fall out but it doesn't, Nico nods and then training begins.
Nico thinks back to what was written in The Constitution, it said that anything he saw as a challenge, he'll win at it, so that means if he saw training as a challenge he'll win at it.
The most ugly looking smirk appeared on Nico's face, he was getting excited, Adam stared at him and laughed as he noticed his aura was overflowing, "Nico, I see you have a Life Energy Output, that's wonderful, are you a vessel or manifester?" Adam asks with a smile of joy on his face, Nico says he's a vessel, Adam says that's wonderful and they should start training ASAP.
Nico jogs on a spot hundred times, does a hundred jumping jacks, squats hundred times, then he and Adam race.
Adam calls the shots, once it starts all Nico thinks about, is reaching the finish line, Adam for the most part is gapping him and it's not even a joke, Nico jumps mid-air while running and passes Adam and then wins the race.
They do some meditation after that, while Nico's eyes are closed Adam opens his and notices Nico's aura is flowing very perfectly, too perfect as if he's half of another species, his growth in training is splendid.
Adam thinks to himself that Nico might as well be the embodiment of the concept of adaptation, after a few more minutes of meditation, Adam tells Nico it's enough, he tells Nico to stand up.
"I wanna teach ya summm'n, it's a move I call soul crusher, ya see we're powered by Life energy which is technically our souls, this move I'm gonna teach ya is used to weaken one's soul but before I teach ya it's gonna deal with a lil more training, so in Lodidora the training sessions are gonna be more, ya got that bro??" Adam says, Nico nods and tells him that he'll be prepared for training.
Meanwhile on the ship, Midori is still asleep and in her dream she get's on the Island and when she get's there, she's without the crew, she sees her dad alone on the island everywhere is bloody and then he kills himself but in the dream she's aware, so she brings her dad and everyone on the island back to life and then she says bye bye to an odd looking version of the crew who she can't seem to fix their appearance then she wakes up.
She stands up from her bed, leaves the room. She sees Clown in the hallway, She greets him, he waves, She asks him whether she can search something up on his phone, he nods and hands her the phone and walks away.
She's surprised that his phone has no password, no contacts and only games, she goes to the search engine, Koogle, to go search what's going on Kaku right now, because Koogle get's updated every second, crazy right, I know.
She sees that they are multiple news articles about it, even the president is talking about it, Midori knows that her dad is going to prison for a long time and she can't do shit about it only if she could manipulate their thoughts and make them forget about the war or something, too bad.
Chapter 12:Caleb.
While training Nico realizes that this is easy, too easy and thinks to himself what of if Adam thinks he's weak or maybe he's building up some harder training in the background, he clenches his fists and asks Adam to spar with him.
Mind you Nico doesn't know a single form of martial arts he was taught karate in primary school and taekwondo in his last term of primary and only two terms in middle school.
"You sure" Adam laughs, Nico can tell Adam takes him as a joke but Nico isn't a tsundere so he replies telling Adam that he's sure and really wants to spar.
Adam asks Nico what form of fighting they should use, Nico knows not a single form of martial arts, he knows their names and few of their techniques like Judo, wrestling, boxing and mixed martial arts, he picks judo knowing he won't lose.
When the match was about to start Nico tried to use "The Winner" but it didn't work, he hasn't even fully mastered aura utilization yet and he wants to use his ability, what a joke.
He knows he's going to get slammed so he asks Adam to teach him how to street fight, because he knows that street fighting would match way more better with his ability.
Adam agrees and the lesson begins right there, he tells Nico that when street fighting anything goes, whether it be a belt, slippers, pressing iron or even horse semen, "You say WAHHH!!!!" Nico replies with a short laughter after.
Adam nods then he adjusts his glasses, Nico is wondering where in the hell the glasses came from, Adam tells him that when they get to Lodidora, the training will continue for now let them get ready to catch their train.
It's 8:16 now, and everyone is in their separate bathrooms getting ready. Nico finishes first as he doesn't like being late for anything.
He doesn't dry his face with a towel because when he was thirteen, which was just a year ago, he had some spots on his face, and remembered his mom once complaining about the same thing, so he stopped using towels to dry his face and lets breeze do the work.
While his face is drying he puts on his boxers and singlet, he uses deodorant on his armpit, he puts on a red unbuttoned shirt on top then some black baggy jeans, some socks and finally he puts on some all stars sneakers.
He puts on his chain on his neck, wears his ring and then he wears a band on his wrist that says "I'm a disciple of Jesus Christ". He goes out for breakfast after admiring his reflection over 50 times.
After all the time spent, by 9:40 the crew heads for the train they get there by 9:57, luckily in this world trains are really big so of course Adam can bring his horse on the train.
Nico sleeps off, thirty minutes after they were on the train, Percy is playing the whot mobile game, Rocky is thinking about where Ava could be and so are Gold and Adam while Paulina is chatting with a guy she met at the Host club yesterday.
Nico wakes up with the thought that "The Constitution" can create a law to find Ava, he tells Paulina about it, "Sorry to wet your fire but Paulina has tried that already, countless times, Jojo has used her abilities to try and track her down but nothing worked", Rocky frowns.
Nico is pissed about it but he tells himself that they'll have to find her manually and when they do he'll be he happiest boy in the world but who knows how long it'll take.
Rocky asks Nico whether he wants to go for some karaoke , Nico is confused because they are on a train, so how will they go for some karaoke.
Rocky tells Nico to stand up and follow him, Nico does exactly that, they walk up to the car door, Rocky tells him to hold the handle and think about anything and then open the door, Nico nods a second later he opens the door to see his mom.
Nico is so happy to see her, he tries to cry but just can't, Nico can never be emotional as he wants to for some weird reason, he runs to her and then they hug, the door of the car shuts.
Nico knows she isn't real but he's really happy to be with her right now, he notices she looks just like she did the day before she left Morgan and was missing.
He tells her all about his life in school, all the new people he met after she left, he tells her all the things he has experienced with Log 9, then she kisses him on the head then he goes back to the original car.
"WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, Mr Rocky, that was balls deep amazing, so your telling me that whatever I imagine, can come to life in any car??!!!!" Nico screams, Rocky nods, Nico gets excited and goes back into the car.
When he enters this time he meets a man with a guitar, the man greets him in a nonchalant manner with a smile on his face, Nico asks himself how is it possible to smile and be nonchalant.
He asks the man of his name, the man replies telling Nico that he was imagined by him, so he should name him. Nico refuses and tells the man to name himself.
The man nods and plays the guitar, till a name pops up in his head, Nico waits patiently while moving his head to the tunes created by the man using the guitar, the man shouts at last "CALEB!!".
"Alright then Mr Caleb, you know why I imagined you, right?" Nico asks, Caleb tells him that he knows and that'll he'll do exactly what he needs to do to teach him how to play the guitar, in one second.
Nico's eyes brighten at the thought of finally learning how to play the guitar, because when he was in third grade, during first term, his music teachers brought in some new guitar teachers for the pupils to learn.
Nico enjoyed learning the instrument so much, for the first time in his life, he enjoyed playing an instrument, but then, second term came in like a lion, the teachers only taught Nico and the pupils for about 3 weeks or so then they left and never came back.
Caleb throws the guitar at him, then tells him to play, Nico is flustered and excited, he begins to play and his so amazing at it, "There you go, you learnt how to play guitar in one second, what can I say except, you're welcome" Caleb laughs.
Nico leaves then comes back into the car, he sees Caleb this time Caleb's with a drawing board, like a mangaka, "Yo" Nico greets Caleb, He replies saying "Asakura", Nico says that the series is underrated, Caleb nods and says that Overflow is getting respect not Shaman King and asks what type of disrespect is that?.
Caleb tells Nico to forget that, and tells him to come towards him, Nico walks to him, Caleb stands up and tells Nico to sit down and draw anything he wants on the board in the front of him.
Nico feels worried at first but he keeps his cool and draws everyone in the guild including his dad, his mom, Midori, Adam, Caleb, McKenny and Yoh from Shaman King stepping on top of the main characters of over flow.
Nico is surprised to see that the drawing is absolutely amazing, it's a combination of Hiroriko Araki and Yusuke Murata's artstyle's combined, Nico snaps it for remembrance and then hugs Caleb.
Nico leaves the car then comes back over and over again, he learns how to play basketball better, to run faster, to fence, to fight in kendo and many more in one second, he gets an Idea, the idea is to learn all forms of martial arts like Adam.
When he enters the car he sees Caleb as usual but then he teleports outside the train and sees everyone coming off the train, his jaw dropped in shock, the crew tells him that the train journey has ended and when it ends you're automatically transported outside the train with your things
Nico is pissed that he couldn't continue in the train with Caleb but he's happy that they made it to Orion to catch their flight to Lodidora, hopefully they'd find his mom there.
