Kenpachi's transformations exceeded Aizen's expectations, fueling his ambition to break the Shinigami-Hollow boundary with the Hōgyoku.

"No way… that's Captain Kenpachi?" Yongyin's voice trembled, her face pale as the overwhelming reiatsu nearly crushed her soul.
Unohana's heart stirred. Even as a former demon, she was unsettled by Kenpachi's aura.
"This is his true peak power… a bloodthirsty demon who won't stop until his enemy's flesh is consumed."
She sensed their bond would continue into the future.

"I've never seen such a creepy Bankai!" Tessai gasped, his cells screaming in fear.
Kenpachi's reiatsu had surpassed Shinigami limits, entering godlike territory.
"Don't be so down, Tessai," Urahara chuckled. "You're the Kido Corps Commander. Maybe you'll be a top-tier support in the future!"
"Support that? No thanks!" Tessai retorted.
