"Wake up, little Vina…"
A soothing yet, agitating voice kept ringing in my ears, and even though I didn't want to respond to it. I felt a cold palm on my chin, with long and thin fingers drawing circles on my chest.
"Leave me alone…" I pushed the hands away, hoping to get more sleep as I had fallen asleep after crying.
"Get the fuck up!"
Pak!
A sharp slap resounded on my face and my eyes flew open the next second. A harsh and slow breath spilled out of my mouth, with my eyes widening slowly.
As I held my face, I slowly looked up in horror, and shock when I saw the Alpha hovering over me.
Immediately, my heart sank and goosebumps lined my skin and as our eyes met, his lips curled upward, slow and taunting.
"We meet again, Davina. Did you miss me?"
I glued myself to the wall as he bent down to my level with his muscles flexing and fur growing on his body. His wolf was on the edge, swarming in his eyes and ready to pounce on me.
