Chapter 19 - Chapter 19

--[Lois Griffin]--

I let out a frustrated sigh as I stared at the door my daughter had just slammed shut in my face, "Damnit, Meg."

Part of me was tempted to run after Meg and stop her from making the biggest mistake of her life, "I thought I did a better job raising her, I mean, jumping into bed with some guy she just met. And it's her boss, no less, I bet that he fires her right after sealing the deal!"

Muttering angrily to myself, I stormed into the kitchen in full Mother Goose mode. Grabbing the house phone, I ripped it off the stand and quickly dialed Peter's number, tapping my foot impatiently as it rang, 'Damnit Peter, get off your fat ass and answer!'

After nearly a full minute, the call was picked up, and I heard the familiar strained breath through the phone, "Hello?"

"Finally," I exclaimed, nearly throwing my hands up into the air, "What the hell took you so long?"

"Lois? It's the middle of the work day, and I had to step away from my desk. Why are you calling me in a panic?"

"I'm calling you because our daughter just screamed that she plans on sleeping with her boss before she stormed out the door!" I shouted, wanting nothing more than to grab my stupid husband through the phone and shake him like a paper weight.

"What?! She said that, and you just let her leave?!" Peter shouted.

"I didn't let her do anything," I snarled, "Don't blame this on me, you were the one who got her all defensive yesterday when you ambushed her!"

"I-I w-wasn't blaming you, I was just trying to clarify what happened," Peter replied, taking back his previous attitude.

I rolled my eyes and tapped my foot impatiently. "Well, now you know what happened, so what are you gonna do about it?"

"Do about it? I can't just leave work in the middle of the day, Lois." Peter answered lamely.

"Oh really, our daughter is in trouble, and this is the one time you just happen to take your job seriously? Unbelievable." I muttered as I put a hand on my hip, wishing I had a visible target to focus my ire on.

Peter huffed, "Oh, so now I don't take my job seriously? I wasn't aware that you were bringing home a paycheck every month, Lois."

"With how many times I've had to ask my father for money, I might as well be," I shot back before slamming the phone back down on the stand and ending the call before Peter could respond.

For a moment, I just stood there with my hand on the phone, my own words echoing in my head, "Fuck."

--[Ramon's POV]--

My knife paused against the cutting board as I heard the kitchen door swing open, and I looked over to see Patty standing in the doorway. "H-hey there."

"Hi," Patty replied with a nervous smile as she stepped into the kitchen, "Uh, is Meg here yet?"

"No, not yet, seems like she's running late today," I muttered as I turned back to my cutting board and the heads of lettuce that needed to be chopped up. "I would help you with the setup, but I'm actually running a bit behind myself. Had to do some errands this morning. Speaking of..."

I trailed off as I quickly reached into my pocket and pulled out my phone. Putting the device on the countertop next to me, I gestured at it with my chin, "If you could put your number in there, that would be great."

"Y-you want my number?" Patty repeated as she stared at my phone with suspicion, "Just for work purposes, right?"

"Do you only want it to be for work purposes?" I deflected answering with a question of my own as a teasing grin flitted across my lips, "I already told you I was a greedy man, Patty. If that's going to be a problem, I suggest you find work somewhere else or tell me right this instant that you have absolutely no intention of pursuing something more than an employer-employee relationship."

"I-I'm not pursuing anything," Patty insisted, and I didn't even need to look at her to know she was biting her lip and casting nervous glances around the room, "B-besides I-I think you and Meg are far more compatible so entertaining the illusion that there is any romantic possibility between us would only harm the budding-"

"You know you really ought to be more selfish, Patty," I interrupted with a click of my tongue, "While I admire your logic and thoughtfulness, you're missing out on so much."

Patty's breath hitched, and she swallowed hard, "M-missing out?"

"Yesterday, for instance, if you were just a little bit more selfish," I paused before turning to glance at Patty from over my shoulder, "You could have been the one that ended up in my bed instead of Megan, or even better, you could have joined us."

Patty's face went bright red, nearly rivaling the shade of her hair, "Y-you two slept together?

"No, I'm afraid not," I muttered regretfully with an audible sigh, before I grinned, "But hopefully that changes tonight."

I could practically see the steam rising from the top of Patty's head as her brain overheated with logic and desire conflicting in equal measure. "Patty, everything alright?"

Blinking Patty came around and quickly nodded, "Y-yeah, I-I just need to..."

Instead of completing her sentence, Patty ran from the kitchen, disappearing through the door in the blink of an eye. Laughing at her antics, I went back to chopping lettuce with a smirk across my lips, 'Maybe I'm more of a sadist than I thought, if only she didn't make it so easy.'

--[Megan's POV]--

I was still fuming by the time I got to the restaurant, but I had never been more sure of anything in my life. By the end of the day, I was going to sleep with Ramon, 'I finally started to feel confident in myself, and I get slut shamed by my damn mother. She's probably the reason why I've never been able to get a boy's attention my entire life! She's so fucking unhappy with her own marriage that she can't stand to see me be with a guy that actually treats me right.'

In my fury, I threw open the front door, startling Patty, whose arms were piled up with silverware wrapped in napkins, "Oh Meg, it's you!"

I opened my mouth to reply, only to pause as I noticed the blush across her cheeks and how she refused to look at me for more than a second, "Yeah, sorry I'm late, my mom was being...her usual self. But what's going on with you?"

"M-me?!" Patty squeaked, "N-nothing, nothing's wrong, everything is fine!"

Even though I blind man, I could see that Patty was lying. I had known her long enough to know that pressing her for answers wouldn't result in much, 'Her own guilt will do that for me.'

"Alright then," I muttered in response, "Is Ramon in the kitchen?"

Patty nodded like a bobblehead, "Yes, he's in the kitchen and I am here, we're both in two separate rooms!"

I narrowed my eyes but didn't comment on the weird response, "Good to know."

I pretended not to hear Patty's sigh of relief as I moved past her and into the kitchen. Stepping into the room, my heart was already speeding up in anticipation before I even saw him, and it only got worse when I did.

As if he had some sixth sense, Ramon paused and turned around, smiling when his eyes met mine, but only for a moment. His eyes then dipped and dragged down my body, pausing on my chest, hips, and thighs. There was a hunger in his gaze, a desire, and in that moment, I didn't care if he only wanted me for my body and nothing else; it felt so good to be looked at with something other than disgust or disappointment.

"Well, look who finally decided to show up," Ramon smirked as he stared at me, "Don't tell me you were that tired from last night?"

Instead of replying to his banter, I strode up to Ramon, making sure my hips were swaying side to side, pulling his gaze down and entrancing him with their rhythmic pattern. Then, when I was close enough, I pounced, throwing myself at him and wrapping my arms around his neck while pressing my lips against his.

For a moment, my feet left the ground, but before I could fall back down, Ramon's muscular arms wrapped around my body, holding me against him while his hands reached down to grab my ass.

My lips were already open for his tongue, knowing that his intensity wouldn't let him leave my mouth unexplored. But this time I met him halfway, showing him I was willing and wanting, anything he wanted from me, he could have.

However, after a second, I suddenly pulled away from the kiss and pushed away from Ramon, making him drop me to the floor.

"What's wrong?" He asked, his voice confused as he searched my eyes for some type of answer to my sudden refusal.

Looking him up and down, I grinned, "That was just a taste...you can get the real thing later tonight."
