Chapter 50 - Chapter 50: She Felt She Could Do It Again

Chapter 50: She Felt She Could Do It Again

Looking at the carefree, handsome man before him, Lin Yun's expression twisted almost imperceptibly.

He forced down the urge to plant a fist in the man's face and spoke calmly. "I'm sure you can guess why I came to find you. Don't worry—I admire your talent. With me, your strengths will be put to their fullest use."

"My talent? Now that you've said that, I'm not sleepy anymore!" Qing Ye's eyes lit up, and he gave a strange, gleeful laugh.

"Tell me in detail—what should I do?"

"Come, listen closely." Lin Yun beckoned to Qing Ye, who understood and stepped forward. The two began quietly discussing their wicked plan.

Off to the side, the Ice Emperor and the Ten Thousand Demon King exchanged bewildered looks, completely at a loss.

"Like this… then this… and then this. Got it?" Lin Yun instructed patiently.

"Ah, I get it! I get it!" Qing Ye nodded with an air of deep understanding.

They exchanged a glance and both revealed meaningful smiles.

"Jie jie jie jie…"

"Rest assured, once you've pulled this off, there'll be plenty of benefits for you!" Lin Yun said with a grand wave of his hand.

Qing Ye turned slightly, his oddly smiling face half-hidden in shadow. "Then I'll thank you in advance. But those things you're offering—I'm not interested. What I want is simple."

All that is rotten will eventually crumble, and upon the ruins, a new order will be built!

Lin Yun was silent for a moment, then waved toward the Ten Thousand Demon King. "I recall that the Bright Unicorn Clan's leader is Sheng Xin, right? Bring her here—her healing abilities might come in handy."

"Yes, Respected One."

Back at Shrek Academy, Lin Yun was still in high spirits, humming a tune the Ice Emperor couldn't understand but found oddly pleasant.

"Respected One, what plan were you discussing with that human just now?" the Ice Emperor asked after hesitating a moment.

Poor little scorpion—she didn't understand a thing!

"Heh, heaven's secrets can't be revealed." Lin Yun shook his finger mysteriously. "Just wait and see. You don't need to know my plan!"

"But for now… change for me!"

The Ice Emperor froze for a second before transforming in a flash of green light into a soft, fragrant little loli with a faint blush on her face.

Somewhere nearby, in Huo Yuhao's spiritual sea, a certain big bug was still sound asleep—unaware that the Ice Emperor he longed for was only a few walls away, serving as someone else's pillow.

Tian Meng Iceworm: Pain, so much pain!

Three days passed in the blink of an eye.

During this time, Lin Yun kept a close watch on Zhou Yi's micro-expressions during class. In just a few days, she was already struggling to tolerate such a "backward" teaching method.

What made it worse was that with Lin Yun present, the brats in Class One were bolder than ever. Since Zhou Yi had scolded them all in her very first class, they now had even less patience for her and would occasionally crank up the pressure on the old woman during lessons.

Almost every day, Zhou Yi left class with a dark, stormy face. In her irritable state, probably only Fan Yu could calm her down.

Poor Fan Yu—it was doubtful that goji berries alone could replenish him.

On the fifth day, Zhou Yi finally snapped.

If it had only been some minor friction, that would have been fine—especially with Lin Yun around to keep her in check. But people are always tempted to push boundaries when they've been in their comfort zone too long, and she had clearly reached her limit.

The students had crossed her bottom line.

With Lin Yun around, Zhou Yi—determined to avoid another beating—had refrained from using her rebellious teaching style. She stuck to the standard schedule of theory classes in the morning and physical training in the afternoon. Even the training load in her physical classes hadn't been secretly increased.

But even so, there were still a few troublemakers who tried to slack off during the physical training sessions.

With other teachers, slacking might go unnoticed. But in Zhou Yi's class?

She hadn't even made them run a hundred laps until class ended—just a mere twenty laps, along with normal physical drills—yet they still dared to slack off?

They only completed half the twenty laps, and their physical training was as limp and foul as old pickled vegetables, completely lacking any sign of real effort.

School had only been in session for a few days—how could Zhou Yi possibly tolerate this?

Unable to bear it any longer, Zhou Yi lifted her foot, first glancing at Lin Yun. Seeing him chatting and laughing with Xiao Xiao without the slightest concern for her intentions, she then stomped her high heel heavily on the ground. Six soul rings instantly rose around her as the Red Dragon Martial Soul possessed her.

Lin Yun only glanced up briefly before turning back to his conversation with Xiao Xiao.

Having been at Shrek Academy for half a month, he'd naturally seen how other classes were run. Zhou Yi's methods were no different. When she had provoked him before, he could give her a couple of solid punches and send her to the infirmary without worry.

But when she acted normally, he had no reason to stir trouble. If she wasn't targeting him, why should he stick his neck out for others?

Within the rules, resistance made for a good student. But picking fights with the teacher for no reason marked you as a defiant troublemaker—and that would be bad for his plan to remain undercover at Shrek.

He simply glanced at Zhou Yi from the corner of his eye before looking away.

Hah, go ahead. The bigger the scene you cause, the smoother my plan will go later!

As expected, the eight slackers were immediately suppressed on the spot and thrown out by Zhou Yi.

Coincidentally, they were the exact same eight from the original story—every single one. They even went to the outer court's teaching director, Du Weilun, to protest. But Du Weilun, having dealt with Zhou Yi for years, was used to such complaints. Seeing that none of the eight had exceptional talent and that Lin Yun wasn't among them, he simply brushed the matter aside.

After all, Zhou Yi had a husband, Fan Yu, who was of equal standing to him. Du Weilun wasn't about to offend Fan Yu over a few outer court students. If they were expelled, so be it.

As always, people are never satisfied—they will keep testing boundaries, dancing on the edge of disaster.

After expelling the eight, Zhou Yi noticed Lin Yun made no move to intervene. In the following days, she began kicking out more students under various pretexts, still finding Lin Yun unmoved.

Zhou Yi began to think she could do as she pleased again!

Her voice in class grew louder, her posture straighter. While she still acted timid before Lin Yun, she was fearless toward ordinary students.

"Can't handle Lin Yun? I can still handle you lot!"

In full-force mode, Teacher Zhou Yi finally revealed her true, almost brutish nature.

Training? Increase it!

Lin Yun could run or not, but the rest of them would run—every last one of them—and they'd run in iron vests!

For everyone in Class One except Lin Yun and Xiao Xiao, a life of torment had begun.

The fear of being ruled by Zhou Yi!
