Chapter 5 - Episode 5.The Game of betrayal

Aaryan's arrival had cast an unusual tension over the mafia house.

Zoya felt restless about him, while Ilyas… remained silent.

One evening, Aaryan was strolling in the lawn when Zoya approached him.

"Are you really Ilyas's friend, or is this just another game?" she asked directly.

Aaryan looked at the sky for a moment before replying,

"Friend… enemy… these things change with time. Ilyas and I were students of the same mentor. But then… a betrayal turned us into enemies."

"What betrayal are you talking about?" Zoya asked curiously.

Aaryan only said, "Those who try to uncover the truth… don't live long."

At dinner that night, an unusual silence settled between Ilyas and Aaryan.

Hamza broke it with a chuckle, "Why are you two sitting like there's a war tomorrow?"

Ilyas shot a cold glance at Aaryan. "Not tomorrow… the war has already begun."

Aaryan smirked, "Then why delay the strike on your enemy?"

Zoya could sense that both men carried a hidden history — one that might surface .

Around 2 a.m., Zoya heard faint rustling from the kitchen.

She tiptoed over and saw Aaryan drinking water from the fridge.

"Awake this late?" she asked.

Aaryan turned and said, "Sometimes, staying awake is necessary… because the real enemy moves at night."

Zoya noticed a small device in his pocket — perhaps a tracker or a remote.

The next morning, a file landed on Ilyas's desk — containing CCTV footage.

One look, and Ilyas smashed his glass in fury.

Zoya rushed in. "What happened?"

Ilyas played the footage — it showed Aaryan handing an envelope to a guard, who then slipped out the back gate.

"That's the same guard spotted in Nazli's territory last week," Ilyas said.

Zoya's heart sank. Could Aaryan really be working for Nazli?

Ilyas summoned Aaryan to his office.

"What's this?" He shoved the video in front of him.

Aaryan replied calmly, "It's not what you think… but if I tell you the truth, you won't believe me."

Ilyas pulled out his gun. "Then speak, or the bullet will be my answer."

Aaryan took a deep breath. "I'm not working for Nazli… I'm an agent for someone far more dangerous. And that enemy… is tied to your past."

Suddenly, a deafening explosion rocked the mansion.

Hamza ran in, panicked. "Khan! A bomb went off near the gate… the guards are dead!"

Ilyas and Aaryan rushed outside — a black SUV was burning at the entrance.

On its windshield, written in blood:

"The next blast will be inside. — Nazli"

Later that night, everyone gathered in the war room.

"This blast is to force us out," Ilyas said.

"Or…" Aaryan interrupted, "She wants us to die inside."

Zoya suddenly spoke, "Then we must strike before the enemy arrives."

Ilyas looked at her. "This is a mafia war, Zoya… here, bullets don't run on emotions."

Two days later, an eerie silence surrounded the house.

Hamza whispered to Aaryan, "Something feels off today…"

At that exact moment, a massive explosion erupted in the secret basement beneath the library.

Flames shot up, smoke flooding the halls.

Ilyas grabbed Zoya and pulled her outside — but Hamza was still inside.

Aaryan tried to save him, but a second blast collapsed the basement in rubble.

That night, rain poured outside the mafia house.

Ilyas stood on the porch, smoking.

Aaryan came over and said, "This war has just begun… and you'll have to give up your greatest weakness."

Ilyas exhaled slowly. "My greatest weakness… is Zoya."

Behind the door, Zoya had heard everything.

Two days had passed digging through the wreckage of the mafia house basement.

The dampness from the rain had made the ground heavy, and each shovel sank into the mud, getting stuck.

Ilyas was clearing the debris himself when suddenly a guard shouted,

"Khan! There's something here!"

Everyone rushed over — beneath the rubble lay Hamza, unconscious, his face covered in ash and blood, his breathing faint but still there.

Ilyas immediately lifted him and rushed to the hospital.

The doctor said, "It's a miracle he's alive, but the next 48 hours will be critical."

That same night, Aryan stood alone in the lawn, smoking.

Zoya approached and said, "Looking at you, it feels like you're hiding something."

Aryan smirked. "I hide everything… even my true identity."

Zoya teased, "Then why don't you tell me everything tonight?"

Aryan crushed his cigarette and said, "I'm an undercover agent… not to destroy the mafia, but to hand it over to a new boss. And that boss… is Rohan."

Zoya's eyes widened. "Who is this Rohan?"

Aryan replied, "The man who's even more dangerous than Nazli… and Ilyas's old enemy

The story took a new turn as we entered a dark warehouse.

Raindrops tapped against the tin roof, and through the mist, a tall, lean man walked slowly forward.

It was Rohan — half his face hidden behind a mask, poison in his eyes.

Nazli sat with one leg crossed over the other on a chair.

"So, you finally came."

Rohan said, "You're an expert in explosions, but I'm an expert in wars… Together, we can bring Ilyas to his knees."

Nazli smiled faintly. "And why do you want the mafia?"

Rohan stepped closer and whispered, "So I can sit on the throne Ilyas once dreamed of.

The next morning, Zoya was in the library writing a letter for Hamza when suddenly a loud crash came from outside the window.

She ran to look — a white van was smashing through the gate.

Guards opened fire, but masked men leapt out of the van, throwing smoke bombs.

Zoya barely had a moment to react — one man pressed a cloth over her mouth, and she lost consciousness.

When Ilyas returned, chaos had taken over the house.

Hamza was in the hospital, Aryan was missing, and there was no trace of Zoya.

At the gate lay an envelope containing only a photo — Zoya, chained, with the same warehouse in the background where Rohan had met Nazli.

A note was attached:

"Leave your throne… or lose your weakness. — Rohan"

Just then, Aryan suddenly returned.

Ilyas, furious, demanded, "Where were you? And where is Zoya?"

Aryan replied calmly, "I can bring her back… but you'll have to make a deal."

"What deal?" Ilyas growled through clenched teeth.

Aryan said, "Give me control of the mafia, and I'll return Zoya to you alive.

Ilyas realized this wasn't just Nazli or Rohan's game — Aryan had set his own board too.

Now he had to choose:

Abandon the mafia to save Zoya

Or keep the mafia and risk losing her in the war.

All night he thought, but his heart and mind showed him different paths.

In the final scene, Zoya regains consciousness.

She is shackled in chains, and in front of her stands Nazli.

Nazli says, "You know Ilyas won't sacrifice everything for you… and when he doesn't, you'll just become a memory to him."

Tears well in Zoya's eyes, but she softly replies,

"Ilyas has both a heart and a bullet… and he knows how to fire them both."

The camera slowly zooms out — outside the warehouse, Rohan and Aryan stand side by side, and in the distance, a gunshot echoes.
