"Hahah… so this is where the little bug's been hiding. Saving two pretty girls, huh? Good." shocker stands there clearly amused "I'll snap their necks of course ill do it right in front of your eyes.
Shocker makes a punching movement sending shockwaves towards spiderman mj and felicity.
Spiderman shoots two web lines to the girl while jumping up dodging the shockwaves and bringing the girls with him onto a building,"stay here ill make this quick."
Spider-Man vaulted high off the building's ledge, twisting in midair before diving straight down at Shocker
Shocker seeing this use his gunlets to dodge backwards
Spider-Man slammed into the ground, cracks spiderwebbing out beneath him. Instead of rising, he dug his fingers into the broken concrete, ripped up a slab, and hurled it at Shocker.
"You DID THIS LAST TIME LITTLE SPIDER " shocker destroys then immediately gets ready for another punch to destroy the webline.
But this time Spiderman did not use the rubble as a smoke screen to web shocker hands he used it to get close.
Shocker, seeing this throws out a punch but Peter grabs the shocker hand shockwaves through his body destroying half of his costume. But spiderman didn't care he was to piss off
"Why you damn bug ill kill you" shocker goes for another punch with his other hand.
Spiderman also catches it and destroys the torso part of his suit leaving only his pants and mask left.
"Shocker it seems like you didn't learn from our earlier fight," say spiderman looking directly at shocker head he started to spin his hands in a 180 angle shocker suit starting to crack and ack then bones snapping but before he could break shocker arm his spidey sense went off making him jump back dodging a sniper shot.
"Screw this! I'm not dying here!" Shocker sends a small shock wave through the ground causing him to go to the sewers where he has a motorcycle
"GET BACK HERE SHOCKER," Peter says this while dodging a volley of sniper shots
After a minute the sniper fire ended " DANM IT " spiderman yells while slamming down onto concrete breaking it all apart.
Spiderman goes back to mj and felicity webs his clothes and takes off his mask in one fluid motion.
Mj stares at him, not moving, having fear in her eyes.
[mj flashback 6 hours earlier]
MJ lean forward onto her elbows " so what do you think of the food i thought it was so awesome for how cheap it was"
Peter smiles enjoying himself " the food was good we should come here next time
Mj looks at him. It's the first time i seen him smile in a while for last couple of months he would have a scowl on his face and be moody especially after harry confronted him leading to a big argument.
" That's great, maybe we should invite Harry next time, " MJ says , carefully knowing their fight was still recent.
"Mmm that might not be a good idea," Peter says looking down.
"Im sure he wont hold it against you, he is not that type of guy," mj pushes it further hoping they can get back to being friends.
" THAT NOT WHAT I—" Peter stopped himself, catching the edge in his own voice. He let out a slow breath, forcing his tone lower.
"What I mean is… I didn't like how he acted like our situations were the same. He's a rich kid. I'm just… an orphan who got the only man who ever cared about me killed. It's not the same." His jaw tightened. "He had loving parents. And i sorry he lost one but our situations are completely different yeah, but he got counseling, he had support. And me? I have to watch the kindest woman in the world work herself to the bone just to keep us off the streets"
Peter looks down "when she should've just kicked me to the streets and lived the rest of her life care free without struggle."
Peter looks at MJ with anger in his eyes " so when he says he gets it it pisses me off he has it easy."
Peter clenches his teeth." while i have to work for everything i have even before uncle ben died i would have to get a scholer ship to go to college while he he can fail the test and still get in with just one donation or his dad could just make college for him hes just a rich kid who thinks he suffer more then others."
mj apolgies. "Im sorry peter i just thought it would be nice for us to be all friends again"
After the tangent from Peter he tries to lift up the mood.
"How about we go to Battery Park and take a picture with the Statue of liberty in the background," Peter smiles, trying to play off what happened earlier.
[flash back end]
"Mj you ok " peter tries to get closer
" DONT TOUCH ME " mj backs up.
Felicity staring at the two of them not knowing who to side with.
"Mj it me peter you dont have to be scared the guy ran off no one going to hurt you" peter tries to comfort her
" im scared–" mj starts to choke up. " of you "
Peter back ups " mj its me why would you be scare of me"
MJ's tears streamed as she looked straight at Peter.
"The Peter I knew would never—" her voice cracked, the rest breaking into sobs. She forced the words out between them.
"—never have been so uncaring. When you were fighting, you cared more about beating him than saving people. It was like… like you didn't even see the world around you. You only saw what you wanted to hit."
Peter just looks at her with no emotion then he jumps and swing away heading home trying to put everything in the back of his mind.
[mj pov]
hh—hhhuuuhhh…" mj noticed peter left but that just made her cry even more.
Felicity walks up to MJ and hugs her." come on mj let go some where so we can talk in private.
