That golden gaze, framed by his dark, unruly hair, gives his face a beauty both mysterious and commanding.

Purpose: Guides the Tarnished, grants strength through runes, and provides Torrent. In the larger story, she embodies sacrifice, offering herself as kindling for the flame to open the Erdtree.

She carries herself with the quiet majesty of one born to rule, yet rejects the fate the Greater Will imposed upon her.
Backstory: Daughter of Radagon and Rennala, Ranni was chosen as an Empyrean, a potential successor to Queen Marika. Refusing to bend to the Two Fingers, she embraced her own path. During the Night of the Black Knives, she used the Rune of Death to slay her flesh, leaving her soul bound to a doll. Now known as the Snow Witch and Lunar Princess, she seeks to lead the world into the Age of Stars, far beyond the Erdtree's reach.
Purpose: Ranni offers the Tarnished a chance at a different ending—an escape from the Greater Will's grasp. By swearing to her, the Tarnished can become her consort and usher in a thousand-year voyage beneath the cold moon, free of the gods' tyranny.
