Kyel kissed Eva, their lips moving slowly, until her hands slipped down to unfasten the buttons of his shirt.
But before she could, Kyel caught her wrists gently and broke the kiss, his breath uneven.
"Eva…" his voice was husky, rough, almost pleading. "That's it. That's all I'll give you tonight."
Her brows furrowed, lips parting in disbelief. "That's it?"
Kyel gently pulled her off his chest, settling her back onto the bed as if she were the most fragile thing in the world. He turned, giving her his back. "Good night."
Eva blinked at the sight of his broad shoulders turned away from her, and for a moment, silence filled the room.
Then, biting back a laugh, she whispered, "So you're really not going to do anything?"
"No…" he replied flatly, though the tightness in his tone betrayed him.
Eva smirked. "Understood."
She cleared her throat dramatically. "Kyel?"
He sighed. "Yes?"
"The physician told me something today."
Kyel's head didn't move, but she knew he was listening.
"He said I already healed completely after just one week… and that he told you fifteen days only because some husbands don't follow the warning."
Kyel's entire body stiffened. "…What?"
Eva's grin widened. "And do you know what else he said?"
She leaned closer, her breath brushing the back of his neck. "It's been twenty days. We can love each other as much as we want."
His head snapped around, eyes blazing, and in the next second he was on top of her, his hand braced beside her face.
"Say it again."
Eva laughed softly, her eyes glimmering with mischief. "He said we can spend the night together. So don't hold yourself back."
Kyel's lips curved into a slow, dangerous smile.
Eva teased, "What, are you not going to sleep now?"
He leaned in, close enough that she could feel the warmth of his breath against her lips. "No…"
"Why?" she whispered, tilting her chin up.
His lips hovered above hers, eyes dark and intense. "Because I want to love you tonight."
His mouth claimed hers, no longer restrained—hungry, desperate, aching. Eva clutched at his shirt, breathless, her lips trembling under his.
"I missed your touch," she whispered against his mouth.
"I missed yours too," he growled softly, his voice raw.
"Then touch me all you want tonight."
"I will," he promised, before kissing her again, deeper this time, his hand roaming slowly down her side.
Eva pushed Kyel down against the bed, her courage blazing as she straddled him. Her cheeks burned, but she leaned in until her lips brushed his ear.
"Are you really not going to take the key, Kyel? Do it with your hands… or with your mouth. I don't mind."
Her finger tapped her breast, bold and tempting.
"It's right here. Come and get it."
Kyel's smirk spread, his eyes gleaming with mischief. He didn't move immediately—instead, he let his gaze wander over her body slowly, deliberately, until her skin tingled under his stare.
"Mm…" he drawled lazily, "do you know what you sound like right now, Eva?"
She blinked. "What?"
"Like a wife begging her husband to devour her." His smirk deepened, his voice dropping to a husky whisper.
"Should I obey… or should I make you beg harder?"
Her stomach twisted at his words. "Kyel…"
His hand slid beneath her gown, fingers gliding over her thigh before creeping higher—so painfully slow she almost wanted to shove him.
He cupped her breast through the thin fabric, squeezing lightly. She gasped, moaning softly.
"Ah… so warm," he teased, circling his thumb. "But… no key here. Perhaps I should search deeper?"
Her breath caught. "Stop teasing…"
Kyel tilted his head, pretending to think. "Stop? But I've barely started."
He pushed under her bra now, letting his fingers toy with her hardened peak, pinching lightly.
"Still no key. Strange… maybe I should take a little more time investigating."
Eva trembled against him, her moans spilling freely. "Kyel, please…"
"Please what?" His lips brushed her jaw, his tone maddeningly calm.
"Please keep searching? Or… please stop?"
She bit her lip, refusing to answer.
He chuckled. "You're quiet… does that mean you want me to stop? Hm?" He deliberately withdrew his hand, trailing it down her side as if he was really about to pull away.
Her eyes snapped open in panic. "No!"
Kyel's grin was wicked. "Ah… so you do want me to keep going."
His voice dropped, taunting, "Then say it, Eva. Say you want me."
Her pride burned, but the ache in her body overpowered her. "I… I want you, Kyel."
That broke his restraint. With a low groan, he tugged her strap down with his teeth, his mouth following the trail until she was bare before him.
His lips closed around her, sucking softly, making her cry out.
And then, with a playful bite, he caught the tiny key between his teeth and pulled back, holding it up.
"There it is." His grin widened as he flicked it into his palm.
Eva's chest heaved, her voice barely steady. "Then are you not going to unlock the door."
Kyel dangled the key for a moment, his smirk deepening as if he was considering.
Then, deliberately, he tossed it aside, letting it clatter against the floor.
"No. There's no need."
He pinned her beneath him, his voice thick with hunger.
"The only thing I want unlocked now… is you."
He rolled her beneath him, kissing her with a hunger that made her melt.
His hand slid down, parting her thighs, stroking until she was trembling and wet with need.
When his hardness pressed at her entrance, she gasped, but he stopped, teasing her cruelly.
"Kyel—"
"Not yet," he growled, pushing just the tip inside before pulling back out.
Her body jolted, her moans turning desperate.
Again. And again. Just enough to make her ache.
Eva clung to him, nails digging into his shoulders. "Please…"
He gripped her chin, forcing her eyes to meet his. "Say it, Eva."
Her lips trembled. "I… want you."
"Louder."
Tears glistened in her eyes as her voice broke. "Please, Kyel… take me. I need you inside me!"
With a guttural groan, he thrust into her fully, burying himself to the hilt. Eva's cry echoed, her body arching helplessly beneath him.
He began to move, slow and deep, stretching her until she was whimpering, then faster, harder, making her scream his name.
Her nails raked down his back, leaving burning lines. She bit his shoulder, whispering between sobs of pleasure. "Harder, Kyel… don't hold back."
Her shameless begging shattered his restraint. With a growl, he drove into her fiercely, their bodies colliding in wild rhythm, the bed shaking beneath them.
Eva clung to him, her moans growing higher, sharper, until she screamed his name as her climax ripped through her. Her body convulsed around him, tightening so hard he cursed and slammed into her faster, chasing his own release.
"Eva—!" he groaned, thrusting deep one final time, spilling into her with a shudder that left him trembling.
Their bodies were still trembling, the echoes of release rippling through them. Kyel stayed buried inside her, his chest pressed firmly to hers as if he couldn't bear to pull away.
Eva's lashes fluttered against her damp cheeks, her breath coming in soft, broken gasps. Her body was exhausted, yet when he shifted to pull out, her weak arms clung to him desperately.
"Don't… don't let go," she whispered, her voice hoarse.
Kyel froze, staring at her with something raw flickering in his eyes. Slowly, he lowered his weight back onto her, his arms circling her protectively, his lips brushing the top of her head.
"I'm not going anywhere," he murmured, kissing her temple. "Not now… not ever."
Eva's chest trembled as tears escaped. Her voice cracked, soft but desperate.
"Don't push me away again… don't leave me alone in the nights. I really missed you."
Kyel froze, his chest tightening. He cupped her damp cheeks, brushing away her tears with his thumbs.
His lips pressed gently against her trembling eyelids, then her forehead.
"I won't," he whispered firmly, as though swearing an oath to her.
"I promise, Eva… I'll never leave you alone again."
Eva's tears kept falling, but her sobs softened as he pulled her closer into his arms.
He stroked her back slowly, his voice low and steady, murmuring her name again and again until her breathing eased.
"I'm here," Kyel whispered into her hair, pressing a tender kiss there. "Always here."
Her lashes fluttered as the weight of exhaustion pulled her down.
With her face buried against his chest, Eva finally drifted into sleep, her lips curved in the faintest, fragile smile.
Kyel held her tighter, staring into the dark as if guarding her dreams, unwilling to ever let her go.
