"Okay, I admit it..." Amon sighed. "I wouldn't like it."
"See? I can understand you very easily."
Amon smiled. "Alright I will do it...but If you ever start hating the idea of this in the future, just tell me, okay?"
"Yes, I will. I'm not a pushover, after all." Scarlett smirked.
"Okay, then I'll do it!"
Amon finally made up his mind. If he had Scarlett's permission and genuinely developed feelings for someone else, then he shouldn't keep running away from the possibility. He needed to be honest with himself and take responsibility for his choices.
Scarlett nodded in satisfaction.
Amon suddenly leaned forward and wrapped his arms tightly around her.
"Huh?"
Scarlett was momentarily surprised before wrapping her arms around him as well.
"Thanks, Scarlett! I love you the most!"
"I love you too."
She smiled as they remained in each other's embrace for a moment.
