After getting permission from the Headmistress, Professor Davern led Amon toward the dormitories.
A little farther away from the academy's main building, on the left wing, stood the residential area for students. It was massive—almost like its own small estate.
The structure loomed impressively over the nearby grounds, with towering walls and numerous windows. Clearly, this wasn't just some shared boarding house; this was luxury housing disguised as student dorms.
Professor Davern guided Amon to the male dormitory for first-year students. After speaking briefly with the head maid stationed at the front, the professor nodded to Amon and left without another word.
The head maid was a striking woman with neatly tied black hair in a bun and silver-framed glasses resting elegantly on her nose. Her uniform was immaculate, and her posture screamed discipline and grace.
With a calm voice and collected tone, she handed Amon a bronze-colored key attached to a tag.
"It's room number 21, on the third floor," she said, her elegance making even this simple statement sound noble.
Amon accepted the key, slightly taken aback by how refined everything felt.
She added, "Each floor has assigned maids who will handle room cleaning and daily chores while students are away for classes or training. You don't need to worry about those things."
"Thank you, ma'am. See you later," Amon replied, giving a respectful nod. He then headed toward the lift at the side of the entrance.
Taking the lift to the third floor, he stepped out into a wide hallway with well-lit, polished floors. The place smelled like fresh lavender, and he could hear faint instrumental music echoing through magical sound crystals embedded in the walls.
The first room to the right was his.
Sliding the key into the slot, he turned it and opened the door.
The moment he stepped inside, his jaw nearly hit the floor.
"Whoa…"
The room was huge.
A large bed, easily big enough for two people, sat in the middle against the far wall. It was draped in navy blue covers and feather-filled pillows that looked softer than anything he'd ever seen.
A clean wooden desk stood near a wide window, letting in golden-orange rays of the setting sun.
There was even a small private kitchen in a separate corner—modern, enchanted, and fully stocked.
"Oh dear Goddess... this place is far better than my tiny, dirty apartment back in Valerion," Amon muttered in disbelief.
Arcadia Academy wasn't joking around. When they said they were the best, they meant it—and weren't shy about flaunting their wealth.
Setting down his suitcase, he began unpacking. He moved over to the tall, elegant cupboard by the wall and started arranging his modest collection of clothes.
While placing each item with care, Amon couldn't stop grinning.
After he finished organizing, he flopped onto the bed and let out a delighted sigh.
The mattress was absurdly soft. It felt like lying on clouds. Luxurious, enchanted clouds.
"Hehehhe…"
With a craze grin, he began jumping and bouncing on the mattress like an idiot.
"Is this heaven?" he laughed to himself.
After playing around for a few minutes, he calmed down and got off the bed. Still curious, he wandered toward the bathroom door and opened it.
Once again—shock.
The bathroom was spotless, spacious, and had a huge, pristine bathtub made from polished marble.
"Ha! Now this is what you call life!"
He filled the tub with hot water using the crystal-controlled faucets and soaked in the blissfully warm bath for nearly half an hour—his first proper bath in what felt like forever.
After finishing up and drying himself off with the magically warm towels, he slipped into some casual clothes and glanced at the watched on the wall.
It was 7:30 PM.
"Well, I should go find the canteen. Professor Davern mentioned I could even enter the nobles' section with this golden pass…"
Just then, a knock came at his door.
Amon blinked.
"Huh? Who's visiting me already?"
Getting up from his cozy bed, he walked over and opened the door. But to his surprise, no one was standing outside.
Instead, on the ground lay a box—an elegant, beautifully designed package that looked far too expensive to be ordinary.
"What's this now?" he muttered, crouching down to pick it up.
He carried the box inside, placed it on the bed, and opened it with curiosity.
Inside were two full sets of Arcadia Academy's official uniform.
The blazer was tailored and single-breasted, crafted from a sleek, durable black fabric that felt both light and warm to the touch.
The cut was traditional but elegant, with a slightly cinched waist that gave it a sharp and distinguished silhouette. Down the front were three polished pewter buttons, each embossed with a stylized celestial map.
The uniform included tailored black trousers, a high-collared white undershirt made from soft enchanted cotton, and a navy blue tie. The blazer's shoulders were trimmed with navy blue as well—signifying his first-year status.
One standout detail was the Academy's crest, embroidered in silver thread over the breast pocket: a majestic griffin clutching a scroll, surrounded by a laurel wreath, with two crossed swords behind it.
Also inside the box were a pair of black leather boots, reinforced with mana-steel soles to provide both comfort and protection.
"Ohhh this is sharp. Damn, I look rich already," Amon grinned.
But the surprises didn't stop there.
Underneath the uniforms was a small, sleek magical device that looked oddly familiar.
"A... mobile phone?" Amon blinked.
It was known as a mana pager—an enchanted communication tool given to every student by the academy. It functioned like a simplified smartphone.
Though Amon had heard about mana phones before as well it's his first time seeing it.
He tapped it, and the screen glowed to life.
The interface was easy to navigate, with built-in maps of the academy, class schedules, announcements, and a messaging system to communicate with both students and people outside the academy.
It also allowed secure transactions, like buying items from shops or paying for meals.
One only need to open account in the transaction app and filled the information about his bank details and also this is secure and trusted app.
'It's similar to Gpay and Paytm from my last world'he thought
Amon whistled, impressed. "If that's not enough, this baby can even replace a wallet."
Though it lacked many features compared to phones from his past life, in this world, the device was no less than revolutionary.
He neatly stored the uniforms in the cupboard, slipped the pager into his pocket, and opened the academy map.
His next destination: the Cafeteria.
With a smile on his face and a rumble in his stomach, Amon left the dormitory, ready to explore this extravagant new world that had suddenly become his life.
