David: Okay now....this IS huge!!!
Sachika: Are you sure....? It looks tinier than the Dome we had!
The gang had now assembled in front of the Doke that Max travelled in. Sachika and Dagid were witnessing it the first time. David did get amazed by its large size, but due to the Eternal Tome being in effect, it appeared far smaller than the Dome that was split in half in the beach, therefore the statement.
David: Who cares?!? It's still big and large enough as a goddamn villa!!
David turned towards his adopted younger brother, who had removed the gloves on his hand. His universe laden arms was free. David for a second was weirded out by it, but he had been slightly used to it.
David: So, the robot is in here..?
Max: Yupp, pretty much...let's go in..!
Sachika: But isn't the door like.....too tiny..?
Chuck smiled at her. He ran towards it and as soon as he reached the metro long radius around it, he shrunk enough to fit into the door.
David: What the..?
Melissa: It's magic, do not worry.
David: You are talking as if that is a very normal thing..
Max: Well to them, science is abnormal thing...
David nodded in sync with Sachika and his brother. Soon enough, they all followed suite with what Chuck did.
Sachika: This reminds me quite a bit of Platform 9 3/4....
David: Huh? What's that?
Max: A Harry Potter reference...
David was clueless as he entered.
Earlier that day, Max had revealed his arm and declared that he had killed Sarzar, the Ameliorate. It was a huge shock to the new family that he had met. Higurashi was confused. David had always wondered why his brother had blue eyes, but due to a lot of things in his mind, he couldn't bring it up at all. He was also wondering about his strange companions, two of whom carried weapons. And so Max had started explaining everything to them, on their way to the Dome. Sadly, Higurashi missed on all of it, since he had to stay back with Pinky, due to back pain.
With the full story ij mind, David was still not satisfied with it. He was far more concerned for his brother right now than be ever was. His brother was declaring himself a God, and he wanted to know if it's getting in his head and making him more....monstrous.
Sachika: OMG!!!!! NO FRIKKIN WAY!!!!!
Sachika finally met the humble butler robot. Hershel stood in front of them as David was nodding slowly, his eyes widened in surprise, looking at a moving android artificial intelligence. Sachika was going around him, checking the complex mechanisms of the robot.
Hershel: It appears we have guests....would it be your relatives, Master Max?
Max nodded in response.
Max: Yupp. They're my brother and sister-in-law.
David: Wait!? Master?? That serves you??
Hershel: Absolutely! That is my purpose. I've been serving Masters Max, Albert, Melissa, Lanford and Chuck for a while now.
Sachika: Lanford..? You had someone like that in your group?
Lin: I'm gonna kill him...
Lin was obviously angry looking at the robot that called him the wrong name on purpose.
Hershel then asked for their names and Sachika and David answered. With their names added to his database, he brought them coffee. He took them to the dining hall, and Max was ready to show off his temporary home. He began guiding home everywhere, showing all the rooms around them.
They got to the dining area to sit and eat their lunch. Melissa sat in the centre chair, meant for the leader and Max almost cried he didn't get to sit there. Everybody were laughing and eating. Max smiled looking at David in the same table as him. It reminded him of his family dinners.
His dad making stupid jokes and mom being the only one who laughed. Lonnie getting in trouble due to doing stuff that everybody told him not to. Alicia trying her best to sort the fight between David and Max, because they were always bickering about who won their games. Katie just being a little girl beside her mother, watching the chaos unfold, while Denise on her phone, not giving a shit about anyone. It was chaotic, but fun.
David later accompanied Max to his temporary room in the Dome. He opened the drawer and showed his older brother the letter Alicia wrote for them.
David: That is weird....
Max: So...you don't know anything about it..?
David: Nah...I just know that she went to be a doctor and was working for a pharmaceutical company.
Max: She became a doctor..??!?!?!
David sat down next to his brother.
David: It's not much...but I can tell you....what happened in the four years that you were gone...
