đź“– Words That Always Turn Into Wounds
Episode 5: The First Turn
---
As Aaniya stepped out of the courtroom,
She felt like something had ended.
But deep inside, a new battle had just begun.
A battle where she had to write every word, every decision — herself.
The papers only held a verdict of divorce —
But in her eyes, some stories still remained incomplete.
---
> "Miss Aaniya?"
A calm, baritone voice called from behind.
Aaniya stopped.
She turned slowly —
It was him.
Suleman.
The same lawyer who had been representing her since day one.
But today, for the first time… he didn't just feel like a lawyer.
Tall build, perfectly fitted grey suit, clean shave, and intense eyes.
Politeness in his words, gentleness in his tone —
But there was something else in his eyes.
> "Today, you didn't just sign a paper…
You wrote the first page of a new chapter in your life."
Aaniya looked at him, a trace of tiredness in her eyes.
> "I'm not in the mood for motivational quotes, Mr. Suleman."
A soft smile touched Suleman's lips.
> "It wasn't a quote…
It was the truth."
---
He began walking beside her.
Aaniya kept a bit of distance, but she didn't stop him.
> "I don't need anyone. I'm enough on my own," she said.
> "I believe that," Suleman replied.
"But sometimes, someone enters your life not as a need…
But as understanding."
Aaniya stopped.
Her eyes carried that familiar anger —
Or perhaps pain hidden in the dark.
> "Don't turn out like the rest, Mr. Suleman…"
Suleman looked directly into her eyes for the first time.
> "I'm not like anyone else, Aaniya.
And if ever I do seem like them —
Tell me. I'll listen… without lies."
---
Aaniya didn't respond.
She just lowered her eyes softly… and walked ahead.
Behind her, Suleman kept watching.
There was passion in his eyes… and a secret —
A secret that time would slowly reveal.
