"You ready, Athena?" Dr Gary asked her who seemed sceptical about coming to Sarah's parents house without letting her know.
"Yeah, we need to…" Athena sighed, thankfully Gina was supportive towards her now and gave her word to keep an eye on Sarah.
Let's get some damn answers!
The house felt heavier than before. Even the walls seemed to carry sorrow as Athena and Dr. Gary stepped inside. Sarah's parents rose from their seats, eyes carrying that fragile mix of hope and dread.
"Please," Sarah's mother whispered, wringing her hands, "tell me you found something to save him."
Athena forced a small, gentle smile. "We're still running tests… but we need to understand more about his past and his habits."
Gary nodded, slipping into his steady, clinical tone as he pulled out his notebook. "We need to ask you some questions about your son's habits. I know it might be uncomfortable, but it's important. The smallest detail could help us."
