"Ah, Chikiiii!!" Zoey shouted, leaving Mira on the bed and rushing towards me.
Knowing where this is going, I brace myself and lift my arms up just in time for Zoey to glomp me.
"Do you know how much we missed you?"
"But we talk near enough every weak?"
"That's nothing. We used to see each other every day."
"And it was never my choice."
"Pwah, that's the minor stuff."
"Zoey, I think you should get off of Chiki."
"Nooo, never. You can't make me get off of Chiki, Mira, he might disappear on us."
"I mean, he has already escaped from your clutches already Zoey."
Mira's revelation caused Zoey to freeze.
She opened her eyes and was met with the sight of a huge stuffed teddy bear.
Slowly, she turned her head around and locked eyes with me where I had my arm wrapped around Mira's shoulder and her arm around my waist.
Tears slowly trickled down her cheeks.
I sigh as I relent, taking my arm off Mira and walk over to Zoey, who now is on the floor.
"Your puppy dog eyes should have stopped when you were a child Zoey." I say to her as I gently pat her head.
"sniffWoof Woof sniff" Her reply made me freeze and back away.
"Teeheeheehee I knew I could make you faulter." Zoey said now standing up and pointing her hand in the sky.
Mira watched on amused, seeming to have missed our interaction.
"And you Miss all nonchalant, how can you find this amusing."
"It's funny seeing Zoey clamped up to you. It just looks dope the bond you share." Mira replied.
"I don't know how a short time of being in this country a few months ago, had made this little fire jet so clingy. I'm not even her type." I reply back, baffled by this whole logic of the timeline not making sense.
Is this what it's actually like being in an anime world. I even got together with Rumi that quick.

What the actual fuck is this timeline been about.
"Hey Chiki? Why do you look like you seen a ghost?" Mira questioned.
"Mira, you all have met each other for a long time that's why you guys hit it off so well. Yet I only know you for a short while and somehow you guys are close to me as if I have been with you from the start. The hell is this timeline of events?" I look at her and answer.
Mira and Zoey look at each other and then suddenly burst out laughing.
"Oh Chiki, that's how much you fit well with Huntr/x. don't be overthinking the details." Mira tried and reassured me. Or I assumed that's what she was doing as it hadn't fucking helped.
An awkward silence then followed as no one wanted to speak. Zoey and Mira now realising that one person isn't present during this meeting.
Not wanting to make the awkwardness last longer, I decided to speak, to break the tension up.
"I think it's best i-"
"Yeah, your right, you should go."
"Yeah, your right you should go."
Before I could even finish my sentence, both Mira and Zoey spoke up, before zipping away out of the room.
I remain seated at the spot I was at and continue to stare at the now empty place I was looking at just a second ago.
"Well then."
I slowly start to get up and head towards the bathroom. The scene before quickly leaving my brain and just moving on from all that mess.
I never knew I could ever be nervous about opening a bathroom door. But seeing how this door will lead me to an encounter that could reopen old memories.
Heh.

As I reach my hand up to knock on the bathroom door, I hear Rumi's voice inside, making me pause.
Knock Knock Knock
"Yo…. Rumi…. It's me. Can I come in?" I ask.
Silenced followed making me unsure if even Rumi would open the door. But I won't be moving until I hear an answer from the woman herself.
"E-erm… yeah…. Give me a minute." She responded after a brief pause, appearing slightly unsteady. Probably surprised to have heard my voice.
A few moments pass where she didn't say anything after, nor did I say anything and just allowed her to be ready in her own time.
I didn't need to wait any longer as the door to the bathroom opened a little, but she didn't show her face to me.
Taking it as a sign to enter, I slowly open the door and walk in, making sure to close the door behind me for a bit of privacy.
I don't move once I enter. I just take in the sight of her sat on the bathroom floor with her knees close to her chest.
Then, I slowly move towards her, standing in front of her, facing her, then slowly lowering myself so I'm opposite her.
"Hey." I say, trying to make conversation.
"I'm surprised that your back." She simply replies.
"Well, to be honest. I wouldn't have come here if Zoey didn't request my presence to attend your concert. Which I heard by her that it got cancelled.
"But then I had a business proposal that I wanted to start with Zoey, so then I decided to come over and hit 2 birds with 1 stone."
"…"
Rumi stayed in silence, most likely not sure on how to talk to me. Understandable since we stopped talking after I parted ways when I got rejected.
"Hey." I say gently.
"Hmm." She says weakly, raising her knees close to her chest.
"How are you?" I ask.
"I'm better now, thanks for asking."
"I see Golden has been doing bits. Congrats on a new popular song."
"Thank you, we have been working hard on that song."
"Yeah, I know. You did say you were starting this song, I believe, before I went back to Japan."
"Oh, yeah. I forgot."
Me and Rumi stayed in silence. I figured she must be uncomfortable with me being here since she did reject me.
I look down, away from her face slightly, chuckling a bit at what I finally registered.
"You still kept them, Pj's?"
Rumi, finally looked at me, blinking in confusion, before looking down at her teddy bear and train pyjama bottoms.
"Well…. Yeah. They were a gift from you." She replied, her eyes showing traces of nostalgia.
"I know, it wouldn't mean much… I'm glad you kept some stuff from me." I say, a smile on my face.
We didn't talk much, just talking about small stuff here and there. The topic of why the concert was called off wasn't brought up by either off us.
Until now.
"You probably wanted to see the concert huh?" Rumi asked me out of nowhere.
I rub the back of my neck.
"To be honest, I'm not a concert person. It's why I don't do concerts or festivals back home. But I would have loved to support you regardless of that fact." I say honestly.
"However, there was also another reason why I came here, and that was because I will be doing a business project with Zoey."
"Eh, Zoey?" Why her?" Rumi questioned, almost sounding like a demand.
"Well, I think this would suit her nicely. Plus, she is the youngest in the group, so I wanted her to feel like she had something of her own away from the group." I answer her regardless.
She stayed quiet after that; I assume a bit pleased Zoey has something of her own.
From what I could remember, Rumi has something going on with Celine since she is the lead singer and main girl in the group, Mira is the eldest and with her coming from a rich background, she may have some stuff in the background. And Zoey being a half American and half Korean, she seemed to be left out in a way. Knowing Rumi telling Zoey to slow down in songwriting, and Mira trying her best to take Zoey away to relax and calm her energetic self.
I at least could help Zoe with having her own thing away from Huntr/x where she can feel like she doesn't have to prove herself.
Rumi probably figured it out and seemed happy that there is potential for Zoey.
"Anyway, since we have talked a bit. I have a question I want to ask?" I say to Rumi.
"Ok, go and ask me." She replied.
I take a deep breath and get ready to start getting serious.
"Your lyric 'no more hiding'. Is this why you couldn't commit."
Rumi stayed silent, not saying a word and just looking down at her feet.
"Yes it does, but I can't tell you yet why. Just…." Rumi started speaking but cut herself off.
I'm actually shocked she admit that to me so soon. For and anime world, this tends to get dragged on until that secret gets found out later on in series and the mc is al like 'how could you lie to me' and all that. But for her to be a bit truthful. Mental.
"I see."
"Whilst you're on about me, let's talk about you." Rumi says suddenly confronted me. She whips out her phone from whoever knows and plays a song.

"Isn't it obvious." I reply casually.
The song isn't my song, but I did find it fitting during the fae I was going through.
Heartbreak is a real thing.
"So I hurt you that much. I'm sorry." Rumi apologised, shaking in sadness.
"Ayo let's not become too emotional about this yeah. Just relax yourself." I reassured her.
But fair play to her for switching it up on me.
"Right, I think I better leave now." I say, getting up, stretching and then heading to the door.
"Ah, Ok."
"I forgot to check in downstairs and just came straight up here, since Zoey asked me to stay over, I best check in to a room." I say to her, trying to let her know that I will be close by, just in case anything is needed.
"Pffft. HAHAHAHAHAHA."
"Ayo, why you laughing? What's funny?" I turn around and question her, letting go of my hand off the door after I opened it.
"This building is owned by us, Huntr/x. So, you don't need to check in or anything. Didn't you see our logo at the top of the building?" she replies, trying her best not to cry in laughter.
I just stare at her, mind going blank over this realisation.
"Why do you own a building all to yourselves? How does that make sense? How rich are you lot? This hurts my brain to even think about the logic in this whole set up. I'm leaving." So many questions and so many words cam out my mouth and I just ended up hurting my one brain cell.
I just did the smartest thing and just left. Got my back, and went to a random room and stayed in there.
All the while Rumi informed Mira and Zoey, and they ended up laughing.

A new day has started, and I feel like shit.
Yep, didn't sleep well last night.
And I can't blame it on anyone but me.

When did they decide to buy a whole apartment building just for themselves.

"…I see. Well I'm just taking a stroll down here now, so you take your time. Just looking for some sweets for Koneko and games for Sora and Shiro. You lot take your time."
"Ah, ok. I'll ring back soon for when we are ready."

"This woman just ignored me, didn't she?" I sigh, looking at my phone and the picture of me and Zoey over the end call. I think I regret coming here.

I continue walking down the backstreets of the shopping district, hiding away so that I don't get mobbed by fans.
The posters of Mira, Zoey and Rumi are still up, surprisingly after the concert got cancelled last night.
To be fair, it is understandable since they are a big k pop group that everyone knows so their popularity isn't something to scoff at.
I carry on walking down the less busy streets, going in and out of sweet shops, gaming shops. Looking around and still surprised that my business proposal idea isn't well known in this world. Unless it is because it's a mix of Highschool DxD and No game no life but in a slice of life form.

I stop in my tracks suddenly and look around my location.
"Why is there a bunch of people now and why are they running towards the centre?" I say out loud quietly, confused about this sudden events.
I decide to follow along and come across a massive box in the middle.
Right on cue as I stop walking, the box suddenly opens up and 5 boys come popping out.

All around me people were shouting, cheering and singing the song.
One thing I am glad for, is that them boys drew the attention away from me so I can be out in the open.
But honestly, that song was shit.
"Ooooh Chiki, you're here?"
I turn around and see 3 women covering themselves with there hoods, the laces pulled tightly, making the hoods sink into their heads.
"Well, there was this commotion going on, so I couldn't help but see what the fuss was about." I reply.
"These people seem dangerous. Do becarefu around them Chiki." Mira spoke up, concern lased in her voice.
"Have you just heard that song?" I ask. Zoey jumped about giddy.
"Yep, how could we not hear it. That song was-
So good."
"So shit."
"Whaaaaat!!!?"
"Whaaaaat!!!?"
"Ehhhhhhh!!!?"
"What?" I ask the 3 women, confused by their reaction.
"O-oh, nothing, don't worry about hehe." Mira quickly spoke up, glancing at Rumi and Zoey ads she giggled.
"Oookay? Anyway, since you're here Zoey, come, let's go over this business proposal." I say, quickly changing the subject.
The woman in question jumped up ecstatic and quickly came over to my side.
"Yayyyy, let's goooo."
And with that we moved away from the group.
We made our way to a noodle shop and sat down in a private booth.
"So, what is the idea?" Zoey asked, sipping her drink with unblinking eyes.
"We will be starting a bubble tea shop, and later turn it into a chain if it becomes popular."
"Ehh? Bubble tea? What's that?"
AN: back with another chapter, made it bit longer since I have delayed this for too long.
I've just been ill and was busy with work and tired from gym.
I am also thinking about streaming, so have been preparing for that as well.
