It's been a few weeks since me and Inna decided on the new schedule.
During those weeks I learned some new methods of self improvement and studying which I'm trying to master now.
Those methods entered into my life well, i could still do my usual activities, which created a more organized schedule.
For what it worth, i think our relationship is very fruitful, and it helped a lot, i think I'm on the right track here...
"I don't think we made any progress, there's something missing that's holding us back..."
"Really?!, i mean.. I'm not on that level of intelligence and organizing as you, but considering the time we spent we should be heading there."
"Please, don't give that!, you should be on another level right now, considering the time we spent together in comparison to other of my cases, i feel like this objectif is still too far."
Inna's words hurt me a little, but i still could respond to it. Not with my usual calming response, but with a response that leans more towards her.
"Well honestly, i think it's a differs from a person to another, i don't have that great of a foundation, or at least for the last couple of years."
"You never found a similar case to me that you to use other methods to fix them?."
Inna looked at me with a sharp fast look, like something just come out of her mind.
"I see... A lot of people wouldn't be able to tolerate this method, a really small portion out of people would find this method helpful... But it's very costly and can really turn your life upside-down."
"Costly? Like it's expensive?."
"No, your life that you know right now after using this method will be unrecognizable, you will look at your life back and think, was i really like this, you get me?."
"That sounds like a dynamic shift, and I'm really scared of those."
"Afraid or not, you will never achieve what you want without acting like it."
"... I think there's no harm on trying it, and like you said the method is not for everyone, so if it does actually work, that would be awesome."
"Don't think about it like that. The special thing is how far you can go, the method itself guarantees a success, now what differ is the degree of dedication, that's what differs between people."
"People?... I can tell you have done this before on the other cases so i won't be difficult on it or anything. Please, let's start."
I was very excited to try this technique, i had no idea what it's about but since i will be under Inna's supervision, i will participate in it.
"Okay, i will tell you what you should do..."
"When i tell you to do something, and i see that you executed it well, i will reward you with something you seek, it could be anything that you cherish a lot, is it clear?."
I took a little moment to think before i responded.
"Hmm... Can it be... You. Hear me out."
"What... What do you want from me?!."
"Please Inna don't get weirded out—from the beginning of our sessions i was looking up to you because you're like an angel who wants to help me..."
Inna was showing a complex feelings of confusion and discomfort before she calmed down and responded.
"You're a weirdo Ruby... But fine, i will accept that as your cherished thing. Even though it's unprofessional for me as your mentor to do so."
"Now, you have just set the element that you will always think about and work for, if you have a duty to do, you're going to use me to mesure your success, if I'm happy that means you're doing a good job and you will see that happiness as the reward you just cherished."
"But if I'm unhappy, you're going to take that as a punishment and you will work harder to change that."
"If you do a great job you will get praising words from me, directly to you, more great jobs and you will get my absolute praising service."
"Absolute praising service... You mean!!"
"Exactly, you will be washed in it."
"On contrary, if you disappoint me you will get threatening scolding words, or even worse, my complete ignorance of you."
"Ooooo, that would completely hurt me."
Inna opened a note book and started lining it page and writing on it.
"Listen Ruby, you need to be a hard working student who will do what she told to do and seek my praising, it's a very simple job and you are going to learn discipline during the whole process. Don't be reckless girl, okay?."
"Me!, reckless?!, after that offer i would never do something that will disappoint you again, i will be so obedient and efficient for you..."
"Thank you so much for this offer you have no idea how happy that made feel."
Inna looked satisfied with the response, she pulled up some papers and said.
"Alright then, here's your first assignment, umm, since you were incapable of reading my novel, over the silly excuse of you can't understand what's written, your first assignment will be English."
"Hehe... English huh? Okay, I'm ready!"
Inna just opened the academic book.
"You have this part of the material we studied, you should go through them Ruby and use these externe references to make a complete summary of those lessons..."
I remembered those times when i was studying by myself at home.
I should have enough experience to do what she just said.
So i responded confidently assuring Inna that I'll be doing her assignments as i was excited to start on it.
"That sounds great, I'll make a nice summary of all the material we studied, and I'll work hard on it."
Inna looked very concerned, she didn't buy it, so she just reminded me of how serious the method could change me.
"I'm giving you my finest self fixing method, you better take it serious and don't make me regret it."
Even with the threatening tone, i didn't feel it too much, i just relaxed more and delivered a worm response.
"Sure thing Inna, I'll never make you regret spending time with me, don't worry at all, I'm your devoted student."
Her face relaxed, she leaned back and looked at the window, which made me turn to it too and turn back to her.
I thought to myself, why are you so damn perfect, before i focus again after she turned to look at me.
...
After the session i went back home, while Inna continued her after school activities.
I set a goal to finish Inna's assignment, so i brought out the materials and started to set up a plan to divide the lessons equally until i finish at the deadline.
I made sure that nothing distract me during the study time and do what i can do for Inna, it going to be just like our sessions, but without her and her guidance, only hard work and high expectations to reach. I'll learn to take things seriously and acheive my dreams...
...
It's monday, time has passed so quick, tomorrow i should give Inna the summaries... That i didn't do.
There's no way i can finish them today, and if i go with the work i did so far, she's not going to be happy.
During times like this, when i feel a threat that's about to happen, i just calm down and think about it thoroughly, i still have time to do something.
... The next day ...
"Okay Ruby let me see what you have done for me."
I handed her some papers, while feeling a little nervousness.
She took them and looked at them. She kept looking at them silently until...
"Wow. I can't believe it, it's so organized and professionally writen, not like you used a tool or anything but, it's like you are very well versed of the course. I'm so proud of you Ruby."
I couldn't react clearly, should i be happy or not, either way, i will enjoy this praising treatment from Inna, finally.
"Honestly I didn't think that this method would work on you, consid-"
"STOP! DON'T BELIEVE HER! SHE'S A FRAUD!"
Oh my god! Please leave me alone!
