Chapter 7 - chapter7

"System," I said softly.

Zhen Shunshun froze as if struck by lightning. "How did you know..."

"Know what?" I tilted my head and played dumb.

She took two steps back. Smiling, she said, "It doesn't matter. You'll regret this very soon."

With that, she slammed the door and left.

That night, my fitness tracker and scale vanished.

At 3 AM, a piercing noise jolted me awake—Zhen Shunshun was blasting heavy metal music at maximum volume from the speakers next door.

Neither Mom nor Grandma came out to stop it. I plugged in earplugs and noted the time: "Day 97, 3:15 AM. Sleep was deliberately disrupted."

The next morning, the healthy meal I'd prepared in the kitchen was gone. The fridge held only a box of cream cake, sticky-noted with: **"Eat up, fatty!"**

I snapped a photo and uploaded it to my social media: **"Someone's scared."** Then I went to school on an empty stomach.

During break, Mo Wen slipped me a lunchbox. "Chicken breast salad. I made extra. This one's for you."

"Thank you," I said, my nose tingling. In my past life, by this point, I'd already succumbed to a binge-eating breakdown from chronic starvation.

Returning home, I found my door pried open, and all the clothes in my wardrobe slashed to pieces. Lipstick scrawled "DIE" across my vanity. I switched on my phone's live stream function, calmly filming the wrecked room: "Hi everyone, no weight loss tips today. Just showing you my sister's masterpiece."

The comments exploded instantly:

[OMG this is domestic abuse!]

[All that fake sisterly affection before!]

[Streamer, call the police!]

Ten minutes later, the stream was cut off—Zhen Shunshun had reported me.

But the video had already been saved by thousands.

At dinner, Grandma pointed her chopsticks at me. "Family scandals should stay within the family! How dare you broadcast it?"

"My room being destroyed isn't a family scandal; it's a crime," I set down my chopsticks. "I've kept all the evidence."

Mom paled. "Shunshun, did you do this?"

Zhen Shunshun burst into hysterical sobs. "She stole everything from me! Mom, classmates, fans... and now even Zheng Kai..."

"Zheng Kai?" Mom looked at me, bewildered.

"I've rejected him three times," I said coldly. "Sis forced him to get close to me, just to fish out my so-called 'weight loss secret'."

Zhen Shunshun snapped her head up. "You bugged me?"

"Need to?" I pulled out my phone and played the recording Zheng Kai had provided.

After the recording finished, the dining room was deathly silent.

Mom's hands trembled, but Grandma slammed the table. "Fake! Shunshun would never say such things!"

"Grandma," I asked quietly, "do you truly not recognize your own granddaughter's voice?"

Mom stood up and left the table.

Zhen Shunshun glared at me with pure venom. "You've won... for now."

That night, I slept behind my securely locked door, a fruit knife hidden beneath my pillow.

It's not that I'm afraid she'll hurt me; I'm afraid she'll hurt herself and then blame it on me.

**Day 100, Morning Weight: 63.5kg.**

I took a comparison photo in front of the full-length mirror. The left picture is me three months ago at 80kg (160 *jin*), the right picture is me now at 63.5kg (127 *jin*).

Same school uniform, completely different silhouette.

The moment I posted it to "Transformation Records," I got a comment from Mo Wen:

"'OMG, what a change! Can I interview you? The school paper is doing a health feature.'

I replied, agreeing, and also sent her a private message: **'Careful with my sister.'**

My phone vibrated – an MMS from an unknown number. A photo of Zhen Shunshun's hospital wristband, captioned: **' This is your doing.'** I saved the picture but didn't reply.

Only Grandma was at the breakfast table.

"'Your sister is in the hospital. Your mother is with her," she said coldly. **"'Happy now?'"**

"'What's wrong with her?'"

"'Malnutrition, 38.5kg!'"** Grandma slammed down her chopsticks. **"'The doctor says if she loses any more weight, she'll die!'"
