There are 5 Eras in the world of Creato. They are known as the Intelligence Eras. They aren't directly linked to human evolution or the advancement of technology. Instead, they're linked to the advancement of intelligence gathered in the world.
The First Era was the Survival Era, this ironically is in fact linked to the development of technology. This Era was when humans figured out how to make tools, housing, and survive.
The reason it's called the Survival Era however, is different from how it sounds. It was not about the humans learning how to thrive and build, but about actual survival. Many horrific creatures and plant life ruled the planet, and learning how to survive was what earned this an Era title. Out of all of them, this is the least worthy to be known as an Era.
The First Era lasted for about five centuries until the Second Era arrived. The Second Era is known as the Flora Era.
The Flora Era began with the researcher Sydney Dawn, a woman from what would soon be known as the Kingdom of Ewon, and her seemingly insane passion to learn of the plants that threatened the human race.
She contributed to the beginning of the studies on Trappers, Vipers, Zenras, and Crones. Not only that, but her methods became the go-to way for researchers for the next two thousand years. She is one of the five most influential researchers of that time. The five were, Sydney Dawn, Aiden Crow, Jean Reaper, Charles Walker, and Theresia Martinez.
The next Era is the shortest Era. The Era of Magic. This Era started with the discovery of magic, and the abilities that came with it. Not only were human beings able to figure out how to use magic, but they figured out how to bestow abilities on tools, animals, and other humans. There are many different types of magic, and the most common skills for them are Earth, Fire, Water, Wind, Energy, Space, Shadow, and Light.
The five most important researchers or sorcerers of this Era were Tarin Quisha, Mezo Brauser, Jacob Saxon, Erin Quartz, and Alexander Gray. Each one of these scientists contributed to at least a substantial amount of information gathering in a certain pathway. During this Era, Kingdoms and Empires began to form, and many advancements were made in combat and technological areas.
The Fourth Era is the Fauna Era. This Era was the Intelligence Era where the humans began their studies on the other creatures inhabiting Creato.
The discovery of magic allowed for this to happen, as animals were able to be restrained and killed quickly. Major leaps were done in culinary and hunting skills as well, and the study of Crags, Flemons, Serpents, and Cricklits took off. This Era lasted for 500 years, and the next Era began rather quickly.
The Five Scientists who contributed the most to the studies of the Fauna Era were Bree Quisle, Neciss Menia, Loen Starr, Isiah Hunnim, and Ava Donn.
The most recent Era of the 5th Era is the Era of Civilization. The humans made advancements in politics, justice systems, and began to spread out. Kingdoms and Empires, though vaguely already existing, were now firmly enforced and humans began to rule Creato.
