Chapter 75 - Chapter 75. Illusions and Fury

The Next Morning.

Dressed neatly with a long sword at his waist, Yuto arrived at Konoha's eastern training ground.

According to Tsunade's original words, starting today, she would teach him practical taijutsu for real combat.

Of course.

While it was technically framed as taijutsu training, both Tsunade and Yuto knew the truth—this was purely an excuse for her to settle a personal grudge!

After a short wait, Tsunade strode onto the field in a silver-gray training outfit with Shizune.

Her golden hair was tied back into a single ponytail, her bright brown eyes fixed on Yuto with a smirk curling on her lips. "Not bad, you're on time. I half-expected you to make excuses or fake an illness today. Guess I didn't need to drag you out of your house after all."

"Because I knew it'd be pointless, Tsunade sensei," Yuto replied mildly.

"Hmph. At least you're not stupid." She rolled her wrists, cracking her knuckles. "Today, I'll teach you the mechanics of superhuman strength. First, focus chakra into a single point in your palm. Then—"

*BAM!*

Without warning, her fist rocketed toward Yuto. A deafening BOOM shook the ground as the impact carved out a crater several meters wide.

Debris flew. Dust billowed.

"T-Tsunade-sama!" Shizune, standing behind her, gaped in horror. "That's way too reckless!"

"Relax, Shizune," Tsunade said, shooting her a glance. "For a real genius, hands-on combat is the best way to improve. Besides, this brat isn't like you, no offense you are an excellent medical ninja, but you've got zero talent for fighting." (Rude)

As the dust cleared, Shizune's eyes widened.

"Is that mist?"

"Hmph. The brat's signature move," Tsunade smirked. "That flashy illusion technique that stunned the whole village. What was it called again?"

"Kyouka Suigetsu." Yuto's voice suddenly rang out from beside her as his figure materialized. "Its name is Kyouka Suigetsu."

"Wha—? When did he get there?!" Shizune gasped.

*Swish!*

A razor-sharp arc of blade light sliced through the air.

Even Tsunade had to dodge, leaping back to avoid the strike. "So you've even mastered the Second Hokage's 'Dance of the crescent moon' technique? Brat, you're full of surprises. At this point, you could probably take on a regular jonin by yourself, huh?"

"What?! Yuto's already at jonin level?!"

Shizune clutched her face, struggling to process this. A kid still in the Academy, yet strong enough to rival a jonin? That was unprecedented in Konoha's history!

Then again… this was the same little freak of nature who'd mastered the Chakra Scalpel in five minutes and improved it. Maybe she shouldn't be that shocked?

"I believe there's still room for improvement, Tsunade sensei," Yuto said humbly.

"Ugh, fake modesty is just another way to show off!" Tsunade's eye twitched. "You know this attitude of yours is infuriating, right?"

On the surface, Yuto seemed like the picture of a polite, humble prodigy.

But Tsunade knew better.

This little demon's true nature was pure, unfiltered menace to society. A truly humble person wouldn't have demanded a "piggy back ride" just to humiliate her—especially not in front of the Third Hokage, doubling the embarrassment!

"Would an apology make you feel better, Tsunade-sensei?" Yuto asked earnestly.

*TWITCH.*

That single sentence lit Tsunade's temper like a fuse. "Oh-ho-ho! Seems like someone needs an extra intensive training session today!"

'You little sh—!'

Either apologize properly or shut up! That fake, saccharine "offer" was just rubbing salt in the wound!

"Heavenly foot of pain!"

Without hesitation Tsunade unleashed her ultimate taijutsu.

Her kick hit the earth like a meteor, reducing the ground to rubble. A jagged trench, dozens of meters long, tore through the field as dust clouds mushroomed into the sky.

"Wow, she actually lost her temper that easily?" Mikoto's mocking voice echoed from the Spirit Pearl. "The legendary Sannin's patience is pathetic."

"Or maybe your little man's just that good at pushing buttons," Kushina sighed. "Where'd he even learn to roast people like that? Anyone would see red after that!"

"From Lux," Yuto said casually, now lounging in the shadows at the edge of the field, watching Tsunade battle thin air. "If Tsunade sensei's holding a grudge, might as well let her blow off steam."

"Lux?"

"Sounds like a girl's name?"

Both women narrowed their eyes suspiciously.

"A character from a game," Yuto explained. "Her post kill voice lines."

"You're evil" Kushina groaned. "You know Tsunade-nee has a short fuse, yet you still taunted her like that?"

"Her temper isn't his problem," Mikoto sniffed.

"Oho~? Is Someone jealous~?" Kushina grinned, nudging her. "But when those little girls cling to Yuto, you don't react at all. What, they're not 'threatening' enough?"

Mikoto paused, then turned away. "…No."

"PFFT—! Mikoto-chan, you're so bad at lying!" Kushina cackled, pulling her into a cheek-squishing hug. "And adorable when flustered!"

"Stop it, I'm not Yuto—"

"Hey, wanna ditch the brat and just marry me instead?"

"…You're insane."

*BOOOOOOM!*

Another explosion cut them off.

The right side of the training field had been erased—trees, grass, everything—leaving only a smoldering pit.

"Damn, Tsunade-nee's crazy strong!" Kushina whistled.

"And yet, Yuto's still toying with her," Mikoto said dryly. "She doesn't even realize she's fighting an illusion. Pathetic."

"Well, that's Kyouka Suigetsu for you," Kushina shrugged. "Hell, he could sneak into your room at night, do all sorts of things, and you'd still blame it on 'drinking too much milk' the next morning."

"PFFT—!"

Both Mikoto and Yuto choked at the highly specific analogy, their faces twitching violently.
