Chapter 1 - chapter 1

*Sigh...*

A boy let out a heavy sigh as he sat at the back of a classroom filled with kids around 11 or 12 years old. At the front, the teacher droned on about chakra theory and shinobi history, but the boy wasn't listening.

His name was Haru, and at first glance, he looked like just another quiet student. But he wasn't just a kid. In reality, he was a man in his twenties who had somehow woken up in this weak, frail body only thirty minutes ago.

Everything was hazy. He couldn't remember exactly what had happened or how he got here. At first, he felt on the verge of a panic attack. But somehow, he managed to calm himself down. The memories of the boy whose body he now inhabited began to flood his mind.

The boy was an orphan, currently in his final year at the Ninja Academy in the Hidden Leaf Village. The moment the realization hit—that he was now inside the Naruto world, a world of war, jutsu, and terrifyingly powerful beings—he sighed again, deeper this time.

"S-Sensei," Haru said, raising his hand. "I—I'm not feeling very well. Can I go to the nurse's office?"

The teacher looked up from her notes. "Ah, yes. If you're not feeling well, go ahead. Do you want someone to accompany you?"

"It's fine, Sensei. I'll go alone."

As Haru stood up and walked out, his eyes briefly passed over a classmate a kid with shiny black hair, round eyes, and thick eyebrows, dressed in a white short-sleeved kimono shirt.

'Strange... I feel like I've seen him somewhere before,' Haru thought, but couldn't quite place it.

Haru walked through the academy halls with a strange familiarity, as if the memories in his head were guiding him. He reached the nurse's office and found it empty, so he quietly laid down on the bed. A mirror beside it caught his reflection.

A skinny kid with spiky grey hair, light blue eyes, and plain gray clothes someone who looked like background filler in a crowd shot.

'So this is me now. A total nobody. Cannon fodder,' Haru thought bitterly.

He sighed again and began planning.'I could try living as a civilian... but with how dangerous this world is, I doubt I'd survive long. Any shinobi could kill me in an instant, let alone the monsters coming in the future.'

"That settles it. I'll become a shinobi," Haru said out loud.

Problem is, graduation is just 3 or 4 months away, and this kid is the dead last in his class. Let's just hope I've got a decent amount of chakra. But from the way things look, I'm not getting my hopes up.

"Uh-oh, hey kid. You're not skipping class, are you?" a woman's voice said as she entered.

She looked to be in her early twenties, wearing a white coat with long purple hair tied back casually.

"No, I just felt a bit lightheaded... thought I'd rest here for a bit," Haru replied, touching his forehead.

"I'm kidding," she said, smiling as she sat beside him. "Still, light-headedness in kids like you usually comes from poor diet or sometimes anxiety or panic attacks."

She placed a hand on his wrist and began checking him.

"You should be careful about what you eat. Let me guess you're an orphan, right?"

Haru blinked in surprise. "How did you know?"

She smiled knowingly. "Orphans, especially academy students, often skip meals or spend their money on unhealthy food. It's a common pattern. Anyway, you seem fine. Just rest a bit and you'll be okay."

"Uhm, Miss... are you also a shinobi?"

"You can call me Sensei. And yes," she said proudly. "I'm actually a Chūnin pretty impressive, right? Not everyone gets this far. Who knows, I might even make Jōnin one day."

"Wow... then could you maybe check how much chakra I have?"

"Huh? That's an unusual request. But alright, let's see." She placed a hand on his chest and closed her eyes. A moment passed.

"Hmm. That's unusual."

"What is it? Too low?" Haru asked, worried.

"No... actually, it's the opposite." She opened her eyes, smiling. "You have a lot of chakra. Far more than I expected from an academy student. Honestly, even clan kids usually don't have this much. You might even have more chakra than some Jōnin I know."

Haru blinked. "That's... awesome. Thank you, Sensei."

"Don't let it get to your head. Chakra alone won't make you strong. Although, looking at your frail body, it must be mostly because of your spiritual energy."

"Uh... what? I don't understand," Haru said, looking at her with a confused face.

"Well, as everyone knows, chakra is a mixture of both physical and spiritual energy. I think that if you train in taijutsu, it's very possible your chakra will increase even more," the woman said, then continued, "Anyway, that's just a theory. Now, don't let it get to your head. Just having chakra isn't enough. Anyone can become powerful with enough effort. Now, get some rest."

She stood up to leave.

"Wait, Sensei what's your name? I'm Haru, by the way."

She looked back. "Hosino Reika. Rest well, Haru."

After she left, Haru lay there, staring at the ceiling. More chakra than a Jōnin, huh? That's really unusual... Maybe it has something to do with me transmigrating into this body.

He remained in the nurse's office until the end of the school day. Thanks to the original Haru's memories, he found his way through the village and back to the modest little apartment he now called home.

The first thing he noticed was the smell and all trash lying around what do you expect from an orphan kids fortunately academy does give stipend to him he ignored all of things and went to sleep.
