Chapter 1 - The champion blank

The town known as Borisk is a unique town found on the best continent, named after the four-armed bear known for wandering through deserts seeking strong opponents. The city's main attraction, or the locals' only attraction, is its large Coliseum. And of course, a day of all days is one of the highlights of the Coliseum's use of the championships tournament, a King of the hillside tournament where the reigning champion of the town must fight off for a whole day against any and every Challenger. If the winner wins, they get a massive reward of 1 million gems. If someone beats them, they not only get the 1 million. They also gave the title of champion.

In the waiting room of the Coliseum, a young boy with a headband sits quietly waiting for his turn. He's standing at his wrists, which have a pink headband around them.

Boy: I won't abandon you.

He matters to himself, considering the one person he has left. Soon, a large quake emanates from the upper center of the arena. Traveling into the waiting room, letting the boy know that it is his turn to enter the ring, and the cage-like door rises, revealing the guard who is to guide him into the arena.

Guard: Your next.

Lovely fellows, the guard. Ouch into the open sunlight. Feeling the desert heat as it swoops into the arena, only to be pushed out by the jeers. And the laughter of the crowd of spectators who somehow managed to keep the air flowing.

Announcer: I think we can all agree that that last one took quite the plunge, but this next one's quite the treat for all you fans of child abuse, a young boy by the name of Hold Up. Hey. What do you mean, that's his name? Oka,y ladies and gentleme,n give it u,p four blank mare. the

As Blank is guided to the arena with the guard standing post at the entrance, many spectators start to boo and laugh, thinking he's foolish for a young man to take on a full Lord adult.

Standing at the center of the ring is the town's reigning champion. The ultimate contradiction in age is a older man wearing a Spartan helmet with the most aged beard and face imaginable. Yet, the most toned muscles the world's ever seen are in his hand as a sword. A simple Master blade made of bronze, of course, being a gladiator himself, he stands shirtless, but has canceled it at least.

The older man glares down at Blank.

A young boy with black hair wearing a headband that had seen better days. Notable traits were his bag of hands. His stiletto boots and the poncho covering his midsection may have hidden weapons. He had his doubts, though, given his youth, the chances of him being an assassin were low.

Champion: little kid. I'm a grandfather myself. It pains me to have to hurt a child as young as you. I'll give you a chance to walk away.

Blank shook his head.

Since you have family, I'm sure you can understand, but there's no backing down for me.

The two stood silently staring at each other, waiting for the match to begin. The announcer shouted in his obnoxious voice.

Announce: Hershey versus Blank. Let the match begin.

Without hesitation, Hershey slashed his blade at Blank, but Blank was already gone, and it appeared right past the blade in front of the champion's chest. He struck a punch in the abdomen, but no damage was done.

Clicking his tongue blankly kicked off, creating tremendous distance. She noted his immobility. His hand was a bit bruised, but nothing too major. He then noted where he punched at most, a light stuff—no actual bruising or in Hershey's chest.

Blank wiped his fist off on his pants to try to endure the pain. Then got into a running stance with his poncho hiding his hands.

Hershey glared, taking note of this. He adjusted his stance and then went for a wide swing, creating a gale wind effect. He dashed into the wind, using the zigzag motions while keeping his head low to the ground.

When Blake zeroed in, he immediately went for 20 consecutive jobs at the same position he had struck before, realizing the boy was harmless. She went for an over-the-head swing of his blade, trying to enter but not kill.

Blank spotted the blade from the corner of his eye and jumped. The moment it swoops in, landing on top of the blade, launching into the ground. He used the added height to go for Hersch's jaw, lining a square head—a little scratch but nothing serious. The abdomen was a bit bruised, but nothing worth writing home about.

Noticing these two sites blank, he used himself again, forming a history retreat. Percy got annoyed and forced his blame out of the ground. Whipping up a sand scre,, en he approached the,b, oy planning to strike him dmid-retreat, re,atthe boyblank could feel his movement in the wind without much resistance. He did a spin and kicked off Hershey's abdo, men lunging him back and sending himself forward.

Hershey looked up, shocked that he ended up against one of the arena's walls, then looked down at the giant bruise on his abdomen. It wasn't a cannonball, but the pain alone was something More than worth noting. He tries getting up blank on the other side of their arena, also finds himself against the wall. He looks at his feet, pushes himself out of the crater. Hdustsst himself o,ff stareat s Hershey's stoma, ch and spots the bruise. It was way more than what he was doing with his arms. He spits on the ground and adjusts his headband, making sure it doesn't fall off.

The two have a standoff, Hershey clearly on guard, and Blank. Looking for an opening. The moment one of them sees the opportunity appears, keeping up a small sandcloud, she tries to open her senses as far as they'll go to pick up one of the boys' movements, like even this just in the wind were too subtle. At what moment does Hershepickks up a change in the draft? He guards to his right, where the boy's fist lands on Hershey's arm, but Blank goes for a knee to the abdomen, but Hershey blocks with his knee. Then the boy disappears again, or she could feel the power in his legs just by the movements alone. He knows that too many of those types of kids, and he's thrilled. He swings a sword around, recreating a large cloud around him to sort of pick up on his movements. He says the sand shifts, indicating the boys are moving around near him. The boy appears to the right, and she goes for a blade strike but misses. Disappears once more, only to immediately reappear behind the blade strike, going for a sweep kick to the abdomen, just the motion of a stride to counter the leg, but in that moment.

Something happens. The boy's muscles start to change, and his speed triples. His kick is instantaneously so if the cross before the blade can even reach him and Hershey a Sonic shockwave pass through is active. Guard her. She falls to the ground. The crowd goes silent.

Nobody reacts to what they saw her. She kept attacking the boy, but the boy kept disappearing. The boy kept striking Hershey's arm, and Hershey kept resisting. The boy band just drew up how he ended up against a wall, not game to another wall, and then the boy series again himself. The boy now has all of his happenings in 5 minutes.

The announcer waits for Hershey to get back up 10 minutes past, and he's not responding. Our guard is sent down to check on the older man. They can finally still breathe but are unconscious.

The crowd shall angrily protest the enormous upset, claiming they want a refund. Other people say that they've been cheated, and the announcer is scratching his head in bewilderment.

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, I regret to inform you that because this is the last Challenger, here is our champion.

The guards, along with the town mayor, approach blank in the arena while medics and other guards carry Hershey away. One of the guards handed a bag full of money to Hershey. The mayor approaches him, hugs him, and then does a bit of showboating for the crowd before leaning into Blank's earrings. Whispering.

Mayor, meet me later on. We'll discuss your future duties.

Hey, pat, blank on the back, then walks away. The announcer tries to fit a blank in for an interview, but he'd already disappeared from the arena while the crowd was complaining in, and the mayor was giving his closing speech.

Meanwhile, in a private Booth in the arena, and Aid and her lady Sid are reminiscing on the fight, specifically the point when the boy does the sweep kick. Gee, especially for members, the part where it is subtly unnoticed by most and the ark of electricity. Okay, from the boy's body charging up his leg for an accelerated kick, gee. She smiled happily at this.

LadyToto thinks we'd find something this interesting out in the middle of nowhere.
