Win kept his composure. "Can you go inside and call King for me?"
Charlotte burst out laughing, the sound edged with mockery. "You mean I should just walk in there and call King like he's waiting for you?"
Win nodded, serious. "Yes."
Her laughter died, replaced by a glare. "Win, are you out of your mind? Just because I decided not to have you arrested doesn't mean you can flap your feathers into my house and talk rubbish."
Win stood silent, unshaken. "It's simple. Just go inside, call him, and we'll both leave your house together."
Charlotte shook her head slowly, almost pitying him. "Such a delusional man. I'm sorry to say this, but King is not here. And now… please, leave my house."
