Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: The Dorm That Breathed

They let him stay.

In the Institution's outer dormitory—a half-destroyed concrete block draped in vines and silence—Seo Joon lay on a narrow bed, the red Core Stone clutched in his fist. His body ached. His mind burned.

He had killed twice. Survived twice. And yet he didn't understand anything.

The system had given him... screens. Stats. A vague idea of who he was. But he couldn't use skills. Couldn't summon weapons. The other students had lightning, fire, shields. He had instinct, rust, and luck.

Still, he wasn't invisible.

A few instructors whispered: "Growth Type... Rare."

Others watched him with curiosity—or wariness.

The next day, during orientation, students lined up to register their class paths. Warriors, mages, rangers, elementalists. Some awakened naturally. Others used special crystals. When Seo Joon's turn came, the system screen flickered oddly.

> "Class: Undetermined.

Class Evolution Locked until Dungeon Synchronization.

Skill Tree: Hidden.

System Weapon Integration: Pending."

Whispers followed him back to the dorm.

That night, he stared at the Core Stone again. Red. Warm. Still useless.

He dreamed of blades—dozens—floating in a void, waiting to be claimed.

But morning would bring something stranger than even his dreams.
