Quinn and Alex stood frozen like statues, their minds struggling to process what they'd just witnessed.
First, there was Liam and Jared's complete attitude reversal—from dismissive to practically worshipful in mere seconds.
But what truly shattered their worldview was watching Lucas, a real estate mogul worth over ten million dollars, bow his head respectfully toward Jason.
Sure, His Development wasn't some massive corporation, and Lucas often needed partners for his projects. But the man was still a certified multimillionaire who commanded respect wherever he went. People usually fought for his attention, not the other way around.
Yet here he was, wearing his most diplomatic smile as he said, "I confess I don't know the full extent of Mr Jason's background. Perhaps he could enlighten us himself?" His voice carried a note of genuine curiosity mixed with reverence. "However, he just purchased both a Lamborghini Revuelto and a Rolls-Royce Cullinan within thirty minutes. Cash payment, no financing."
The Prestige Motors Club chat exploded.
This wasn't some casual car enthusiast group. Membership required ownership of a luxury vehicle worth at least fifty thousand dollars. Most members drove cars in the fifty-to-seventy-thousand range, already placing them in the upper echelons of society.
To these people, someone casually dropping three million dollars was like witnessing a mythical creature.
And not just on one car—two.
Purchased in half an hour. Full payment upfront.
This was wealth that existed in an entirely different dimension.
"Holy shit, that's insane..."
"A Revuelto? I've been saving for that car for three years, and with the economy going to hell, I'm still nowhere close. This guy just throws down cash like he's buying a sandwich?"
"Who the hell is Jason anyway?"
Quinn's perfectly manicured hands trembled slightly as she stared at her phone. Alex's face had gone completely pale.
Jason had been gone for less than an hour. In that time, he'd casually acquired two supercars worth nearly three million dollars combined. Cars that most people could only dream about, purchased with the same nonchalance as buying coffee.
Suddenly, someone in the group chat posted frantically:
[CarGuy_Mike]: GUYS! You won't believe what I just witnessed! That Jason dude actually bought BOTH the Revuelto and the Cullinan—paid in full! I watched the whole thing go down. Even Jonathan William, the dealership director himself, came out personally to handle the transaction. This madman dropped two mil like it was pocket change. Absolutely unreal. I was about to introduce myself when Lucas swooped in first.
Lucas, where are you? I'm heading over!
Attached was a photo of Jason lounging casually in the driver's seat of the Lamborghini, one hand draped over the steering wheel, looking every inch the 2nd generation of a wealthy dynasty.
"Damn... he's actually that young?"
"Wait, is it just me or is he stupidly handsome too?"
"I figured anyone with that kind of money had to be at least thirty-something. But this guy looks like he just graduated college. Hell, he might still be in college."
"And Jonathon personally attending to him? That's massive. he doesn't even show up for most celebrities."
"Now I'm dying to know... who is this guy really?"
Quinn and Alex exchanged meaningful glances, understanding finally dawning.
No wonder Liam and Jared had transformed into perfect gentlemen. Who wouldn't show respect to a young man who bought two multimillion-dollar supercars on a whim and received VIP treatment from the dealership's top brass?
You'd have to have a death wish to disrespect someone like that.
Alex's remaining confidence crumbled completely. That last fragile thread of pride about competing with Jason? Obliterated. Gone. Reduced to atoms.
As for Quinn... her eyes sparkled with a mixture of curiosity and admiration that hadn't been there before.
[System Notification: Quinn's Favorability +5]
By late afternoon, all paperwork was completed. Jason now officially owned both luxury vehicles, having paid the full amount without batting an eye.
He glanced at Jared with casual indifference. "I drove here in one car, and now I have two more. Obviously, I can't drive three vehicles simultaneously. Do you have any drivers who could assist with transport?"
Jared nodded so quickly he nearly gave himself whiplash. "Normally, we don't provide chauffeur services... but for you, Mr. Jason, we'll absolutely make an exception."
Before Jared could arrange anything, a stunning young woman jogged over.
"I can help drive one!" she offered, flashing a radiant smile.
She was breathtaking—with impossibly long legs, a charming smile, and vibrant energy that seemed to light up her surroundings. Her only apparent flaw was a more modest figure compared to some of her colleagues, though it hardly detracted from her overall appeal.
Jason recognized her instantly. Based on the system's earlier notifications and her distinctive appearance, this had to be Alice, one of the two women whose favorability ratings had increased. The system's ability to help him identify people through their stats still felt surreal, but undeniably useful.
Jared observed Alice's eager volunteering with barely concealed surprise. He'd worked with car models before—usually the type you could hire for reasonable rates through standard channels.
Alice, however, was specially invited here with another model named Grace, some of the state's most renowned automotive models.
Yet here she was, practically glowing with enthusiasm... all for Jason.
Word of Jason's supercar purchases had already begun spreading through the auto show like wildfire, but what really captured everyone's attention was watching Alice, suddenly offer to serve as Jason's personal driver.
Jared, who'd been observing from the sidelines, felt like he'd been punched in the stomach.
Just hours earlier, Alice had barely acknowledged his existence. Now she was practically throwing herself at Jason's feet. The contrast was more painful than he'd expected.
But he couldn't even blame her for it.
Jared took a deep breath, forced down his bitterness, and arranged his features into a professional smile.
"Mr. Jason," he said evenly, "how do you feel about Alice as your driver? She's quite famous around here. Doesn't usually go out of her way for anyone."
Jason shrugged with nonchalance, the corner of his mouth twitching upward slightly. "As long as she can drive competently, that's all that matters."
Alice beamed like sunrise, smoothly sliding her arm through his without hesitation. "Oh, don't worry about that," she purred sweetly. "My driving skills are absolutely top-tier."
Jared's jaw tightened almost imperceptibly, but he maintained his polite nod. "Excellent. I'll make the necessary arrangements."
Before he could step away, another model approached with confident strides.
She was taller than Alice, with curves that commanded attention and an expression of calm grace that made her stand out even among the other beauties present.
"Doesn't Mr. Jason have another car?" she asked directly, her voice smooth and self-assured. "I can drive as well. And I promise my skills are just as excellent."
Without waiting for permission, she reached out and hooked her arm around Jason's other side.
Jared felt a muscle in his cheek twitch involuntarily.
That was Grace—another major name in the automotive modeling scene.
Two of the state's top car models. Both clinging to Jason like he was the last man on Earth.
The taste of sourness in his mouth was becoming overwhelming.
But he kept his voice perfectly steady. "Mr. Jason, this is Grace. She's quite famous as well."
Jason nodded as if this was the most natural thing in the world. "Fine. One car each, then."
Ten minutes later, everything was arranged.
Jason settled into the driver's seat of the Lamborghini Revuelto. Alice took the keys to his original Bentley Continental GT, while Grace gracefully slid behind the wheel of his Mercedes-Benz G63.
The three-car convoy rolled out of the auto show in perfect formation, immediately drawing stares from everyone within sight.
People at the entrance stopped their conversations mid-sentence just to gawk.
"Are you fucking kidding me? Two car models at once?"
"And not just any models—Alice and Grace?!"
"Guy buys two supercars and leaves like he's starring in his own movie."
"Man, life really isn't fair..."
"Next life, I'm definitely coming back rich. That's my entire plan."
The envy was so thick you could practically taste it as the luxury vehicles disappeared around the corner, Jason leading the procession in his roaring Lamborghini.
From a distance, Quinn watched the entire scene unfold with complex emotions.
She observed Jason driving away flanked by two top-tier models like they were his personal honor guard, and her lips pressed into a thin, disapproving line.
"Hmph. Typical guy," she muttered under her breath, wrinkling her nose with apparent disdain.
But her eyes never left the departing convoy.
If anything, she was watching more intently than ever before.
