"Reverse Cursed Technique could be called a medical jutsu in your understanding." Megumi paused before continuing. "Reverse Cursed Technique, or RCT, is an advanced ability where a sorcerer multiplies negative cursed energy to create positive energy, which can then be used to heal injuries."
Megumi paused, looking at Kushina. "I'm hungry."
Kushina immediately unpacked the food that Minato had cooked for her. She could cook for herself, but she needed to hear everything Megumi had to say. "Here, eat up."
Megumi devoured the food like a hungry dog, not even offering a simple thank you. After finishing his meal, he had tasted food that let him forget his suffering for a moment.
"Now continue," Kushina said. She couldn't believe how patiently she'd waited for Megumi to finish eating. What pained her most was that the brat hadn't even spared a portion or invited his teacher to share the meal.
Megumi acted like he didn't hear her as he was still trying to pick meat stuck between his teeth. "Here's how it works: normal cursed techniques use negative cursed energy. But if you multiply two sources of negative energy together negative times negative equals positive you create positive energy."
"This positive energy can regenerate body parts and heal wounds that would otherwise be fatal." Megumi sighed with relief. "That's that. Two down, one more to go."
Kushina was very happy hearing that there was a medical method apart from medical jutsu. "Between Reverse Cursed Technique and medical jutsu, which one is better?"
Megumi had to suppress himself from laughing at Kushina's ridiculous question.
"Medical jutsu can only heal minor wounds, not regenerate lost body parts, which RCT can do. Medical jutsu can be learned by everyone who wants to learn it, but some of your shinobi think it's useless. RCT, on the other hand, is not easy to learn you need to have a deep understanding of cursed energy."
Kushina did not expect Megumi to already have such understanding of his energy. She looked at him with newfound respect. "Can you use Reverse Cursed Technique? And explain to me your own cursed technique."
Megumi narrowed his eyes, his face becoming serious. "Why should I tell you my secrets? I'm already telling you about my abilities and energy background."
"Well, one: I took you to see the secret weapon of the village. Two: I already took you as my student, and you still haven't finished answering my first question. Your cursed technique will be the last price for taking you as my student. And don't think I forgot about the last one you haven't mentioned yet yes, the binding vow." Kushina listed shamelessly.
"You..." Megumi pointed his finger at Kushina, speechless at how this shameless woman had just taken advantage of him.
"What?" Kushina pouted.
"Hmph." Megumi breathed out. He understood that Kushina would tell Minato anyway, and she was the best sealing master in the shinobi world at present. So it was a win-win for both of them.
"You see, I can't use RCT now. Maybe in the future I can, but it would have to be in a near-death situation for me to fully awaken it. And my cursed technique is called the Ten Shadows Technique, which I can summon from my shadow," Megumi said.
"Don't forget to list them and their abilities, student," Kushina immediately said.
At this point, Megumi started to question if this was a normal conversation or an ANBU interrogation.
"One is two wolves one is black and the other is white. At that moment, each can easily kill a genin, and a chunin would be a little difficult. But I can fuse them together into their final form, which I call Totality, where they can kill a jonin one-on-one.
"The second is called Nue a bird like an owl that uses lightning ability.
"The third is Toad, which can carry people inside its mouth.
"The fourth is Max Elephant yes, an elephant that acts as a water distributor.
"The fifth is called Rabbit Escape, meant for escaping.
"The sixth is Piercing Bull a bull whose hit power becomes more dangerous the further it runs.
"The seventh is Round Deer a big deer, not a cute one. Its function is RCT.
"The eighth is called Great Serpent it works like a normal snake.
"The ninth is called Tiger a combat summon.
"The last on the list is called the big one, the 'oops stopper,' and its full name is..." Megumi paused dramatically.
"MAHORAGA!!!"
"..."
After screaming, he cleared his throat and continued. "A binding vow is like an agreement that is made between both parties willingly, or with oneself. There are three types of binding vows. One is made by a person alone." Megumi said, but seeing that this woman's face seemed like she had a thousand questions to ask him, he continued, "For example, if I was injured by the Fourth Hokage and I don't have RCT, I could make a binding vow that I will lose my power for a while to heal my damaged arm."
Kushina was happy that Megumi had just broken it down to her level of understanding. She nodded her head like an agama lizard with a smile on her face.
"Good."
"The second one involves two people or more I'm not sure. They will both have to agree to each other's terms and conditions.
"The last is one that is forced on a person from birth they will be an outcast. Like someone not having talent in using chakra in exchange for a powerful body that can make them reach the level of the Hokage's fighting skills. This is called a 'Heavenly Restriction.'"
Kushina was shocked hearing all this information, but her brain couldn't process it without her translator Minato around.
"Between your summons and Minato, do you think he can beat any of your summons?" Kushina asked curiously.
"I think he stands a chance," Megumi replied. He knew that the first five summons couldn't do damage to Minato because of his annoying jutsu.
"Huh." Kushina was relieved after hearing that.
But then she saw Megumi grinning like a madman.
"Why are you laughing like a madman?" she asked.
"Well, if the Fourth Hokage fought Agito, he would lose. But if the village shinobi assisted him, then the village would be exterminated by Mahoraga."
Kushina couldn't let that happen. If there was some summon that could kill Minato, then the village was doomed.
"Can we make an arrangement leading to that binding vow?" Kushina asked with a worried look.
