14.1 — The Morning After
The next morning sunlight crept gently into the streets of Seiryuu Ward, soft and golden.
Minato and Chiharu met at their usual corner.
She wore her uniform perfectly, hair tied neatly, expression unreadable.
He wore his usual sleepy grin, hands in his pockets—but his eyes were subtly avoiding hers.
Except… they both glanced.
At each other's lips.
For just half a second.
> Flash of heat.
Flash of memory.
That kiss…
Neither said a word.

14.2 — At School: Everything Is Normal… But Not
In class, they behaved as usual:
Minato answered questions and fell asleep mid-literature.
Chiharu corrected the physics teacher's equation and silenced a flirt with one glare.
They had lunch together, joked with classmates, helped in group activities.
From the outside, they were the same as always.
But the atmosphere between them had shifted.
Every time their fingers brushed, Chiharu would flinch—then look away.
Every time Minato said something funny, he peeked to see if she laughed.
Every time their eyes met, they broke it instantly.
Yet no one else noticed.
They were still Minato and Chiharu.
But the silence was thicker now.
Not uncomfortable.
Just… waiting.

14.3 — The Walk Home
The wind was cooler that afternoon. Leaves swirled as they walked the quiet road home.
They walked side by side again.
Still silent.
Still normal.
But the tension was undeniable now—like gravity pulling them closer.
Halfway to their houses, Minato stopped.
Chiharu turned slightly. "Minato?"
He looked at her. Truly looked.
> "About… yesterday."
She lowered her eyes. "You kissed me."
> "Yeah."
A pause.
> "And I didn't hate it," he added quietly.
She looked up sharply. "What?"
He scratched his neck. "I didn't think. I just acted. But it wasn't wrong. It felt… right. Like I was doing something I'd done before. Something important."
Her lips parted slightly, breath catching.
> "It confused me," she whispered.
> "Me too."
Another pause.
Then Minato stepped closer.
Too close.
Her back touched the stone wall along the sidewalk. She didn't move.
She didn't want to.
> "Chii-chan," he murmured, eyes locked on hers.
> "You always make my heart feel steady."
> "Even when you're scared. Even when I'm lost."
> "So if I do this again—will you still stay by my side?"
Her answer came in a breathless whisper:
> "Always."

14.4 — The Second Kiss
This time, he leaned in slowly.
Their foreheads touched. Her hands trembled, clutching her bag.
And then—
Their lips met.
Not brief.
Not shy.
A deep kiss, slow and earnest, as if time stopped around them.
His hands gently touched her cheeks. Her eyes fluttered closed.
It wasn't about attraction.
It wasn't even about impulse.
It was the undeniable pull of two souls recognizing each other, through layers of sealed memories and buried promises.
When they finally parted, her face was flushed, breath shaky.
> "That… was unfair," she whispered.
He smiled.
> "Then you can take revenge later."

14.5 — As They Parted
They continued walking, fingers brushing softly—then finally clasping.
No words.
No declarations.
Just mutual understanding.
And somewhere, deep in their souls, something stirred.
> Rimuru... Chloe…
> You're almost home.
