Chapter 25 - Chapter 3: The Phantom of the Bathroom 3

It was already seven in the evening when Fang Yuan returned to girls' dormitory 441. Qin Yanping, Tao Bing'er, and Xu Zhaodi were all online, huddled around a computer, chatting with someone of the opposite sex on QQ. Qin Yanping was the main chatterer, while Tao Bing'er and Xu Zhaodi offered advice. The three of them spoke back and forth, their three personalities blending together. The person of the opposite sex must have been completely bewildered, unable to fathom the QQ account's owner's thoughts. How could he know he wasn't dealing with just one person, but three, each with their own distinct personalities? This style of chat was even more advanced than the once-popular spying method of creating multiple QQ accounts using multiple avatars.

Seeing Fang Yuan come in, the three of them called out, inviting her to join them. Fang Yuan smiled and declined. She was still feeling hungry, so she quickly bought a pack of Master Kong braised beef instant noodles from the shop downstairs for dinner.

Soon, the distinctive aroma of instant noodles filled the girls' dormitory 441. Fang Yuan, disregarding her appearance, wolfed down her food in just two or three minutes, leaving the three girls nearby stunned.

Fang Yuan felt a little embarrassed, her thoughts racing. She forced a forced chuckle. "I think you three are really stupid, going far away instead of near. If you're looking for a handsome guy, there's one in the little shop downstairs. He wasn't there yesterday, so he must be new. His looks and figure are enough to make you drool. He'd shame Jay Chou and piss off Nicholas Tse."

"Really? Are you serious? I'll go check it out!" Tao Bing'er was the first to run downstairs.

Ten minutes later, Tao Bing'er ran in, a beaming look on her face. "He's a handsome guy, indeed! I spoke to him quite a bit. I can't believe how good he was with me. He was completely transfixed by me."

Qin Yanping didn't believe her. Tao Bing'er chuckled, "I asked him how much a pack of Master Kong instant noodles cost, and he said 1.5 yuan. I said it was expensive, and he said if I bought a box, it would be 1.4 yuan a pack. I then asked if I could return it if it wasn't tasty. He said yes, so I bought a box and returned all but one pack. How could he not stare at me in a daze?"

Qin Yanping burst into laughter and scurried downstairs.

Not long after, she returned, bouncing and saying, "That guy is so handsome! Not only did I talk to him, I even took the opportunity to touch him a few times."

Before Tao Bing'er could ask, Qin Yanping unbidden spoke, "I did the same thing as you. I asked him how much a pack of Master Kong instant noodles cost, and he said 1.5 yuan. I said it was so cheap, I usually buy them for 2 yuan. I gave him 2 yuan and told him not to change, but he insisted. We pushed each other, and I took the opportunity to feel his chest muscles. They were so firm..."

Qin Yanping's vivid description, coupled with exaggerated expressions, made everyone laugh.

Tao Bing'er suddenly frowned and sighed deliberately, "I hate instant noodles the most. Haha, I'll have to let you finish them."

After that, Tao Bing'er placed the noodles in front of Fang Yuan. The expression on her face seemed to be asking Fang Yuan for help.

Fang Yuan was stunned. A warm air surged from the depths of her once frozen heart, spreading and enveloping her entire body. Her nose felt a little sore, and her eyes seemed moistened by some warm liquid. The figure in the light, though hazy, seemed much more familiar.

"Tao Bing'er..." Fang Yuan didn't know what to say after calling out Tao Bing'er's name. She coughed hard a few times to hide her emotion, lowering her head and wiping away the tears.

Next to her, Xu Zhaodi put instant noodles into Fang Yuan's bowl and soaked them, giving her a knowing smile.

"Hey, it's 7:30! Go take a shower!" Tao Bing'er suddenly called out, running towards the bedroom.

"If you hadn't told me, I almost forgot. Let's go!" Qin Yanping chased after Tao Bing'er.

The two of them rummaged through the drawers, finding a change of clothes, shampoo, soap, and so on, and rushed to the bathroom.

Qin Yanping was quick, grabbing the one closest to the bathroom. The two of them laughed and chatted as they undressed and prepared to bathe.

Turning on the faucet, the showerhead released an umbrella-shaped stream of water. A hazy, white mist escaped from the water, slowly rising, filling the bathroom with a hazy, misty world. The orange light, entangled in the mist, dimmed its brightness, appearing dim and soft.

Qin Yanping stripped off all her clothes and stood naked under the shower. The warm water sprayed over her youthful, delicate body, softly and gently, like a gentle rain, bringing a subtle yet refreshing comfort. She wiped the moisture from the mirror's surface and saw her naked self. Her face was rosy, her skin was white, and her breasts were firm, like a newly ripe fruit, juicy and juicy.

She felt a touch of pride, turning several times to admire her alluring curves, a hint of a smile on her face.

The water trickled silently, and Qin Yanping gently wiped herself with a towel, occasionally touching her sensitive areas. The warm water and towel brought her an indescribable pleasure. Her eyes began to mist over, and her slender fingers unconsciously stroked herself. Her breathing quickened, and she murmured softly, as if in a dream.

Tao Bing'er's voice carried through the wall: "Qin Yanping, is the shower comfortable? Wash quickly. I hear many vengeful ghosts like to hide in the bathroom, waiting for someone to be unnoticed, then suddenly attack and possess them..."

Tao Bing'er's words brought Qin Yanping back to reality. Amidst the swirling heat, she felt a chill. "You're trying to scare me again? Humph, if there really were a ghost, it would possess you first!"

"Wow, our Miss Qin is getting really brave." After a pause, Tao Bing'er suddenly screamed She cried out in a terrified tone, "Oh no! There really is a ghost in the corner! I'm so scared! It's coming, coming... Help me! Qin Yanping!"

Qin Yanping didn't believe Tao Bing'er's lies. She suspected she was just trying to scare her. "Do you think I'd believe you? I wish there was a ghost there, preferably a fierce one, so I could scare you to death!"

Even so, Qin Yanping still felt a little uneasy. She pressed her ear to the wall but heard no other sound, only the faint gurgling of water.

Qin Yanping listened for a long time, but there was still no sound of Tao Bing'er bathing. Her heart rose to her throat, and she nearly burst into tears. "Wow... Tao Bing'er, don't scare me. Stop playing! I give up. I'm really scared!"

But there was still no sound from Tao Bing'er. It was as if she had suddenly vanished from the next room. Qin Yanping tried to call out to Fang Yuan and Xu Zhaodi, but her voice was pitifully weak, echoing repeatedly in the small, enclosed space, fading until it vanished.

The window curtains suddenly swung without a breeze, and Qin Yanping watched nervously, her mouth open. Suddenly, the curtains parted, and a black object slipped silently in.

It was a cat, a black cat.

The black cat gazed at her dimly, its eyes revealing an indescribable strangeness and sadness. She couldn't tell if it was the cold or the cat itself, but she shivered all over, leaning against the smooth wall. The coldness seeped into her skin against the wall.

The black cat didn't cry. Instead, it looked down at Qin Yanping, then suddenly recoiled, arching its back, its tail raised.

It was about to attack!

Qin Yanping had been bitten by a wild cat before and was familiar with this gesture. She knew cats only used this when they were about to attack.

Could it be that it mistook her for prey?

How could this be possible?

But the black cat leaped over nimbly, its sharp claws seemingly bounding straight for her.

Qin Yanping, quick-witted, swung the soaked towel hard, striking it. The flying cat was deflected by the wet towel and landed in front of her.

"Meow!" The black cat cried out in pain, glaring at Qin Yanping fiercely before climbing back up the wall to the window and escaping through the curtains.

Qin Yanping let out a long breath, straightened her body unsteadily, and, trying to confirm the cat's departure, slowly walked towards the window.

The water from the showerhead continued to flow steadily. The bathroom drain was probably clogged, and a considerable amount of water pooled on the floor, feeling a bit cold.

Suddenly, Qin Yanping's foot seemed to touch something furry and slippery, giving her no leverage. Before she could bend down to see clearly, a sharp pain shot through her foot, and she lost her balance and fell heavily. When her body penetrated the thin layer of water and hit the hard tiles, she finally let out a thrilling scream: "Ah——"
