Akira's face went pale.
"Impossible," she whispered. "She's the Moonguard."
The sorcerer's eyes snapped to Lara, burning beneath his hood.
"Then where is it? Where is the light that should be in her blood?"
Lara gave a weak, bitter laugh. "Maybe it doesn't want to answer to you," she said.
He rose slowly.
"No… it's there. I can feel it, it's locked once more." He stepped closer. "Tell me, Moonguard, did you lose your powers when you crossed into the demon realm?"
Lara glared at him without answering.
The sorcerer's magic surged again. The wind grew stronger and the sky turned red.
"We'll see about that," he said coldly. "If I cannot draw out your Moonfire, then I will burn it out of you."
Akira backed away, glancing uneasily at the red sky. " Don't do anything rash my prince. We need her alive."
"Silence!" he roared, the torches flaring bright. "This is not over."
