Starting next week, I'm moving from twice-weekly updates (Wednesday/Saturday) to once-weekly updates on Saturdays. This change allows me to maintain quality while working on expanding the Love, War, Apocalypse universe with additional projects.
Based on engagement data, Saturday appears to be when most of you are active and reading, so this should actually improve visibility for new chapters.

This series has grown beyond what I initially imagined, and I'm planning multiple books exploring different couples in this post-apocalyptic world. This schedule adjustment positions me to deliver on that vision while maintaining the story quality you've come to expect.
✨ Sweet Fixes & Polishes ✨
Major Rewrites:
Chapter III: The Bridge (Formely 'Red Smoke') - Completely restructured the first encounter between Kai and Olivia. Now features a tactical bridge destruction mission that better establishes both characters' competence and the strategic elements of their conflict.Chapter IV: Smoke & Mirrors (Formely 'Besieged') - Rewrote the chapter IV as a direct sequence for III for clearer action and stronger character motivations. The deception tactics and moral complexity are now more prominent.
Polish Updates:
Chapter I & II - Streamlined prose, tightened dialogue, and improved pacing while preserving the emotional core and world-building elements.Chapter V - Minor tweaks to improve flow and character consistency.
Why These Changes? The original versions had some pacing issues and purple prose that could slow down new readers. These revisions maintain the psychological depth and character development you've come to expect while making the story more accessible and engaging from the start.
The core story, characters, and themes remain unchanged - I've simply made the storytelling more efficient and impactful.
