Hey 👋 my lovies ❤️ just wanted to tell you I am officially in a relationship, but we just met and it all moved so fast but am happy with it... And Chris the date didn't work out the way I wanted it to but am not sad cause I got a best friend from it too, now on to the matter at hand I announcing that my other book "UNRAVELED LOVE" is almost at its end like for real and am happy that it is so I could finish the rest of my books including this one..... But now I just have few words of mine to you my darling Chris, you are in serious trouble and I hope you come out safe......

"Poppy why are you sounding..... I don't know like I made a great mistake that would cost me my life" I asked with a frown. Like come on he was into me, I wasn't interested first but not until our second meeting and how he treated me like I was special. you can't really blame me for falling for him.
Poppy just stared at me with something I couldn't quite name, was it pity or was it something much darker.... He then took a deep breath like to cook off some steam then he came closer then screamed my ears off... Luke literally screamed not even minding the place we were in or the individuals that were seated present in here....
"KID YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH HUH...!!!!!!
He then calm himself a little but he looked so drained not just from strength alone but from colour too. Did what I said be something that bad.....
"Poppy why are you overreacting, and why did what I just said bring about this kind of reaction from you...????" I asked.
"Of course he doesn't know the implications of his actions..." Poppy face palmed immediately and shook his head in pity... Before muttering. "Perfect. Just perfect"
He then looked at me then asked a very simple question but that question sounded like I entered a do or die situation and it was beginning to freak me out.
"Do you know what you may have just gotten yourself into or the implications of what the words you told me can cause.....????" He raised his right brow
I couldn't answer his words cause I couldn't trust my words so I nod instead and that was all it took for him to seem dead totally like the little soul that lingered in him was squished by my actions itself.
In an instant......
"Hello..... Yeah..... Yeah.... Hmm Mm.... Ahm I got an important thing to tell you Tim.... Tim listen it is important it is about Adam." He paused as so as the other person by the way I got to know was my fiancee the demon Tim Lionheart...
"Text me the details..... And let me know anything else later" Tim said in a low voice but I could hear it anyways cause ever since I was a kid I had this super hearing and I can't believe I ever thought it was a super power. How dumb was I then jezz.
The call ended without any of them telling their goodbyes.
We just sat there for a while, no one talking to the other..... Total silence. No spoken words and it felt heavy all of a sudden.
"So what happened....." I tried to break the silence and the thick tension between us.
"Nothing much, but....." Poppy came closer to me like he doesn't want anyone to hear what we have to say.... " Chris stay away from Adam and don't contact him, don't speak to him, don't visit, don't go to him in bars or anyplace" he added before sitting upright.
"I only contacted him like in three months ago and am done, I ended everything with him then...so I have nothing to do with him so why were you acting the way you did... It all look serious. So why were you scared?????" I asked.
"You may not have anything to do with Adam but he has everything to do with you." He stated and those words sent chills down my spine with cold sweat running down my temples.....
"What do you mean by that????" I asked to inquire some more. I feel like something wasn't right like I was kept in the dark from a dark secret that no one was allowed to know.....
"He is among the family people that Tim did away immediately he became the current mafia king immediately after the death of his father and he was known as a popular assassin called dark sparrow." He said then took a sip of his wine then kept the wine down.
"Still think you are safe.... Cause you have been branded his property. Now do you know the implications of your actions" he added.
At that moment the implications of his words hit me like cold air on my face. I suddenly felt cold like I was exposed to extreme cold weather. Adam was an assassin like one of the world well known killers in the Mafia world. Why was I dancing in dangers of this world... I am in a dangerous situation between two people I really don't want anything to to with.
Why is the universe giving me up to get killed. I just wanted to go to school, become a successful actor then get married to a successful man like a CEO or something like that and live peacefully but now am living in the opposite side of life.
Why is life so unfair to me, why readers why?????.....
Just as we were about to continue our little discussion that was starting to kill me from within someone unexpected showed up to our table and I immediately hate her than the thought of being with my killers.
You may say this is mean but no it is not... Staying with Natasha or should I address her with her stupid title lady Natasha is like staying with hell and death at the same time. I rather stay with Tim and Adam in a room than to sit with her for a minute.
"Ohhhhh poppy you here, I didn't see you when I was coming in" she said trying to sound polite but you can still here the edges of her words carrying disdain on it.
Like gurlllll we don't give a f*ck....
Poppy just looked at her and he smiled so slimly that kind of smile that shows how unwanted you really don't want to talk to someone unimportant.
"Ohhh yeah..... Natasha how great to find you here, " he said as he picked up his wine to his lips.
"Yeah, I never really thought I was coming here but I had to cause of a client.... You see since am about to become the next mafia king after my father retire. I need to make connections and all" she stated before glancing my way with something dark.
" Ohhh who do we have here, the trash of a person" she giggled with her hands covering her lips in a fancy way like a spoilt princess. " I heard you are getting married to my Tim....."
Now this just stroke a nerve in me..... I just lazily raised my head to looked at the dummy standing in front of me.
"Your Tim.... The last time I checked he was after me not you and am the one marrying him not you....." I said before continuing. "and am not some trash like you, Natasha or dummy or whatever your name is am not dependent on title to rule.... I make my future as a successful actor while you wait for daddy to give his title to you and you dear call me trash pathetic" I say as I stood close to her face to face.....
Poppy just sat there laughing his a*s off without interfering.
"That's a good one Chris" he commented before laughing again.
"How dear you.....!!!" She screamed as her hands were coming to my face but I held it halfway.
I let out the most disgusted and irritated voice i have ever used on a person..." Try this rubbish again or any time again after this, then you will be going home with so many broken bones that I will compare you to a broken dull" I said as my grib got tight around her wrist..... Before throwing her hand away, took my sit before facing my glass.
"You will regret this, for this you will pay for this with everything " she announced
"What ever..... Words of a failed person " I say gaining another laughter from poppy as he laughed wildly.....
"This is funny..you've guts Chris.. I will give you that " he said as he continue laughing.
Natasha just matches away from our table to meet her client or her sugar daddy cause I don't really care.

POV: POPPY'S POINT OF VIEW...
The encounter with Natasha was unexpected but it was worth the while cause Chris just solo's her with words and actions.... Tim made a great choice but I hope he makes him his soon cause I have a feeling that Adam will not let things go easily not that am afraid but I hate bodies building up.
"This is funny..you've guts Chris.. I will give you that" I laughed wildly. It is important to enjoy the present and live the future events for later.....
Natasha just matches away from our table to meet her client she told me she wanted to meet. She is mad, but with Tim backing Chris up she can't do shit.....
But just incase I still need to inform Tim of this recent events. Chris needs care from dangers of life..... I too will help from behind the scenes for this to work my friend needs a great relationship.
Just then I got a message from Tim and my eye socket almost popped out...
**Tim.heart❤️: be careful Adam is in the building with you two....
I quickly respond with shaking hands

I took a breath to cool my nerves, it is better to keep a cool head than a hot one that was what I was tought by my father during my training. After all I got moves in killing.
I just smirked.... The game is about to start and am all in this to enjoy the drama.

POV: NATE'S POINT OF VIEW.
This is really interesting.... I now see what my boss, my master in whom my entire being belongs to see in this kid....
....
I was spectical about him before but now I see the action and this is what the operation needs in this organisation and Chris delivers.
"How interesting... Young master has guts I will give him that..... " I said to the other end of the call.
"Yeah I know right, this is what I see in him." Sir Tim said to me.
"Yeah but I just have to look out for Adam cause he's sitting at the other end of the seats close to the window " I informed sir Tim.
"Good keep an eye on him and don't let anything happen to my Chris..... I will inform poppy too after all he is skilled in assassination too before he quit " sir Tim voice turned serious before ending the call.
"I will do that my king...." I said in a whisper as I keep my phone in my pocket observing from the dark or the background.
I have a feeling that things will become complicated.

POV: ADAM'S POINT OF VIEW.
I enjoyed the drama between Natasha and my Chris.... Mine Chris is mine and I will not let anyone or anything change that.
"That's my boy..... I love this man" I muttered.
But am not comfortable with my Chris sitting with that parasite Plasmodium sitting close too close to him.
I need to sit with him but it is too opened.
I just still kept looking at my Chris and all his image..... I just kept daydreaming that I didn't know that a real threat was still in this same building.

POV: NATASHA'S POINT OF VIEW...
That trash doesn't know what he has gotten himself into. I will never let this slide.
But not to worry he wouldn't be my problem for long Adam will take care of him. And if he doesn't I will end him myself.
'he doesn't mess with me and thinks I will take it lightly..... I wouldn't let it slide and he still thinks he can marry my Tim. Not happening on my watch.... I will end him, Tim is mine and not his' I said to myself.
'i will end him and every little dream or everything he loves. I will end them in one go ' I smiled evilly as I sat with my client for the meeting.
'i have powers and connections while he has non, I will use anything to crush that little parasite.... I will make sure to end his pathetic dream of his' I thought as I greeted the man close to me...
"Good day Mr Williams, sorry that am late just had to do something really quick. let's continue this meeting shall we" I said.
