James's eyes narrowed, spotting the Holy Lord atop ruins, his dragon form radiating hellfire. Seven shadows approached—Howling Wind's hurricanes, Basha's floods, Dikui's quakes, Zhongsu's lightning, Pogang's gluttony, Ximu's shadows, Curse Blue's gravity.
"Balance, huh? They need a leader," James said, speeding to the battlefield.
Manhattan Ruins
James appeared amid wreckage—crumbled skyscrapers, cracked streets, floating cars. "Energy readings off the charts," Turing reported. "Eight distinct signatures."
James's nano-armor formed, black with gold veins, its solar core glowing. Uncle, Jackie, and Jade spotted him. "The suit guy!" Jade tugged Jackie. "New skin!"
The Holy Lord's eyes burned. "You stole my talismans!" The demons' pressure surged. Curse Blue sneered, "Another fool to die."
James raised a hand. "Mirror Dimension, activate." Golden sparks sealed Manhattan, isolating the purple moon's light. Curse Blue's gravity hurled debris, but James's telekinesis and bio-field shattered it. "Test over," he said.
He fired hellfire spikes at Curse Blue, who deflected them with gravity. James teleported behind, smashing his spine. Crack! Curse Blue crashed, bleeding purple. James's magic chains bound him, heat vision burning his head.
The demons attacked. James scattered Zhongsu's lightning dragon, pierced Basha's water serpent, halted Pogang's charge, kicked Howling Wind through the dimension's edge, and crushed Dikui's rock fist. Ximu's shadow spikes missed; James's shadow power bound her. "Your shadows are mine," he said, exploding her head.
"System, can I kill them?"
[Seal them. World balance will correct after you leave.]
James nodded, forming a golden array. "Source Devouring Seal!" Chains bound the demons, extracting their essences. The Holy Lord roared, but James pierced his chest, absorbing his fire. [Ding! Acquired enhanced demon powers: Holy Lord's Hellfire, Curse Blue's Gravity, Zhongsu's Lightning, Basha's Water, Howling Wind's Air, Dikui's Earth, Pogang's Absorption, Ximu's Shadow Travel.]
"Back to Hell!" James sealed them into Hellgates. The Mirror Dimension shattered, returning Manhattan to normal, the purple moon gone.
Uncle stammered, "He absorbed their sources!" Jade cheered, "He ate demons!" Jackie wiped sweat. "Thanks."
"Just sealed them," James smiled. "They'll reflect in Hell."
[Ding! Mission complete! Prevented apocalypse, sealed demons, balanced plane!]
