Above, James felt the Bull Talisman's heavy, pure energy. He activated the magic array, yellow energy flooding his body, muscles densifying, bones popping. Boom! A casual punch blasted a vacuum through clouds. "Base strength up tenfold," he noted, imagining a clash with Immortal Hulk. The talisman's absolute strength rule bonded permanently, amplifying with his solar-enhanced power.
Ding! Fused talismans: Dragon (Hellfire), Chicken (Telekinesis), Bull (Absolute Strength).
"Next, Rabbit Talisman," James said, scanning the West Coast. His vision found a black turtle in the ocean, Rabbit Talisman on its shell. He shot forward, breaking the sound barrier.
Above the sea, he locked onto the turtle. "Not easy to find." He dove, bio-field negating pressure, and faced the turtle. It met his gaze, then whoosh! vanished, Rabbit Talisman glowing.
"Racing me?" James's dynamic vision tracked it, speeding through the ocean, tearing water. He followed, amused. The turtle glanced back, surprised, accelerating to supersonic, evaporating water. James kept pace. "How fast can you go?"
The turtle, defiant, pushed faster, crossing the Pacific in seconds. James laughed. "Enough." Telekinesis froze it. He plucked the talisman. The turtle blinked. James tossed it a wisdom fruit. It nodded, swimming off.
Fusing the Rabbit Talisman, blue energy optimized his cells, slowing time perception. Ding! Rabbit Talisman's speed rule fused. Host can reach superluminal speeds, limited by energy.
James vanished, reappearing in a still world. "Nice."
In Bavaria, atop an ancient clocktower, a pig statue held the pink-glowing Pig Talisman. James stepped from a portal, plucking it. He fused it, pink energy merging with his eyes. Ding! Pig Talisman's energy ray fused. Heat vision upgraded to Destruction Ray, with explosive effects enhanced by Dragon Talisman.
Testing it in the Alps, he fired, piercing a mountain, triggering an internal explosion, collapsing it. Sweeping rays leveled the range. "Far beyond heat vision," he nodded.
Ding! Fused talismans: Dragon (Hellfire), Chicken (Telekinesis), Bull (Absolute Strength), Rabbit (Speed), Pig (Destruction Ray).
Seven talismans remained. James's vision scanned for the next.
